Hello all. Jennifer, I really hope you have a better day today and find some resolution. That all really sucks. Figure out what will be best for you and your family. I will sent positive thoughts your way.

My eating over the last two days sucked. I went out for dinner with my friend on Wednesday. I ate too much corn bread and had pasta for dinner.

Yesterday I ate two really thick sugar cookies (iced) from the store. I took them into my son's class. Couldn't leave two in the container.

Funny thing is yesterday I got on the scale in the am as I always do. It read 170.8. OH my!!! so close to getting out of the 170's. Then this morning when I did my usual scale ritual it said 172.2. Man! What a few bad days in a row can do. My energy this morning at the gym was minimal. I work out so much better when I don't eat crappy. Will be good today and will try to figure out how to get through Super Bowl Sunday on points. Basically I used my 35 points I normally use on the weekend over Wednesday and Thursday. This could be an interesting weekend for me. Let's see how I do.

Today:
oatmeal 3pts

meager work out burned only 230 calories. Better than none I suppose.

just finished up with lunch. Man! I want to eat!!!! Maybe PMS hit later than normal. I really want to consume some groceries.

after the gym I shared a bag of 100 cal cheetos with DS. I am not counting them. I know my workout was at least a point.

lunch
hot ham and cheese 3pts
cheetos (AGAIN) 2pts

That's 8 so far today.

I read a thread started regarding whole foods. I really would love to incorporate this into my WW. I just don't know how to live without stuff like the 100 cal packs and my Crystal Light. ????? Baby steps. Maybe I will get there some day.

Wow! I hope the lack of activity this weekend on our thread does not show a lack of eating well. I did okay over the weekend. By this I mean I don't think I gained any weight. However, I did not count points. Just tried to do okay. Scale this A.M. showed straight up 172.

Today

Breakfast
oatmeal are you all surprised??? 3pts

work out at gym with trainer burned 253 calories.

snack
ak-mak crackers 2pts
laughing cow 1pt

Fitbyforty. Thank you! Can't tell you how much I needed that. I am just back from my meeting. I am up a pound. Oh well, I will try to do better. I had to cancel the gym for tomorrow. My four year old is sick AGAIN!!! He is coughing so bad. DH took him to a pediatric urgent care while I weighed in. He has to have breathing treatments every four hours. I hope for a year we can go without using that darn machine. Makes me ill. Anyway, I am going to eat a high point boston market dinner and call it a night. --Amy

I had wi today,and was down 1lb.
My friend called me last night, she's taking a spinning class at the local gym. Does anyone have experience w/these types of classes? I'm alittle nervous about joining her, not sure I'm up for that type of challenge. She takes the class 1x week, and then works out the other days on the machines...I won't join the gym, as I go to Curves...but thought maybe just join that class?

AJsMommy,
Good job on losing this week.I started spinning in Dec.I love it.It is a great workout and you go at your own pace, set the tension on your bike.Work as hard as you want and if you tire slow it down.I burn 700 calories in an hour doing it.One thing, the searts are hard on the butt.I bought a gelseat for my bike at home and now I use it on the spinning bike. It's a lot of fun.

Holy crap fitbyforty. Nice work out! So wish I could. Wish I had the time, wish I had the determination. I am so not doing well. My son is stressing me out. Almost went to ER last night. The cough was not stopping even after breathing treatments. I asked the Dr via phone if we could do more breathing treatments, she said no. Over use can result in lung collapse. Let's just say it was a rough night. He seems to be doing better today. I took him for a STAT x ray earlier. They should have done one at urgent care. Anyway, I wanted to get him a treat, so we went to McDonald's for lunch. I even bought him a McFlurry. He came to me and said he was done and didn't even want his McFlurry. So, I finished off his fries, 1 nugget, and now his McFlurry. What is my problem???? Could be stress. MIL is coming tonight too. Yeah, it's stress. Anyway, I will check back later.

Jennifer, do the spinning class. They are so fun. It will give you a jump start on wanted to eat well and keep it up. It always does for me. I too have to slow things down a bit though. They "go through the sand" and my bike is more like going over hard dirt. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
