Congrats to everyone that made it to the 240's! After this weekend and the birthday party for my son and daughter, I expected a gain. I predicted it on Thursday and sure enough I was at 258.6. But I'm ok. This is my pattern. Lose 4-5 lbs in as many days, gain 2-3, repeat every week. Ha! So I average about 2.5lbs a week but it jumps a lot. Once I figured it out the gains don't bother me so much. I know they're temporary. I'm pretty confident that I'll see the 240's by mid september. Have a good week everyone!

Just wanted to let you guys know, that after eating at 4 restaurants this weekend for my anniversary, I weighed in a lb less than I did any day last week this morning. It might catch up to me, but I am proud of myself for going out, celebrating, and not overdoing it!

SugarRomeoTango4852: Sorry your not leaving us yet. Happens to me all the time. Up and down, up and down seems to be my pattern. We will all get there eventually. Today is a new day!

I gained 1.6 after my day of eating too much stuff this weekend with all of our plans. Back on track today.

Well....I saw a .9 loss on Sunday followed by a 1.1 gain today so the 2-3 lb yo-yo adventure continues. Not sure I mentioned it here but I signed to compete in the Body Fit Challenge at my gym. It's an 8-week biggest loser type weight loss challenge in which the biggest losers (percentage of body weight) get prizes. I was really nervous to sign up but, as my plateau continues, am getting more and more juiced by the day. If anything is going to snap my body back into loss mode - it's this. BRING IT ON!


Skinny -- Thanks! Your message REALLY meant a lot to me.

Lindy -- It doesn't sound like you did too bad with everything going on. You should be very proud of yourself...I know I am!

Dreamer -- Yup. I am SO with you in seriously despising these darn 250's. Really sorry to hear you were laid up this weekend. I hope your muscle heals soon my friend!

Trish -- Doesn't sounds like you were too bad yesterday so hopefully one piece of pizza heaven won't knock you back much, if anything. BTW - I love the coloring in your hair. Those highlights are kick a$$!

Berry -- Congrats on a great weekend! You are definitely rocking those mini-goals!

Kwigg --

MeliZ -- Congrats to you on a great weekend as well. Very cool that you had such a good time while staying OP!

I was given the ok to start working out again YAY!! so I decided to do jillian michaels 30ds and start buildign stamina on the bike again so 2 miles in 15 mins (I think it was 2 miles...might have been 3 or 4, ill have to map it) Not the greatest but for not having been on a bike since I was 13...I will take it. I had the bike on the hardest gear it has so Ill take it I have vowed not to jump on the scale until thursday (new exercise regimen and TOM =not scale friendly) Hope everyone has better luck this week!

Down 2.2 lbs this morning to 257.3! Yay whoosh! I hope you stay but after my measurements (down 4.75" inches from July 14th - 15.75" total inches lost) and progress pics (attached), I'm good to go!

Dreamer -- So happy to hear you the go ahead to exercise again. Keeping my that Thursday's WI shows you something that makes your heart sing!

UP again! I am going the wrong way!!! I think the culprit is eating some pretzles. I have removed them from my site. Hopefully tomorrow will go down with a pretzle-free day.

@Lindy: I hate it when that happens! I went up instead of down last week and I was incredibly discouraged. You will move in the right direction soon.

Dreamer -- Wow! Three days to two weeks!?!? That's rough. And thanks for the compliments!

Lindy -- THANK YOU! I am definitely feeling better having SEEN the results of my hard work. Those pictures and measurements mean way more to me than what's on the scale! (Though I'm VERY happy THAT'S moving again too!) Sorry about seeing that gain again today. I have SO been there and completely feel for you. Good job getting rid of those preztels!

DOWN 2 more pounds this week at my weigh in! I'm officially in the 250's! I weigh 259.. I am happy this weight is so coming off my body!
