I'm down .2 today, 186.6. I'd have loved to continue my little .6 streak, but I'll take .2 all the same

I hope everyone's weekend is going well and that you are all on plan or at least only as off plan as you planned for

quantum - glad you are doing ok. Take it easy as you continue to heal, I'm thinking the lack of yoga and weight lifting is a good idea. You could maybe do some of the yoga moves that don't require you to put weight on your hand and arm - that way you keep your body from getting to stiff on you. Congrats on the scale going down in spite of it all. Very gentle

CoCo - Yay Whoosh!

Kukkie - I'm glad things went well with the move. I hope the elliptical shopping went well too. I wish I had room for an elliptical, but with a treadmill already ... sigh!

Paradise - Congrats on dropping even after the Mexican food. I think most people need a break sometimes and as long as it doesn't snowball, it is certainly better than letting yourself get so frustrated that you wanna give up. Plus stress hinders weight loss and being frustrated with the same old food all the time can be stressful.

Eclipse - on the new low. I hope the potluck didn't mess with it too much. Congrats on avoiding temtations. I'm sorry your tummy is still not 100%.

Ophelia - for me it depends on the type of exercise, but that does happen. It'll go back down, hang in there! Don't give up the exercise. It can make the scale frustrating, but you get used to that and it is soooo worth it!

Athena - That sounds like a good plan. I wish they sold jerky too! I love jerky! Now you have given me a jerky craving.

Starbrite - Sorry about the scale, but we know it's just water from party foods and such, not to worry. You look cute in your tiny dress!

Oh, I forgot my weigh in, I lost 2.8, so I'm hovering just 2oz above the two-teens. I'm going to do my best today, I will eat in moderation, but we are having company so I'm not preparing the meal I would have if it was just a normal day. Hopefully all the cleaning I need to do before they get here will give me a bit of a calorie buffer.

Time 2 Lose It -- Congrats on your whoosh!

Diana -- Morning! Congrats on your .6!

I was not expecting to lose anything overnight because I was hungrier yesterday than typical, and so consequently ate more. So I'll take it.

quantumsheep: Glad you're back! Hope the bruises heal quick. Ouch!

CocoMonkey: Yeah for the whoosh! For all we put up with as women, we deserve a nice whoosh.

Kukkie: Congrats on the new place - I am super impressed by the quitting smoking anniversary. You go, girl!

fitkristi: I bet you'll see a nice whoosh in a couple of days so hang in there. One of the perils of daily weighing, but I prefer it.

opheliaphoenix: I definitely have noticed in the past weight going up after a very hard workout - especially strength work. It makes me wonder sometimes on the Biggest Loser when in the timeline the "last chance workout" is. Is it the day before? 2 days before? Morning of? Who knows?

Starbrite: Love the dress! You look great.

Well, signed an 18mos contract at Anytime fitness. Signed up me, my hubby and 13 year old So we are going to (hopefully) make it a nightly family outing. My daughter is right about 5 ft and weighs 109lbs - she has a tiny bit of belly, but I think she has a really cute shape but she's already doing the whole "oh my thighs are fat, oh I have a fat belly'. Such a bad age. So Im going to let her take control by going to the gym. If she wants to lose weight, she will have the tools. Hope im giving the right message, the last thing I want to do is mess with the fragile psyche of a 13 year old female.

Bulletproof heart -- You're doing great! You've lost 9 lbs already for February and we still have a week to go -- awesome job!

Time2LoseIt -- Thanks!

Athena -- Good job on your loss

Willow -- I think it's fine to take your DD to the gym...won't it be great if she develops a love for exercise at her age?

Afternoon, ladies! I looked at a calendar today and found that there are 13 weeks until my cousin's wedding. I had originally set my goal at 225 for the wedding, which means I'd have to lose 3 pounds per week until then...I'm not sure if it's possible, but it would feel really great if I could do it. So this is me officially saying my goal is 3 pounds per week! Time to become my own /

1: 274.8
2: 273.8
3: 275
4: 271.2 (-1.2)
5: 270.4
6: 270
7: 268.8
8: 267.8
9: 268.8
10: 268.2
11: 267.8 (-3.4)
12: 268
13: 269.4
14: 270.6
15: 267.4
16: 267.6
17: 265.2
18: 264 (-3.8)
19: 263.8
20: 264 :/

starbrite, cute outfit!!

Diana, congrats on the drop!

time2loseit and Angie, nice matching wooshes!!

Willowgirl, I think giving her a gym membership is great. I wish my mom had encouraged me to exercise back when it wasn't about weight. When I got older and I WAS fat, I got mad when she suggested it.

My weekend check in! Wow, TOM makes so much sense why I was retaining water all week, why i wanted chocolate, and why I was SO hard on myself. I knew it was getting to be TOM time, but didn't realize completely THATS what the problem was, other than having sinus sickness.

This week is a new week! I am so excited about losing weight and spring and what I am trying to accomplish, the BIG picture. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Tomorrow we are off work because of presidents day.

Hubby and I are cleaning out the garage and cleaning up all the sticks in the backyard this weekend. Should be tons of fun. The last weekend of Grease is next weekend, and then I dont have to commit to being up at the Theatre every single night. Life is looking up! 235 here I come!
