I hit 156.4 this morning...rode 25 miles last night with DH on our bikes - took 2 and 1/2 hours! I'm tired today!

Hi everyone!!

It's been ages since Ive been on here, so just wanted to say!!! I'm still in the 160s unfortunately.

School has been so so hard. I am on such little sleep and loaded on caffeine, good thing is I'm still around 168ish so no gain!!

go syckgirl!!! You're doing amazing!! Btw I think you asked this before and I forgot to respond. The program I'm in is a 4 year doctorate program and after I'm done I have to do a residency and then pass the board exam for the state I need to practice in. Scary stuff ahead!! I feel like it's hard to get a good diet in plan like I used to have, hopefully when things settle down a bit.

Hope you all are having an amazing weekend!! I miss being around here all the time!!

LOL Paulitens, My Mom comes and does that. It's like she purposely says oh let's make a banana pudding knowing I can't resist. But the last time I ate one spoon and that was it. I was so proud of myself. I had never done that before. I'm sure if she could switch out the sugar with a substitute it would probably just as good but she has made that pudding since I was a little girl and is so set in her no measuring way, a bowl would send my glucose soaring . Thanks on the cookies. I hate to say no to them and they have asked me several times again today. I told them wait until after Monday then I'll make them I promise. My SIL said he loves the deep fried Oreos. You're right this is truly hard work and I think you're doing great weight wise. I barely gained any weight with our second son. He was also our smallest 6lbs 13ozs. I got pregnant with him 5 months after having our first son, I know

Cindy keep up the good work with whatever you're doing Eww on the chocolate covered bacon LOL, my son bought two cupcakes that had bacon sprinkles on top of them and I believe cooked in them. I almost gagged but he loved them. Yuck

Syckgirlsfv, It is OFFICIAL you are NO LONGER a 160's Gal ... to you. At the rate you are going you'll be in the 140's by Labor Day. Keep up the good work

hhm so good to see you YAY for no gains I know you'll hang in there ... check in when you can

I have had my second day of good eats. Only one more to go. It's horrible to rush the days but this is a mind game for me right now.

Rain, walked, and swam today before the rains came again.

Had a little marriage spat-related blip last night (left the house at 1:00 a.m, nothing but IHOP open, yep, had 2.5 pancakes and some hashbrowns). But back on track today so damage mitigated but prolly no woosh this week. I just cannot find happiness.

Not sure about the marriage yet. But I'll be honest, I was disappointed in the pancakes. I guess I wasn't so much drowning my sorrows and using syrup to do it but just needed some space for an hour or two.

I'm sorry to hear that, sometimes space is good to keep peace

I am at 161.4 this morning so I only have to do right today and kick this 1.4 and then I can be happy with my weigh in tomorrow morning.

Thanks Pinkhippie and to you You know the sad thing if I had as much discipline during the month as I have at the end of most months I would be at goal.

I was 170.0 this morning. Disappointing.

I'm just hoping is baby weight and not fat weight, because my self esteem is very low today thanks to some unsolicited comments yesterday.

Paulitens, I'm apologizing for whomever made the comments yesterday. Some people just don't know what to say. My Mom is one of those comment-ers, it bothers me for a moment but I have to let it go because she is not going to change and she's very blunt sad to say. It is baby weight, more water around the baby and you're doing great. Don't let anyone steal your joy Please smile and talk to the little one growing

I am back down to 160.6 now to just keep it moving. My son has challenged me to lose 10lbs in July. I would love for him to lose 10lbs so I will definitely give it my all to stick with him because I know there is no way I will do that again. My time for big monthly losses has gone bye-bye. But this should be fun. My son loves to eat I think I'll still do better than him maybe ... we shall see ... first weigh in tomorrow

Thanks love2b! Wow you are continuing to do awesome. Wow 10 lbs in July! Sounds like a fun challenge with your son.

Pauli: Im sorry people made comments. That sucks. But, yeah you do have another little person growing inside you so it could very well be baby weight. Or amniotic fluid weight. I think you are still doing great.

TOM is out of here and I weighed in at 163 today! I was shocked. Im very happy with that.

Thanks Pinkhippie , look at you go, great reason to be very happy 150's here you come Yeah I don't know about the 10lbs but if it will keep him motivated to shed some weight I'm all for it. He keeps saying I don't have the right things in the house. Everything is here and he cooks just as well as I do so it's a matter of preparation. He's 16 (17 in Oct) so he just thinks about the now like I did at 16/17 huh Did I ask you before ... Is your final goal 155? If so wow less than 10lbs to go ... I'm so happy for you

Thank you for your kind words, Pinkhippie and Love2b. I've been feeling pretty down lately and I don't know if it's the hormones, or just plain depression creeping up on me again, and because of that her comment rubbed me the wrong way. I hate feeling this way because I don't like getting hurt (duh!) and because getting hurt or not is all up to me and how I perceive things said to me.

But anyhow... I need to shake this off and keep doing my thing.

Congratulations on the scale moving in the right direction for both of you! Feels awesome, doesn't it!? I forgot the feeling but anyway, haha!
