I tried on some clothes at WalMart too. I am used to buying all the tops in 26/28. So I tried on a sweater. OMG is was swimming huge on me. So I tried on the 22/24. It was a bit big on me! I tried on the 18/20 (I cannot remember the last time I fit into that size) and it FIT. It's snug but fit. I didn't buy it, just wanted to see

Also I tried on the white t-shirt that I took my "before" photos in, back in July. The shirt actually is loose on me and sort of hangs around my waist and belly, instead of being stretched to the limit like the skin on an italian sausage like it used to be! Wow!

Isn't it WONDERFUL!? I wore a size 16/18 sweater to church last night..I never thought that possible, because I've always been so "top heavy" (if you know what I mean, lol), but it fit!

I'm still on cloud 9 over it!

Cassie
That is wonderful

I have been in size 18 forever. Now all the 18s are falling off me and I have to wear the 16's. I have found a lot of my large sweaters fit and the 16/18's fit too. I got rid of all the stuff that was to big.

Lyn
That is just to great. I get my clothes used I am not paying big bucks for clothes that are only going to fit for a few months lol.

I'm a golfer. It's what my husband and I do all weekend, rain or shine, hot or cold. We also always wear shorts, no matter how bad the weather. We're kind of famous at our local course for being idiots about it.

Well it was miserable yesterday morning but we're there in our shorts when a woman came up to me to kid me about freezing to death. She said there used to be another woman who always wore shorts but that she was "a big woman" and she hadn't seen her around in awhile. That was me! She literally didn't recognize me. She was also pretty embarassed because she had called me a big woman but I just thanked her. Then of course she wanted to know how I had done it and we spent 20 minutes talking diet and exercise.

It really made my day.

That's awesome Robin!!!

Today I did a max lift on bench press - 110lbs!!! Apparently my trainer wants to find out what my 3 lift total is (bench, deadlift & squat). I'm at 400lbs so far - so we'll see how squats go later this week.

I think the following qualifies as a NSV..
In the past, I would get to how I am feeling now, and give up, go back to eating everything, and not exercising, and stop posting here. Well not this time. I am having a real hard time on the weekends, but I am not giving up this time. I have not stopped exercising, I still come here,I stay on plan food wise as much as possible. I am going to overcome this and do this, but I am not giving up as I have in the past. I am stronger than that weak person.

That is just great. Just because we stumble does not mean we have to fall. You stick with it. You should be proud of yourself. Sometimes making ourself do something we don't feel like doing is very rewarding.

This evening I went to play dodgeball but we went out to a bar beforehand. So I decided to dress decently for the bar & thought it would be funny to wear a skirt ('cause a friend not a skirt when I asked what to wear for dodgeball).

Anyway, I put on this jean skirt that I have been wearing for a long time. But it was so tight at first it was barely passable & I thought it was just fitting nice now. But I looked down & realized the skirt fit like a potato sack & was no longer a sexy knee skimmer but well below the knee & looking kind of raggy.

I don't know why but I found it freakin' hilarious & laughed out loud for about 10 minutes. One more item in the give away pile!

I did not need a seat belt extender on my flight this weekend. That felt good.

I gardened for 8 hours yesterday. I cut the lawn, raked leaves, re-cut in the border, dug over all the soiled areas, cleaned and generally tidied

This time last year it would have exhausted me way before everything was finished. Yes my muscles ache today (bending over is proving to be a bit of a challenge lol) and I'm a pound up but I'm guessing that's water retention

Yay for the neat gardens lol

I went to a birthday party for my BFF's little girl over the weekend. We don't see each other nearly enough anymore, and she hasn't seen me in about 15-20 pounds. She laughed, smiled, hugged me and exclaimed "I've NEVER seen you this size before!" When I stopped to think about it she was right....I met her two weeks after my DS17 was born, and I was easily 30 pounds or so heavier than I am right now. What a lightbulb moment!

So, I randomly try on certain clothes to see how they fit. I tried on a prom dress I wore last March. It was still tight in my stomach to my dismay. I put it on today and it's loose EVERYWHERE. I woke my mom up just to tell her. I can't wait till March and I get a new one in a smaller size.
