CheesecakeBrownie Thanks! I love to cook and try new things.
MammiJay Welcome! I have found this site (and thread) keeps me accountable and motivated.

Morning everyone....glad to see everyone is still plugging away and making progress

Today I was a 6/10 but have upgraded to 8/10....feeling better now than I did when I first got up with the cold yuks and down 0.4 lbs from yesterday (and TOM set to arrive tomorrow/Friday). I was really hungry though this morning, but didn't overdo it...stuck with my usual 300 calorie egg/cheese wrap. I packed some corned beef, fresh sauerkraut, and a slice of Swiss cheese for lunch (no bread). I plan on making burgers on the grill tonight with garden veggies....no thinking required

Have a good day everyone!

The worst thing ever is to find urself on vacation in a summer house with a lot of relatives, none of em on a diet, they can eat anything they want with no weight changes, and the only person who've been dieting with u gives up...

Had 1 serving of chocolate chip cookie dough. Not a good start but now i'm at work and I packed a healthy lunch and have a good salad ready for dinner later so I'm committed now but lacked willpower this morning.

Woke up yesterday at 273 lbs. Good start to September. Trying for 270 by the 12th when we head to Florida for vacation. I love vacation. Some people eat worse. I eat better and am more active.

So, I'm back again. I'm sure no one remembers me but I was on this thread for a while some time back. Was having some health issues that derailed me a bit and I'm still dealing with them now but is manageable so back to it.

I don't think I have gained or lost anything since I last checked in but I haven't ventured to weigh myself yet. Rejoined my gym today and got me a load of cute new workout clothes and shoes. Been doing pretty well with the diet except for the evenings are harder for me. Something happens after 6 pm and all my self control goes out the window, I want to eat everything in sight. So maybe I'm not eating enough during the day?

blah.. I was UP 2 pounds on my weigh in yesterday

last week, I was great exercise wise, but not so great food wise. Been eating a lot of roasted salted cashews lately.

So today so far I'm 10/10... walked 3.5 miles and I'm all set up for my healthy meals today.

8/10 today!! ate a good breakfast and prepared healthy snacks and lunch to bring to work. Also, laid out my workout clothes on my bed so I can change into them first thing when I get home. Will make a plan for my dinner/snacks tonight to try to break the cycle of night time snacking I've been falling into. Yesterday, I ate so good all day and had a good dinner, but somewhere around 9 pm I found myself scarfing down a Symphony bar I had stashed in the freezer. I gave my kitchen another once over and threw away any junk/trigger foods that may have still been sitting around. Otherwise I'll never break the habit.

Hi Guys!

New to this thread!

Today I'm 9/10 committed to my plan. Have to visit relatives, but if I have an on plan snack before I get there and leave a little early, I should be OK. Yesterday was a 10/10 until I had a momentary "I'm starving!!!" fail which plummeted me down to 2/10 ~ for a time. At least what I ate wasn't sugar or grains. Dairy, yes. More calories, yes.

But, back on plan!!

I'm a 10/10 today. My cold-like symptoms are almost all gone, just a little loose cough occasionally. I felt great and well-rested this morning. Even though TOM is today or tomorrow I'm almost at my lowest weight Maybe I'll get a woosh in a few days....fingers crossed!

Aml, silly thing! Of course we remember you, lol! I'm glad you're feeling better and are back on track!

Inkrid, welcome to the thread! Good job avoiding the carbs!

Hi Everyone! I've been on the run the last few days, but I hope to be back posting and doing personals very soon! Despite being super busy, I've been staying on plan and making it to the gym, so my commitment level is still high!

I'm a 10/10 although TOM backache (it will be here today). I had a little whoosh today And I ran into a sub (teacher) at lunch yesterday that I've not seen since May and she was "Wow! You look great, you've lost weight haven't you." Made my day.

Last Friday 167.4
Today 166.0 after being 167.8 yesterday and 168.8 earlier this week

Slowly but surely.

PrairieQueen, congrats on your mini-whoosh! I'm sorry TOM is causing you pain (I hate the back pain worse than the abdominal pain!), but I'm glad your cold is better! Isn't it just great fun to run into someone who reacts in delighted surprise to seeing you since you've lost weight?

CCBrownie, lay off those cashews today! Lol! Aren't they good? But oh that salt! Drink lots of water!

Tongirl, I have my fingers crossed for you to lose those 3 lbs before you leave for vacation! You can do it!

fcoad2, I hope you stay determined! I know it's difficult when everyone around you is eating everything you wish you could eat, but you will feel so much better if you can stick it out! If you do slip up, just jump back on plan and keep going like nothing happened!

Today, I am a 10/10!

9/10 today. Woke up with a bit of anxiety, morning anxiety is the worst! But it is passing already so it's good. Friday is usually a good day for me, beginning of the weekend and all that. But I have to make a plan for Saturday and Sunday as those are my worst days for falling off the wagon. Haven't ventured on the scale again yet, but it is my tom so better not, bloating and all that.

Waiting to check my gym for class schedules, wanna try zumba first, sounds fun.

I'm afraid of it being a 7/10 day because I need to eat the food left in the fridge before it goes bad and I am feeling my body become cranky from no comforting carbs! Labor Day Weekend will always be a food surprise. Stay stong, stay stong...
