Horo, yay! That's great to hear! Feeling healthier is the best part!

PrairieQueen, I have complete faith in you tomorrow during your cookout! You eat very healthily, so just keep in mind what food does for your body, instead of how it affects your tastebuds temporarily! You got this!

MsTibbles, woohoo! Great job with the points/calories, walking and dancing! Good, good, and good!

I have been a 10/10! I got to the gym despite the limited Saturday hours, and although today is my Carb Day, I've kept it moderate, even with immense temptation!

Jacqui_D that is awesome, well done!

10/10 today although I did have to fight some large temptations, went to my nan's for a chat and a cuppa and she'd made home made sausage rolls and a GIANT gypsy tart *drool* I had one sausage roll counted in to my daily allowance and tea without sugar, so I think I did fairly well (pretty sure I could have devoured the entire table in one mouthful ) And went 1 point/9 calories over my daily allowance but that's not too detrimental, considering i've been under my allowance for most of this week.

to you all!

MsTibbles, thanks! And great job, yourself!

I am a 10/10 on eating and an 8/10 on exercise. The exercise rating would be higher if I hadn't missed the gym hours today! Now I'll have to make sure I exercise while watching tv tonight.

Tibbles - that sounds yum

Jacqui - great work! what's a carb day (do you only eat carbs one day per week?)

I have been 10/10 committed and losing heaps over the weekdays then put most of it back over the weekend which is very frustrating. 2 steps forward 1.5 step back. I value my weekends so much after a long week at work that i just reward myself too much with no limitations.

Today's menu

- soy latte
- green tea with lemongrass
- green tea tablet
- stirfried vegetables with chilli calamari
- coke zero
- gluten free toast with margarine and avocado
- diet ginger beer
- milky way fun size

going to make an effort to eat less processed foods. starting tomorrow haha

It's Monday!

The scale doesn't like me....up again 0.2
8/01 170.0 lbs
8/09 169.8 lbs

I'm a 7/10 today. I did so well at the Family cookout yesterday. My only splurge was a small cheesecake brownie with mixed berry purée (saw on FB). Instead of cutting into nine pieces, I cut into twelve pieces, to avoid too much sugar.

It seems like the less calories I eat, the more I hang onto it. I think there must be some truth to the "starvation mode" theory and your body conserving energy. So today I am not going to binge but I'm not going to analyze every thing I put into my mouth. Even though I'm not losing, my clothes are looser, so maybe I actual am gaining some muscle and the lbs will soon start to fly off . Fingers crossed.

The weather is so humid here , which tends to cause me to retain water and my TOM is just around the corner. I'm hoping this is my prob.

Have a great day everyone!
Breakfast - 2 egg omelet (dog got about a quarter of it) with cheese and coke life.

Hi everyone! I'm at 9/10 today for fitness and 10/10 for diet. I cheated with a real home made soup last night and added more salt then I am allowed. So I am paying for it this morning. I can feel the water retained at a high level. Drinking lots of water this morning and scared it won't go away so I'm keeping a strict watch on my diet. I tried a new exercise yesterday morning so I'm super sore today. I'm trying to work myself up for workout later but I really want to rest.

Ladyvwj, I'm sure the combination of salt and sore muscles is causing you to hold water. I hope the scale drops for you tomorrow! Love your high commitment numbers despite all that!

Lovemylife, so sorry about TOM! I hope you feel better soon!

PrairieQueen, I don't have a regular TOM schedule anymore but when I did, pre-TOM always caused me to gain (and still does when he comes around)! Hang in there! At least you weren't a lb up overnight like me, lol!

Perennial, a Carb Day is what someone on another diet plan might call a cheat day. I can eat anything I want as much as I want. The reason I don't call it a cheat day is because it's a recommended part of my diet plan so it's not actually "cheating." For 6 days a week, I'm allowed slow-burning low glycemic carbs (along with proteins and fats), but on one day a week, I'm allowed slow- or fast-burning carbs (with proteins and fats), so those of us here at 3FC who do this diet plan call this one day a week "Carb Day." I used to go all out on Carb Day, but I found it's much harder to get back on track when I do, so now I try to keep it moderate.

Today, I was a 10/10 on eating and exercise!

It's Tuesday and I'm a 10/10!

TOM came last night (2 days early) , and I'm relieved. It explains a lot. I never actually weighed myself on a regular basis until last month, and then it wasn't every single day. i wasn't really aware of fluctuations. Now, things are different.

Today will be miserable and tomorrow a little rough as well, but I'm hoping for a huge water loss. My weight didn't change from yesterday and I didn't count anything yesterday (I even had another cheesecake brownie last night after dinner)..

8/01 - 170.0 lbs
8/11 - 169.8 lbs
Lowest - 169.4 lbs

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Jacqui_D! After staying on meal plan and drinking lots of water yesterday, including working out, my numbers are going back down. I forced myself to workout as soon as I got home from work last night. Feeling good today. So I am a 10/10.

Probably 8/10. Migraine day today which makes me not want to do much of anything, eat comfort food, etc.. I munched on a little trail mix this morning that I shouldn't have, but back to being disciplined about it all now. Hoping the migraine will ease enough to get some exercise in later.

Perennial, woohoo! I have my fingers crossed for you!

Horo, oh no! I hope your migraine subsides soon! I know when I get them, they like to stick around for 2-4 days. I hope you are feeling much better tomorrow!

Ladyvwj, oh good! I'm glad to hear your numbers have gone back down! Great job on the workout!

PrairieQueen, I'm sorry TOM is bothering you, but it is nice to have an answer to the mystery of why your scale wasn't moving, isn't it? I hope you get a nice whoosh of weight loss now!

I stayed super busy today and didn't get my usual exercise in or even my regular intake of water (or food, for that matter), but I still felt much better today and I was back down 2 lbs this morning!
