I got my eating back on track today, after a few days of being kinda on/kinda off...not out of control or bad, but not on strictly on plan either...but today it wasn't even hard! It's our busy day as running the kids around, and usually I have trouble with passing up the quick drive through, but it wasn't even an issue tonight. Maybe it's because I am super focused on making it through Thanksgiving week with a LOSS...for ONCE I won't gain this week!

This morning, I pulled DH's coat out of the closet and put it on without realizing it. It wasn't until I checked my pockets for my keys that I realized it wasn't my coat.

Oh yeah, DH wears a men's small....

Buying running shoes use to take eons! I could only buy Nike... then they went wider in styles and with those air pockets in the heels (not stable enough for me) so I tried rebok who have always been too wide and they now make a narrower line too!

Dress shoes are surprisingly hard too... those "ballet slipper" style actually make my feet look really wide... But still fall off.

I have to wear Reebok's if I want a good fitting tennis shoe and finding a good one in a size 2 is almost impossible.

Last time I bought runnign shoes was the best. I have big feet (long & slim) but I just brought in my old shoes that I liked & said "I like these" & they had the same ones, same size, everything! It was awesome!

Today I finished putting together all the upper cabinets for my kitchen!

A two in little kids. I have to say I have never seen a man with a foot that small. It is pretty easy at back to school sales for me to find shoes. Once I knock down all those darn monsters trying to buy up all the size twos lol

Haven't really had an NSV to share for a while, but this one I wanted to post!

DD15 just left for school......wearing MY new Polo jacket!!!! Now, sharing a great new (expensive) piece of clothing would have never been on my list of things to cheer about in the past, but DD is a size 0, and the jacket is a small, and she could actually borrow something from me and wear it as opposed to using it for a tent. Wow. Hard to wrap my brain around! Now the disgusting part is that while it's this way cute little zip up thing, she put it on with cut off hole-y MSU sweats and a cami and looked like she should be on a magazine cover....I don't ever remember looking that good at 15, and I was a size 5 then!

It must be harder for dress shoes though... Mind you even those now come with some serious options!

I lost another 2" this week around the gut - woohoo! Also, while I was at herbal magic I was chatting with the ladies about my upcoming lifting competition (I'm soooo excited!) & saying I was glad there was not squatting as I'm no good at it. I said "you'd think with how big my backend is I'd be able to squat better" & 3 at once exclaimed "you're NOT big in the backend". One went on to say I was tiny in my butt & legs. LOL - as if! But it was nice to see their shocked faces that I thought my backend is big.

Also, my DH comes home this Sat. after being gone for over a month & this morning I figured out I've lost 12lbs & 13" since he's been gone. I can't wait for him to see me!

Just got back from the gym & had a great workout. Rowed 2 (of 3) great, fast 250m rows, my squats are really improving & my trainer made several comments about my strength really improving. Feel great!

Plus, when we were discussing my nutrition I told him about how when I went to Wendy's last night for a salad & got there & all they had were the tiny salads without chicken & I was so disappointed & irritated. He asked what I did & when I told him I ate the little salad & then went home & had some protein he said "That's awesome willpower!" - That was just the best compliment he could have given me - really made me feel proud.

I am down 1lb. today. that makes me not want to gain it back even though I am cooking enough to feed a army today.

Nice going. You are so right. All we go thru to lose it why would we ever want to gain it back. Is the reason this is a journey not a pit stop to lose weight.
