I'm down .4 today! I was worried because my sodium intake yesterday was way higher than normal. I had Quiznos and then a bunch of samples while we were at Whole Foods. We got some really really yummy cheeses though. I am having some with my lunch today and I can't wait! They were out of TVP though and won't get any until Wednesday! But I did get some more red wheat! That stuff is so yummy it is just ridiculous. We also got a jicama, which I had never had. I peeled it and cut it up for dinner. Hubby wanted his raw, but I wamed mine with a little lemon lime salt and a dash of chili powder and it was awesome!

I hope that everyone who gets a long weekend is enjoying it, but not TOO much! Happy President's Day or Family Day or Today Day!

Time2loseit - Yay whoosh!

Diana - Your little calories in + always makes me Congrats on the scale behaving nicely. I'm sorry you're still not sleeping well. I hope you can get the meds sorted soon.

Angie - Yay whoosh! Congrats on doing well with the company over. I hope dinner out goes well too. Maybe you could request it not be Boston Pizza? .2's not much, and it'll be back off in no time anyhow.

Bulletproof - Yay whoosh!

Athena - Ya gotta love when the scale surprises you in a good way!

Willow - I think if you encourage her to workout in order to be strong and healthy rather than just to lose weight or keep from gaining then it will help her self esteem and not damage her psyche. I think family trips o the gym are an awesome idea and will help to instill a great healthy habit.

Eclipse - Congrats on the .6 and on being in the 160s.

Vixsin - Grrrr scale It'll go back down though, not to worry. Congrats on doing so well with the buffet even though you hadn't really eaten all day!

Starbrite - Yay for waterweight whoosh!

fitkristi - Welcome back to Onederland. Sit, stay a while!

Matilda - Yay, a good weekend!

Asherdoodle - Sometimes life throws us curve balls. Now that you are ready to get back to plan those 5 pounds will be lost in no time and you can start sending their friends away too.

172 again... I have to go down at some point. It's going to feel so good getting into the 160's.

Hello, ladies!! I've officially decided to start exercising. I bought Walk It Out for the Wii — it should come tomorrow, and I'm going to start walking at least half and hour or 45 minutes a day. I'm a little skeptical about whether that'll actually make a difference, but I figure anything should help.

eclipse, congrats on officially having fled the 170s!

Angie, nice job cooking a healthier option. I tend to use company as an excuse to make "normal" (aka horribly unhealthy) food.

starbrite, nice woosh!!!

Diana, CONGRATS on the new low!!

Matilda, congrats for getting back to 218!

Asher, so sorry about your loss

FitGirlyGirl, your trip to whole foods is making me hungry!!

Paradisefalls -- Me too, I use company as an excuse sometimes to cook something not at all on plan, that's why I was so excited, that PLUS they really liked it and everyone had seconds (except me! lol)

Fitgirl -- We decided on another Italian place because kids eat free today, but I've look ahead on the menu and picked out stuff that will come to about 700-800 calories and is on plan (chicken/salad basically) that I will still enjoy.

Congratulations to everyone who lost weight or made a healthy choice for food or exercise today!!

Paradise: Great job on deciding to exercise! If you walk for 30-45 mins a day, you will see a difference. Cardio is a great way to jump start things. I did the same thing. I started with a little cardio just to get moving. It makes a difference and it also will help you branch out into other exercises. Great job!!!

So....I am ELATED to report that the gain I received from Chinese buffet yesterday was only .4!!! So I'm only up to 208.8. I am so happy!!!!!! I guess all that water I chugged really helped! I feel so triumphant. I have been totally on plan today and am not worried about it for the rest of the day.

Not much exercise for me today other than house cleaning and I have to shovel the sidewalk from the little snow we got this morning. In weirder news, my pecs are SUPER sore today. HUH?!?!?! I can't figure out why. Bizarre.

Hi Everyone!

I've been thinking about my goal weight again. Saturday when when I went to pick up my friend to meet our DH's for dinner, her daughter was at the house. Her daughter is a nurse and my age. She informed me that I don't need to lose another ounce. My friend said the same thing. The main thing that they mentioned is that I don't want to look too thin though the face and upper body. I have had a lot of people tell me this recently when I tell them that I have a couple more pounds to lose. My DH says to do whatever I want. When I am happy, he's happy. My goal is to stay within a range of 155-160.

Should I even be trying to get to 155? What are you opinions on this?

As you know, I am going to the Endo tomorrow. I am going to ask her opinion. If I recall, I am within the range she wanted.

I am trying to figure out, is there a reason to lose to 155? Especially if I am wanting to stay within a range and the middle of that range is 157-158.

Opinions please! Let me hear them! Why is the simplest things such a PITA for me? Also, I would probably already be at 155 if I was getting the proper sleep.

Starbrite Great job on the 2.6 pounds!

Kristi Great job on the 1.5 and for being back in Onederland!

Ona Hi

Hi Diana!

And I didn't think much of it when I put my jeans on this morning but the rest of my pants are in the wash so I grabbed a pair from the back of my closet (no comments on my terrible house cleaning skills, I'm a career woman). Today I went to the ladies room and I suddenly realized... These pants don't fit! These used to be TIGHT on me, they were the 'booty jeans' because I knew they would hug my bottom and thighs. Now it looks like my butt is sagging because they are loose! Sucks that I realized this at work because I can't really change but ... yay!

Madame You have the dreaded no-a$$-at-all disease! I had that last week! I finally bought a couple pairs of jeans. I just couldn't stand that look much longer. I knew I had some booty in there somewhere.

Dianna I say go to where you are comfortable. If you are comfortable here, then stop and work on maintaining. Maybe getting to 155 will give you a little more cushion? I mean only you know where you will be happy in the end.

Eclipse - you are doing great girl!

Madame - I have the saggy booty syndrome happening with my pants too. Unfortunately I usually fill them back out, but hoping to break that habit for good.

That's about all I remember right now to respond too lol bbl
