    Mandy --- Ooooh Gen Tso is an old friend of mine. LOL I probably couldn't resist it either if it was in my immediate vicinity ... no worries, that sodium will be out of your system in a few days.

    Lindy, Hope you got back on the bandwagon!! Maybe go read a few "goal" posts if you need to jump-start your motivation. Sometimes that helps me!

    Trish - Welcome back!! You'll be back to where you were in no time, plus some. Or rather, minus some.

    Jami - Congrats on your losses!! You will be in the 240s within a few days, certainly. I hope you see you there in early October!! You are my MyFitnessPal-friend weight-loss superstar.

    Kylon - Great idea on writing the number "249" down ... Visible reminders work wonders, don't they?

    I've weighed at 251.5 and 252 the last couple of days, so at least I'm on the right track. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I won't be in the 240s just yet, as I have a killer weekend coming up, with no chance for real exercise, and not much chance for solid, healthy meals, either.

    Setting a super-mini goal to get under 250 by next Friday!

    i was so excited to hit 248... lowest i'd been in years. got all the way back up to 255 from the sodium gain, and now can't seem to break past 252. stupid sodium. stupid pounds hanging on. stupid scale. buncha hookers!

    ANYWAY! today i'm trying to save my calories for this evening, there's a cook out tonight. i made pecan bars. mmm. like pecan pie, only much smaller pieces. bringing hotdogs for our meat on the grill. they are the turkey/chicken/pork kind, so 2 dogs + 2 buns + ketchup and mustard ~ 450 calories. and i'm trying to save up/earn up enough that i have 1200-1400 available for food so i can sample desserts and have a drink at the poker night so far today only 130 calories in the form of a fiber plus bar, and TONS of water. as well as 45 mins with the stationary bike.

    i'm thinkin i'll work on another load of laundry, and then do another round with the bike! earn up some more calories. and stay busy and not eating.

    @PghPal- we've both still got quite a few of those pesky 250's left but I know we'll get it done!

    @Trish- Thanks! I've tried it before and get tired of rewriting the same number down day after day so hopefuly I'll get to be writing a new number there soon!

    Weighed in this morning at 255.0! I was proud of myself last night- sat at a table with five guys who had all brought snacks like oreos, chocolate cake, doritos, cheetos, etc and stared at it for four hours and limited myself to two hershey kisses. Hope that I can keep saying no to those foods that keep throwing themselves at me!

    Tomorrow is my weigh in. JEEZ, I hope I am out of the 250's. I want to struggle in the 240's for awhile.

    I missed my C25K workout today because the wee one was a wee pain in the arse. So I will have to get it in tomorrow.

    I've been super stressed out. The Cute Boyfriend's had a family emergency so he's been spending the night taking care of his great-aunt so I don't have help overnight and in the morning. I don't know how single moms do it. BUT I haven't been eating my stress which is a huge change for me.

    Kylonaa-that is the hardest part, isn't it! Good for you for standing ground! It only gets easier with time with that stuff!

    I think it does get easier the further you go but it just makes me tired the number of times per day, not to mention per week I have to either say no to something I'm offered that I really want or figure out how I'm going to meet a friend for drinks and not blow it. I just have to remember I can't recall what I ate three years ago today but I can recall everyday knowing that I'm bigger than where I want to be. 254.6 today!

  • I lost 1.4 pounds. Last Monday I was 257.4. Today I'm 256.
  • 249.5 this morning! I'd been seeing a lot of strength and measurement changes for this past week, but very little scale movement, so perhaps the scale decided to catch up with all the other improvements. Giving it a couple of days to make sure it's for real, but I'm so excited to get back under 250! See you all in the 240's!
