Man oh man oh man oh man!!!! You did it! You put into words what I've been trying to tell people for a year or more. I CAN HAVE anything I want, what I CHOOSE to have is a whole different ballgame! Way to go!

Happy Birthday Lifeguard!!

My NSV for today was I woke up tired and was briefly tempted to sleep in. Normally, they're an extended battle (at least one snooze alarm's worth) when I'm this tired as to whether I'd go to the gym. After debating it for about a minute, I got up & went to the gym.

Happy Birthday Lifeguard!!

My NSV is that I went to my daughter's thanksgiving lunch at the school and ordered the chef salad as planned...and I packed one of those sald spritzer bottles in my bag and didn't take their dressing. I also had my water bottle with me. My daughter ended up barely touching her school turkey meal because she was eating my salad with me! I told her she can ask for the salad anyday wants it at lunch, and she said she is going to next week. I feel like I set a good example for her and it felt really good. Everyone was saying the school lunch was not worth the $3 they charged for it anyway

Earlier in the summer, my wedding rings were falling off my finger so I decided to buy a temporary silver ring in place of my wedding rings. Well recently that ring has been falling off my finger so I decided to order a ring online, size 8. I then felt wary because reviews of other rings of that site said that their rings were sized too small. So I was nervous. Anyway, I got the ring, it was beautiful but looking at it I knew it was way too small. It was so small and dainty, but I decided to try it on to see what size I should replace it with. Well... it fit... perfectly.

At my highest weight, I used to wear a size 12, now I'm wearing a size 8 and possibly a small size 8.

Wow Nelie - that is AWESOME!!! 4 sizes - I'm impressed!

I just picked up my wedding rings from being resized yesterday (from a 9 to 8) & I'm so pleased they fit perfectly & they cleaned them so they are so shiny & pretty!!! I've been showing everyone!

I am envious of the loss of ring sizes ladies! Congrats.

I was a 5... went to a 7 (then a tight 7) and am back to a comfortable 7...

It was extra nice too 'cause about 2 years ago I got a crack in the back of my engagement ring that progressed to a full out break. I've been waiting to have it repaired until it's resized. My understanding of resizing is they cut a chunk out of the back & then soder (spelling?) in a new piece of gold.

Today I deadlifted 285lbs again. Tried to do 295 but stumbled (literally my trainer tried to catch me - lol). But it feels good to know my max lift is solid. Plus my form is getting stronger.

My NSV for today is that I blew lunch (unscheduled lunch at a Chinese restaurant). Might sound like an odd NSV, but I am going to take my own advice that I don't have to be perfect. One off-plan meal is not going to destroy my plans and hardwork. I will not feel guilty or beat myself up.

I am going to eat dinner on plan and run again in the morning and lunch will be but a blip on the radar.

Shy,

Wow, I'd be scared to lose that!

When I bought my rings, the engagement was a size 7, sized up to 9.5. The band was a special order because I liked a ring they had in gold but not platinum, so they made it in platinum for me. Now I'm wondering if both of them will be size 7 once I lose more weight.

Shy,

I meant the setting, even though it does seem secure, it'd worry me if I wore that every day I am sure the tension setting is secure though. I was actually worried about my ring when we got it because I asked DH what would happen if I lost the diamond or the ring, he just shrugged and said we'd get another.
