hey ladies! i'm back (temporarily) due to the whole "august? who loses weight in august?" mode my body went into... between the sickness and the moving and 3 weeks of not tracking, i gained 3.8 pounds, and that puts me back up to 252.0 ... my weight from august 1, which means no loss for august (no loss, but also no gain!). and hopefully, i'll only be here until next friday.
back to the exercising and eating right routine that got thrown out the window during sickness and moving!

jami - i am so inspired by you. i just wanted to throw that out there you stay motivated, and i'm impressed by your dedication to the exercise challenge you took on. your determination is contagious!
dreamer - congrats on getting to go back to school! that is awesome. one day i will finish my bachelors degree...
today my weigh in was 251.1, a drop of .9 from yesterday. gonna keep pluggin away! got a date with the hubby at the fitness center after his class... and then i'm gonna make fish and mixed steamed veggies for dinner tonight. hope ya'll have a great day!
Hey gang ... looks like I'll be joining the 250s group by tomorrow or Friday. I was 260.0 today, so I have high hopes for my weekly weigh-in. I feel like the 260s have dragged on and on and on ...

I stepped on the scale this am and I have gained weight. I know I went overboard yest but not almost 3 lbs overboard. I know a lot of it is water weight because I know Ive had a crap ton of sodium and I feel dehydrated even though I am downing water PLUS my fingers feel swollen. Sooo.....we will see how thurs and sundays weigh ins go!
I think I am desitned to stay in the 250s. I think that eating healthy would help. Snacking is my downfall for the past few weeks. I have been here so long that I think I should buy some curtains and make this thread my new home. Eventually this weight loss thing will kick in. At least I have not gained too much and gone back to where I started. Hoping for some weight loss soon and to get out of my " feeling sorry for myself" mode and get off the snack wagon.
I was looking for this thread for a while yesterday and gave up disheartened... no other 250 gals? I got into the 250's 3 days ago (hit my prepregnancy weight - just had a baby July 4th) and when I weighed in this morning... I am already halfway down the 250's (254.6!).... So, I'm excited to be here... but even more excited that this may be a short stay! lol
I am nursing so I'm holding off on the heavy exercise til my Roxxi is 6 months and eating some so it doesn't affect my milk. I am eating around 1800 calories a day (what a nursing momma is supposed to have), but am sticking to just protein, fruits, and veggies, (and a little bit of fat for my milk - which is my salad dressings).... It seems to be working!

Started weight watchers and it really seems to be working!
I was so close to leaving this thread last week but a couple days of cranky baby and no time to fix meals meant that I was eating a lot of things I shouldn't. Oh well. We'll get there!
This week's goal is to eat! HA! No really. Eat real food instead of the pint of Ben & Jerry's at 8PM when the baby is finally asleep!
My blackberry finally bit the dust so I sprung for a refurbished iPhone. I got the weightwatchers tracker and it has made my life much easier! No excuse not to track what I'm eating now. Yay!
I might be out of here soon! Weighed in at 250.8 this morning. So, hopefully! I started at 258.4 over a month and a half ago, so it's been slow. But I am getting there! My husband keeps telling me that slow is good, because then I'll keep it off. It's a lifestyle change, not a diet, right?
I'm down 2.4 to 253.1 this morning. I haven't WI in since last Wed as I've been OOT. Just got back from San Francisco. I was volunteering in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. What an amazing adventure that was!

PghGal -- The 250's have been going at a snail's pace for me...like the 260's did for you. I hope you ended up dropping in here like you hoped last week.

Lindy -- Exactly! I've been here a LONG time as well but we CAN and WILL beat this! We're only destined to stay here if we choose to...otherwise, we'll get out here....eventually.
