Hello Ladies. I am ready to join your thread and hopefully get out of the 190's soon.
Yesterday I weighed in at 194 so I am getting close. For some reason the low 200's and 190's have been a struggle. I am losing every week, but just more slowly. At the first of the year I increased the amount of time for each workout and lowered my calories to 1,600 in order to provide that extra push. What I have noticed is when I work out harder during a seven-day period, I lose less (too strange). So I thought I would trick my body this week by cutting back on the duration of my daily workouts. I will let you know if this experiment works.
Goal: We are having unusually warm weather this week too. It's in the 50's today! Feels like spring. I know winter isn't done with us yet, though...so I'm trying not to get too used to it!
Laff: congrats on the 2 lb loss!
Toonses: I feel you! Seemed to take forever for me to cross into onderland (sat at 200-202 forever, it seemed). And now my body doesn't seem to want to let me out of the 190's. I get to 189.something, then back up to 190. UGH! I too really need to start experimenting. I'm generally still going in a downward direction, but it's very slow these past couple months.

I'm say bye bye here... I think I'm securely out of the 190s
Weighed myself at 189 this morning while PMSing (hateful cramps.) and TOM starts tomorrow. So, safe to say I'm out!
HI girls... I am lower in the 190s but still here. Hopefully tomorrow I will see 191. I saw it this morning... but I make myself see it two mornings in a row before I call the pound gone.
I guess Northern Exposure and thaisccs is going to move on to greener pastures... hope I get to follow~
toonses- i am totally interested in your experiment... how has cutting back your workout done for you?
I am eager to get out of the 190s! Even though I've only been in onederland for the first time I can remember for just about 9 days now. I'm down about 3 pounds in the same time period, so I guess I'm on my way. 196 at home this morning, 195.8 on my gym's more precise scale.
I am still on the 190's. 192. Yesterday I saw 191 and for some reason it was gone this monring. Don't know why as I was on plan and everything. But, that's okay. I'll stick the the plan and hopefully see 191 tomorrow morning!
I like to be here a lot on Saturdays. It keeps me from munching when we are at home.
I have been losing weight at a very slow pace since Christmas. It has been coming off, but painfully slow. This past week I decided to add a few more calories every other day (normal daily caloric intake 1,600) and backed off on the length of my workouts. I weigh every Monday and was surprised to see a 4 pound weight loss this morning. You never know what is going to work and who knows if this loss will continue into next week, but it pumped me up to see I am getting closer and closer to my long-term goal.
Height: 5'2" (really 5'1 1/4" ( but I refuse to accept that - I don't care what the doctor says!)
Hi Everyone - Congrats to you that are in the 180's thread! I hope to get there one day soon and I WILL! Cold & snowy (AGAIN!) here today. Can you tell that I am tired of winter & want spring? It will come sooner or later I know - just want it now. No news from me so I'll catch up you all later. Keep on keeping on, eh?
Monday Weigh In - Still 191.5 which is ok. I am really happy with that since I thought the four-pound weight loss last week was a gimmick.
Every other month I take my body measurements. Since January 1st I loss 2 inches off my waist, 2 inches off my hips, 1 inch off my thighs, 2 inches off my bust and 1/2 inch off my upper arms. I have loss almost ten pounds since January 1st, but the loss in inches is more amazing to me.
Toonses, I love the measurements too, way more impressive than anything the scales can tell me! Well done on your losses, not long until you'll be out of here
I'll be joining you guys. I'm currently 194 so I'm hoping it will be a short lived visit.
I had a miscarriage over the weekend at 12 weeks so I'm trying to lose weight quickly (ok, I don't tend to lose too quickly but you get the point) to get down to a healthy BMI before we try again. I won't be able to exercise for about 2 weeks so I'm going to try and watch what I eat in the meantime.
