Omg - got on the scale and was 252.2 this morning. Trying not to get too excited because so easy to bounce back up and go up and down for a while, but 250 will also be 100 pounds for me... so hard not to get excited Of course, then I can get started on the next hundred!

Since I am starting at 255, this looks like the thread for me! I am going to grab hold of your shirt-tails, ladies, and follow you down to the fantastic forties.

Have a good day, everybody! Watch out for heat stroke and heat exhaustion --- another great reason to drink our water.

Can we do this? YES WE CAN!

Looks like we're all doing pretty well! I'm down to 255.2 this morning! Just the motivation I need since I'm leaving town until Saturday.

253.8 today. Almost back down to where I was this time last week. That Beer Festival coupled with TTOM has not done great things for me. I've been feeling a bit discouraged and not making the best choices (pie, ice cream) but that ends today.

Today, I shall eat right and take a walk!

251.2 today... almost outta here! Just sooo happy to have broken my little plateau- I was stuck at 257 for like 2 1/2 weeks, no matter how well I ate or how much I worked out... it was soooo frustrating! Now that I have been doing step classes 2-3 times a week I have finally come down some more. I wish they had a step class every day because I'd so be there!!! Now, I find my usual workout of running/walking/elliptical for an hour pretty boring- I struggle through it. I think it was my body getting used to the weight loss and the new workout that was holding me back.

So I usually weigh in daily, but, I so went off my plan last weekend that I was terrified to and really see how much damage I had done. I know that this head in the sand thinking is what got me to this weight and heavier, but I could not bring myself to get on that scale. Anyway today is my official weigh in day you know the day that I really count. Anyway the scale said 257.4 this morning. So for the week I lost 1.4 lbs. I am so happy and feel like I can do this again.

I made myself so miserable, and I have been feeling so good, I do not want to do that again.

I hope you all have a great day and I will talk to you later.

Lindy: Thanks for the warm welcome! Now that you have busted through your plateau, I bet you buzz right down through the 250's

1049jess: Halfway to the 240's! WOOT! Where are you going on your trip? Is it business or pleasure?

K0nfyo0zed: You will have lost 50 pounds when you hit 250? WHOO-HOO! We better start planning a celery party, as Mojojuj's mom says. You are rocking!

StarGetsFit: Did you enjoy your walk yesterday? You are getting so darn close to 250 --- sounds like another party!

Lindy: Down .4? Good for you! Look out 240's, here we come!

lili8184: You sound like a serious exerciser --- that explains your lovely downward trend. And step classes sound a lot more fun than working out on your own.

trishn232: Hey! 1.4 pounds gone --- that's the way to make this happen! I like your resolve not to repeat last week's snafu --- we gotta learn from our mistakes.

I am down 1 pound to 254. I am going to have to get my tush in gear to keep up with all of you! Let's all take a minute and wave good-bye to the pounds that we have already evicted and then call out the next pounds on our hit list.

Have a great day everyone!
