Uh...not sure of the actual name spelled out...but basically a hormone that is secreted by pregnant women that helps the body loose fat w/o hunger...taken as a shot or homeopathic mix...along w/ a low calorie diet -500 calories a day.....fast weight loss, harder to maintain and follow the protocol in month long phases. I lost weight but always gained it back because I couldn't maintain...and while on the protocol, I was Constantly obsessing about the food, the diet, everything...I was a nut job!

Thanks for clarifying Lulu -- pregnant women go through all kinds of hormonal/emotional stuff. I can't imagine people wanting to get injected with that. I'm picturing the "pickles and ice cream diet" now that you explained it!

i tried HCG.. very little success. I am in third week of IP 6 pounds down !!!!
So far so good.....except Fathers Day challenge was someone brought brownies. So wish I hadn't eaten them.
Bad habits that need to stop. Need more self control
today is day to get back on track

Hey my lovlies! I was up with the birds this morning!Literally! LOL I'm having such a wonderful time and feeling great! Father's day was a on plan success for me whoop whoop! I won out over my Daughter's fabulous pasta salad and fruit salad..yea baby!

IP43~ Awe well thank you for that Yes, I am a Grandma, the newest babies make number 5 and 6! Our oldest Granddaughter is 12. Love them all to the moon! You know, I still am a 90 percenter. I did read back on that post of mine in the 90% thread but pretty much still feel that way. My cheats are still pretty much what few things I mentioned. But that is as far as my "cheats" will ever go. I don't even consider that cheating, but "technically" ..yea I know. But I'm 100% fine with those choices I am making for myself.

I am very proud for sticking to my guns while on this vacation. This is a first for me. And very eye opening. Waking up feeling great and ready to go with energy. I now know that I can make this a lifestyle change. Very pleased with myself!

Happy Monday everyone. I successfully made it through the weekend with no cheats. I was very worried that I would blow it but I didn't. I attended a pizza and cake party, not a bite. I am a happy girl today. I feel great and very happy for my progress. One day at a time for me but feeling empowered today. WI tomorrow😊😊

I also tried hcg and thought it was awful. I didn't feel well and couldn't stick to it. I can do IP though

Hi all
I could not find the old chat, so went back to my old posts and found it had moved to this one. So, how do I save this thread to my favorites, so I can find it?
I had my weigh in today and am down 2 more lbs Feels great! I also got my ticker today! That seems like such a big deal...

good trip and good luck AZLinda. I find this plan easier to follow when Im in charge of meals. Other peoples homes and restaurants are quite the challenge. I hope to gain inspiration from others on thread. I have a girls weekend coming up ... lots of snacks, eating out and wine!!! fun but tough

Morning all, I had my week 5 weigh in yesterday, Lost abt 1.5 lbs, TOM, dont know how that affected it, but I am still a happy girl. I cheated a bit last week, had a small whole wheat roll. I plan to be stronger this week. Is anyone excersing! I read some where you could excersie after week 3 but my coach( whom I dont like very much) keeps getting upset about me exercising. Does anyone know how many calories total you consume a day in phase 1?
