My weight is 186.8, exactly the same as yesterday. I hate it when it does that. I think it annoys me more than the little blips up that happen. I have no idea why.

I'm about to head out to the gym and then home to try my hand at making sugar free meringue cookies. I hope I can do this because hubby really wants lemon and we can't find lemon in sugar free. I get my weight class and my Zumba back today The silly gym cancelled all classes on Monday for President's Day, I say the presidents would want us to be healthy! I can't complain too much though since the base does provide me with a free gym, including classes.

Diana - I have noticed the societal thing your doc is talking about. My husband is 5'8" and bounces around in 175-180, so he's just into the overweight category. He's in the air force, so this is not good and he has to do something about it. We have friends who look at him and genuinely think he must already be underweight and that the air force is completely insane. There's also this idea that many women get that after you are not a teenager anymore it's impossible. This one lady asked me what my goal was and when I told her I wanted size 4 jeans, she literally told me that was impossible at my age and I should just give up. She was obese herself of course and wanted me to sit down and eat cheesecake with her. I just told her that there are a lot of over 30 size 2s and 4s that would disagree with her and walked away. I like your docs plan. You know what you are doing is healthy, so I think keeping on keeping and and seeing what happens is a good plan.

Kukkie - A good chunk of that is water weight from high sodium foods, I'm sure. I know it's still disheartening, but your kitchen is set up now and you have no need for takeout or other people's food, so time to get back to it. You're already headed back down and will be getting new lows in no time!

Eclipse - on being 120 down!

Carter - Congrats and welcome to onederland!

Starbrite - on 120 lost!

I need to wake up.. or learn to subtract one lol
I put that I had lost 18.8 in my siggy and it was wrong.. It's 17.2 So I decided to get a ticker.
Oh well i'm not down 18 yet but I will get there! hmm I see the tickers rounds up/down.. LOL Yay 18 he he
edited to say I felt like I was cheating so I changed the ticker type to weight change instead of weight. It rounded down instead of up so now I feel better lol

after yet another crappy few days I am still holding at 171.
I don't know if this is luck or subconsciously doing what I need to not gain . . . . I do know I should be below that tomorrow. TMI - but weighing in without is sure to make it a little higher . . . I would think . . . .

Anyways, looks like a smooth rest of the month ahead for me, no added stressors, lost a few stressors, made out an eating plan i will stick to and have downloaded an APP for my ipod for . . . Couch 2 5k . . . . EEEEESSSSSHHHHH!!!!

Wish me luck

I'll catch up on some reading and bbl for peronals, looks like everyone is kickin some butt

Down 1 to 207.4!!! Buh-bye water weight!!! HELLO new low!!!!! (thank you, scale. )

Great workout last night. 20 min run at 5.0 and then 15 mins of hardcore incline walking. After watching the Biggest Loser though, I felt that my workout was half-a$$ed. Going to the gym tonite too. Planning on incline walking for 45 mins. BTW, I am really loving incline walking!!!!! I just feel so strong while doing it. I guess there's something about walking up big hills.

I've gotta scoot right now and get some work done. I'll catch up on personals at lunch time. Have a wonderful morning everyone!!!!!!!

Quick edit for Coon: ROCK ON with your C25K!!! I just graduated last month. It's an amazing program!!! You will love it!!

Shylah,You're still here, have the desire and that means a lot.One day,Something gonna click inside you and your whole mentality will change about what you put in your mouth and you'll look at food differently. When you get to a point of being sick and tired of being where you are then you will dig deep, fight and claw your way to get it done.

A person said to me the other day.."i just don't see how you just keep going" I said..If you wanted a car, house or a pair of pricey new shoes..you're gonna make sacrifices, have to moan a little, suffer a little but in the end you'll get what you want.Wanting to look good and be healthy..same principle.

And even when you ARE saving for a nice house or car, after you've learn to save,it get easier.Just like losing weight, learning how to eat healthier gets easier over time

Time2loseit,you're gonna get there anyway

Coon, you're doing great!! you've hung tough and still here! ....C25k

Sept15lija,fantastic job

Coon - Have fun with C25K - I am going to start that soon! I started it a while back, then stopped. Gotta get going with it again!

OnaMi - You are so right, it does get easier with time! It just becomes second nature, and the results are so worth it.

Vixsin - Sounds like you're doing great!! And don't compare yourself with BL people, losing weight is their full time job and we just don't have that luxury!
