Good Late Afternoon Everyone

Today, I'm a 10/10 with eating. Exercise not so much. TOM is on day 4 and has drained the life out of me lol. Also, I'm working this weird midnight shift this week to cover for another manager. Can't wait for TGIF

Next weeks plan is to stay 10/10 with plan and exercise. Have a great day everyone!

Hi, I'm pretty new to this community and I just saw this thread and thought I'd join.

I am 10/10 today on my food and 5/10 on my exercise. I would be higher on exercise if I could but I'm waiting for a stress test next week so I gave a 5/10 for average. Its very hard not to workout for me right now but my hands are tied.

I've been doing so good with food but I'm nervous about this weekend. Weekends are usually my hardest time staying committed. And this weekend my husband is taking a few days vacation so it will be extra difficult. He is the reason weekends are hardest in the first place.

to girl Welcome! Weekends are the hardest for me as well, and I also blame it on hubs. Im getting better with not having what he's having if I'm not hungry or it's not on my list of good foods to eat.

My scale stopped moving down today, but I'm a 10/10 anyway! Eating and water is on plan and I got a nice, long workout in!

Aml, oh, no doubt half of it is water weight. I don't blame you for not moving your ticker!

MsTibbles, yay! Glad to see you back! Congrats on being 12 total lbs down! Wonderful!

PrairieQueen, I'm glad your staff day went well and you made healthy eating choices!

CheesecakeBrownie, wow! on the miles you're putting in! Are you on a particular diet plan or just making healthy choices in general?

Lovemylife, I'm sorry TOM is giving you a hard time! It's almost Friday!

Tongirl02, glad you're joining us! Definitely listen to doctor's orders on the exercise. The best way to handle weekends is to plan ahead for them. If you are afraid you'll go off plan, winging it as you go is probably not the best option, lol! If you end up going out to eat, before you go, maybe you could go online and look at the menu and pick some healthy choices, etc. Good luck!

Morning all! TGIF!

I'm a 10/10 for everything today! I'm back down to my pre-TOM low. Making tomato-basil jam and salsa today to can for the winter. Leftovers for dinner and to the new micro-brewery tonight with hubs and friends. I will be DD to keep me on plan

8/01 - 170.0
8/14 - 169.4

Now, time to shed some pounds!

I dropped a lb from yesterday! I am definitely a 10/10 today!

PrairieQueen, yay! Now that TOM is under control, I hope you have a long downward trend! :

Good Morning Everyone It's TGIF

Today I'm a 10/10 and why not, it's Friday

This weekend I plan to stay on plan and get plenty of exercise. We have the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend so I will be doing a ton of walking. Hope everyone has a great on plan weekend!

hi there, thanks!

I'm on Jenny Craig, started on May 11th. I have tried to diet on my own and failed every time but with Jenny - so far so good and I love the food.

It's pricey but it's the only thing that's worked for me.

tongirl02 and ! Good to have you! I agree with Jacqui's suggestions, definitely plan ahead where possible. Most restaurants have nutritional information on their websites now and its been a godsend for me! Also, try to think that if you ARE going to have a treat, maybe have it in a smaller portion than you would normally. That way you aren't missing out, but you aren't blowing it either. Hugs to you!

Swimming was really good last night, I did 50 lengths (1250m) and totally amazed myself!

Feeling sore today though, and the scale is telling me i'm a pound up but i'm pretty sure its fluid from my muscles repairing Still, 10/10 because I feel wonderful and powerful after that work out! And swimming again tomorrow with my nan which might not be quite so intense

to you all and I hope your fridays are super.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Today was an 8/10. Though my food intake was on point and I went for a small walk with my mom and my daughter I daydreamed about what to do for dinner half the day. Then my husband told me his sister was getting him dinner as thanks for helping her move today. That let me off the hook and I was able to tailor dinner to myself. He had put the idea of pizza in my mind and I'm positive I'm not in a place to handle ordering a pizza and not eating half of it myself. Better to stay away from that temptation.

Tongirl02, I have a new way to eat pizza: I scrape the toppings off onto a bed of lettuce and have a pizza salad! It has all the wonderful flavor of a pizza without all the carbs (and calories) of the crust!

MsTibbles, way to go on the swimming! I absolutely LOVE the new avatar, hahaha!

CheesecakeBrownie, that is so great that you have found a program that works so well for you!

Morning all! Today I'm a 10/10 for staying on plan, but 7/10 for activity....I need a day of rest but I've made promises to others that I have to keep.

Down 0.8 lbs since yesterday!!! Total for August is -1.4 bs....slowly but surely.

278 today! Every day I lose a lb I'm ecstatic and it reaffirms my commitment. 10/10 today. Already have my meals planned. Talked my husband into going for a walk after my daughter eats breakfast. And
We are going to do something outside for our date night tonight if it doesn't rain. Probably head downtown to walk around.

JacquiThanks for that pizza suggestion. I will have to try that. Though I do try to limit too much cheese. I was thinking of sautéing the veggies we normally put on the pizza and throw a little cheese and sauce on it to get the taste. We love mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers on our pizzas.

Very committed today! had a bitter sweet weigh in this morning.. I finally got back into the 140's (149.8) again although that's what my malfunctioning scale read 2 weeks ago lol I feel like I can start being excited again about the pounds I lose rather than being bitter about my scale already showing these numbers. Gonna stay strong at my family get together/lunch today and hit the gym so I stay in the 140's ^_^
