Ugh bad news guys...I feel like I have one foot in the 250's thread and one in the 260's thread.... I've been back and forth between 259 and 260. Today was a strict day in regard to tracking my WW points and I also took a break from studying and made it to the gym! I hope tomorrow i'll feel more comfortable to bring that other foot in!

Does anyone here have any tips for busy grad students on how to stay on track? Today at the gym I took one of my power points and studied while on the arc trainer for 40 minutes. It made the workout go a lot faster!

I just wanted to say these forums are tremendously helpful! Its so great to have some support! I really do wish all of you all the best! Heres to losing the weight and leading healthier lives! (whoa...i'm being SUPER positive tonight )

Quick post this morning --- late for work already, so what's a few extra minutes?? lol

Dancerchickchic --- I've been in the same boat!! Hope you get both feet here today.

Down to 258.0 today --- FINALLY! Was very strict yesterday with my food intake and worked out for 70 minutes on the elliptical yesterday (900ish calories).

No offense peeps, but I'd like to be outta here and into the 240s thread by October. tee-hee

Down .5 today to 252.6. I'm happy to see the scale going down again but am a lil' nervous to start celebrating because it's been such a roller coaster these past two months. I have now been in the 250's for 56 days! Arg! But alas, I KNOW I will defeat these 250's!

Dancer -- I so understand what you're feeling right now. Every new decade seems to go like that as if the boundary between the 9 and the 0 is made of rubber and I keep bouncing off it. You will do this though! I KNOW IT!

PghGal -- No offense taken! I am SO freakin' done with these darn 250's! I'd BETTER be outta here by October!

I am 250.4!! Hoping to hit the 240's next week but I have a sneaking suspicion TOM is on it's way so we shall see. Welcome to all the newbies to the 250's!!!

So glad to find this thread! I had some good losses before my trip back to the US (read: 3 weeks of restaurant dinners & no exercise!), and before the busy summer season of work/summer events. Now I'm back on track, starting out this time in the 250's, but hoping not to stay long!

I was 252.5 a couple of days ago, and haven't weighed since. Will weigh again Friday. Hoping this will only be a quick hello before I say goodbye to the 250's!

ahhh kids, i'm still here...

finally got my computer up and running after my laptop spazzed and wouldn't play nice with the wireless internet. but also in that time i had a love affair with chinese food and fried chicken wings :O

i checked the scale after my chinese for lunch, leftovers for dinner... and the next day i had a FOUR POUND sodium bump. needless to say, i'm still here hangin out in the 250s. the gen tso's chicken is gone, and so that means the temptation is gone. back to business!

Down .8 to 251.8 this morning! I'm cautiously excited about that WI since I was previously at that weight exactly one month ago! LOL! Whatever! I'm back down and OH SO anxious to get out of these pesky 250's. I'm on 57 days and counting! Gotta get my booty OUTTA here!

Dreamer -- Woo hoo! You are so freaking close and I am so freaking jealous! LOL! Go on with your bad seld girlfriend! I'll be seeing you over in the 240's SOON!

Slowrunner -- Hello and hopefully goodbye to you too! Congrats on finding us...no matter how brief. Hope to see us all in the 240's VERY soon!

Kinda fell off the wagon and have not been ready to pick myself up again. Hope I did not gain too much back. Still unemployed and job searching just makes me more depressed and anxious so food is becoming my comfort once again. Hopefully I will pick myself back up soon and be into losing weight again. Hoping that is tomorrow.

257 this morning! Yay! I'm feeling really good so far and its been about 2 weeks...I hope I can keep the motivation.

Lindy...I hope things look up for you soon! I go to food for comfort as well. On weight watchers I can still have my comfort foods but I just have to be willing to use up those points. Good luck!

JamiSue - I think we'll hit the 240's thread together. My home scale (unofficial and naked) has me well into the 240's but it doesn't count (to me) until Saturday at WW and THEIR scale tells me the good news (with clothes on).

This week has been wonderful for me. I increased my protein intake and have seen a HUGE difference in my appetite. I've started a C25K as well and it makes me feel good. 240 was my pre-preg weight (a 15 pound gain from my lowest weight). So I'd like to see that my Thanksgiving.

Today I weighed in at 258 lbs. I am back in the 250s after taking a small hiatus from my diet and having to re-lose some. I am glad to see some familiar faces and I will talk to you all later!

Down 1.1 to 250.7 this morning! This is a new low for me and I feel like singing this morning. that I FINALLY have broken through my plateau after 58 days and counting in the 250's. Hmmm...Maybe there won't be a 59th day? Maybe there won't be a 60th day? Here's hoping!

Lindy -- I'm hoping for you that the day is TODAY! It sounds like things are quite stressful in your life right now and I'm betting that eating better and exercising a bit will go a long way toward improving your outlook. Stay strong and remember that every decision is an opportunity to get back OP.

Dancer -- Congrats on another loss this morning! yay!

Jessica -- I certainly hope so. As you can see, I've been in this decade for quite long enough. Tomorrow is my official WI day and I'm really hoping I can knock of another .8 overnight and be done with these 250's! I'm okay if it's takes another week for it to be official though, I'm just so glad the scale has decided to stop being a rollercoaster for a bit.

Trish -- Sorry to see you back but happy to see you again. You'll kick these 240's to the curb again...just like you did before. You CAN do it!

Hi all,

thought I'd jump in here again... pretty sure I posted here last time I was on my way down and got all the way to 251.2 before getting frustrated and quitting and over several months (a year?) made it up to 263. Now I'm back down to 255.6 this morning and hoping to finally break that 250 barrier! This is probably the fourth time I've approached it and everytime in the past something seems to keep me stuck there, so here's to blasting through! I've been writing "249" in small print on my hand just to remind me what I'm doing this for as I tuck into my veggies and salad. Healthy thoughts to everyone here!
