Trish -- Yay for seeing that scale move. Your loss numbers are simply amazing!
Lindy -- So happy to hear that your FIL on the mend although it sounds like there's still a ways to go before he's in the clear. Yeesh! You're helping out with an injured mom too?!? You are definitely a busy girl! Don't forget to take care of yourself in there too!
shishkeberry -- Whew! You're a busy one too. It's not raining here in CA but I did notice a significant change in the amount of daylight there was at 5:30 this morning. Summer is definitely nearing an end and it'll be pitch black at 5:30 in no time I'm sure. It's always harder to get out of bed in the AM when I'm trying to do it before the sun!
Down to 255.2 which is a 3.2 loss. Yaye! I had gained a bit earlier in the week, but almost lost all of it again. Just hope that I can manage to keep it together this weekend while I'm at the casino celebrating my anniversary. No matter what though, I will keep trucking!
I changed things up this week, doing 2 protein shakes (280 cals each) and a big salad with meat and cheese. Always eating over 1200 calories. Worked out 3 times so far this week, new 45 minute video twice.
Oh my god smsdreamer right!??!?! I'm at the same spot! It just wont go down. But I'm a week away from my period so that always plays with the damn scale! I also want to ask the ladies in here if anyone tries zumba. Is it good/worth it?
I'm up .4 this morning to 257.7. I feel like I'm struggling in these dang 250's but I'm not the only one and that actually provides some comfort. I'm still down 2 pounds in four days, so if I put that in perspective, I definitely shouldn't be complaining.
MeliZ -- BIG congrats on the ginormous loss! That's amazing!
Dreamer / erinmarie -- I am SO with you girls on being sick and friggin' tired of seeing the same number!
erinmarie -- I happen to think Zumba is a really fun class. Not only do learn fun & sexy dance moves but you can bump up or tone down the activity level to suit your needs. All in all, I think it's a great way to get some exercise in!
Hi everyone, Im also new to the forums and in the 250s. I am hoping to lose at least 100lbs to get down to a healthier weight. SO Im all up for making that 250s club and see how far we can all take it to our final weight loss goals
So exciting star!! I have a feeling its going to take me awhile to get to those flirty forties
Welcome shakaboo!!
Yea I think I will start doing the zumba thing. Looks fun....and sexy lol.
@Star: Congrats on dropping out of the 50s! I hope to be joining you next week sometime in the flirty forties!
@Erin: I hear Zumba is fun and sexy but I haven't tried it yet. I am working on the confidence to shake in front of people Make sure to tell us how it goes!
Anyone else really good at staying on for the week and then crashes into a wall on the weekend? anyone have any combating it ideas?
Well...I'm up ANOTHER .4 this morning to 258.2. Right I'm really just trying hard to dig deep and not let this ridiculous bouncing around between the same 1-2lbs get to me. "Just stay focused and work your plan, Jami. The weight IS and WILL come off!"
Mandy -- AMAZING job!!
Shakaboo --
Star -- ROCK those Flirty Forties girl!!
Sugar -- YES! The weekends are definitely tough. I usually give myself and OP Weekend Challenge and have done well the last two - and of course, the darn scale decides to stop moving as my reward. HA! All I can do is laugh!
Trish -- Wow! You are so going to be in those Flirty Forties! GREAT JOB!!

I'm still seeing the same damn number :\ The weird thing is that I am tracking sodium and its affects on me so I have been weighing at night and in the morning. Normally I am 4 lbs or so heavier at night than what I am the next morning and I know that. But lately at night I've been at like 261.0 but in the morning I only drop to 259.8..that's a 2 lb difference not 4-5......So I wanna know what my body is doing :\ I think the 250's are hard for everyone, everyone I know has had issues with them and it is INFURIATING!! sigh.
