I went over today by 1 point, but I guess it's okay since there wasn't many times this week I even reached my 28 allowance. I also didn't workout today since I started on Sunday-Thursday, and plan to work out only 5 days a week!!
Ugh.. Tomorrow should be interesting. Dh insists on going on my FAVE place for breakfast - Shoneys!!! they have the FAMOUS yummy breakfast bar.. and I dunno what to do. Yeah I could limit myself, but I LOVE their food.. and afriad I'm just gonna fail myself. Any hints from yall on how I can keep it low?? On the breakfast buffet.......use some of your flex points. You get 35 per week. pre plan dinner and lunch before you go. maybe if you want a real low dinner, have your subway again. You will be fine. Don't deprive yourself and not go. Tis better to go now than when you are not doing so well and really over do it. You'll be fine. Best of luck. Wish me luck on not having cake and ice cream at the three birthday parties we are going to this weekend.

Ugh!! Just checking in, we are back from breakfast-just waiting for this place to open, so we are at the work office for the time being. I totally let myself down today.. the FIRST and ONLY day I will ever do this!!! I never thought I'd feel so bad.. but now I feel like such a failure to myself and it's nto a good feeling at all. Maybe it's what I needed to do to remind myself of how much I want my goal.. and to set my eyes that much more opened for it ?? Oh well.... nothing else for me today to eat but my water and maybe a light, light dinner!!! Not a GOOD way to start my day!!!
IT'S OKAY!!!! Turn those negative feelings into your positive attitudes. We all have those days. If we didn't we would not remember why we are doing this, why we want it so badly, or even why it is best for our health. The most difficult thing for me is getting over feeling bad. Most of us probably don't eat too well when we mentally don't feel well. Go back and look at your success OR go find some before and after picks on this site. That helps me a ton.
I managed to do well at the three parties last night and today. Just about 1/2 a piece of cake last night. None today. I ate two slices of cheese pizza for lunch today at one party.

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was good other than the fact that I played all weekend so I had to work late last night and early this morning. Did you guys hear? Phoenix got snow yesterday. It has been down right chilly around here. I was born here and this is one of the coldest winters I have seen in a very long time. Anyway, I did not count points all weekend but ate fairly well. I am very excited to weigh in tomorrow. I haven't eaten anything yet today. This is not on purpose, but because of lack of time. I am going to have a sandwich, chips, and a salad for lunch. Thinking about chili for dinner since it is so cold out. Will check in later. Have a good one. --Amy

K for Dinner I had salsbury steak w/ mac and cheese = 5 pts, 1 cup of green beans = 0 pts., and bread = 1 pt. That's a total of only 6 pts for dinner, brings me to 16 pts for the day!!! Hmmm.. I may have a snack later on with a rice cake or 2 with peanut butter on them (6 pts if I eat 2), that will be 22 pts. Still to low!!!
What kind of chips do you eat that are so low in points?
I get the Lays-light, that are half the calories of reg. chips!! I actually get them and before I put them away and up, I count out 20 chips (or however many of them are in a serving) and put in separate baggies so they are ready for me to grab and I know I can't overeat that way with them. lol They taste just like reg. chips too!!!
That's the way I am too, trust me!! That's why I MAKE myself do the portions right when I go to put the groceries up!! If not, it'll never get done and I'll guess and well, the whole bag would be GONE!
