Hi Girls. hope you all had a good day.

my confession:

breakfast - 1 cup of fruit and fibre cereal with half a cup of semi skimmed milk.

lunch - 1/2 paratha with 1 chicken leg and abit of curry . like 10 mini crakers with cheese!!!. and 1 packet of disco crisps. i ate lunch relatively fast, i felt like i was binging - i was way too hungry, so naughty me. i shouldnt have let myself become ravenous. i kept drinking water, and hoping i would stop feeling so hungry, as i wanted to exercise, but i got so hungry, that i had to eat something and then i couldnt exercise lol.
so next time, i'm gonna exercise a couple of hours after breakfast and before lunch.

dinner - salad with chicken curry. i used romaine lettuce, instead of bread or roti
dessert - 1/4 cup of yoghurt with a little bit of sugar.

1 cup of peppermint tea.

no exercise today naughty me! so tommorow i am going to have to work extra hard.

i hope i havent gained the weight i lost today! i feel like i've been naughty today.

when i dont see the scale move within the first couple of days...I give up.
start again Thursday, I guess....
I feel like a failure. started and stopped for the gazilienth time...

Hey all! Here I am! I know I didn't check in last night, but I was so sleepy that I went to bed and decided to post early this morning. Hehe.

Looks like everyone is staying on plan, woohoo!!

thistime - If you feel yourself getting scale-dependent, get someone to hide the scale for you and only weigh yourself every week or two weeks. That way, you won't allow yourself to give up if you don't see the scale move. Just a thought...we all want you to keep going on!

Yay! I'm on the red team! Too bad we're not on the same team. Looks like at least 20 - 30 people on each team, wowza! Plus, I completely forgot to check on the thread to see when the teams were up. I suck.

Yesterday went well! I actually thought about my snacks before eating them, so I was happy. I was at 1900-ish calories yesterday, but it was from eating fruit and veggies so I'm not too concerned. What's bothering me is my lack of motivation when it comes to exercise. I need to kick myself in the butt and get going. I'm planning on a walk today.

Today's planned confession.

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal

Snack - 5 olives or a bowl of grapes

Lunch - Er. Um. I dunno. This is usually a last minute decision...

Snack - 100 cal popcorn bag or grapes or 5 olives

Dinner - Homemade fried rice and chicken with black bean sauce. I'm excited to make this, had it a few nights ago when we ate at a Chinese place and I really liked it!

Dessert - 1/2 cup plain NF yogurt with 1 tsp brown sugar and some raisins.

I missed you gals yesterday too!! Will try to check in more often today.

BTW, just wanted to add - Echo, your weightloss avatar looks really pretty in that dress! Good for you with your weight loss!! Doesn't it feel good to have your efforts pay off? I'll be gone from the 13 - 16th. I'm pretty sure I remember our hotel having internet in the rooms, but I'll check again. If they don't, they will hear from me!!

Angela - Your avatar pic is looking pretty good!! Unfortch, I don't have any from when I was 145... or I can't find them. All the more reason to get to goal and start clicking like crazy!

Hydra - Good going on all that exercise! I went to the mall the other day and we walked for a good hour. I didn't think anything of it until I felt my legs were slightly sore and wondered why. It could also be that my mall walking was the first bit of exercise I've done in 3 days...*sigh*

Teach - your food looks yummy! Good job on the healthy eating!

Angela -yeh today we gotta BRING IT!!! on the exercise. kick butt , twice as hard

thistime140 - sunni said it best, hide the scale, and dont weigh yourself until at least 1 or 2 weeks. you wont see much of a difference on a day to day basis. i was at 168lbs for nearly 3 weeks, and then suddenly one day i dropped a couple of pounds.

keep going! you're doing great!!! today is a BRAND new day. forget the past, RIGHT now is when you start.

hey Sunni, we missed you last night!!

That happened to me last week or the week before when I had a stomach bug or something. I lost 2 lbs overnight. I wasn't stuck at 163 for more than a couple days so it wasn't a real stall like yours - totally sick weight. I was SOOOO happy to see 160, but then I got scared that it would come back and then some with a vengeance because I was sick. Thankfully it just went up by blips, but it came down quickly enough. So even if you see "up" blips, just keep doing what you're doing and it will go down again soon. I can't say "don't get upset," because I have! This whole thing is so frustrating. Good job so far!

I have no idea what to make for lunch. I'm also addicted to watching law and order episodes. I get scared of my own shadow so I'm always paranoid that someone's out to get me...and my new basil plant.

BTW, I got a basil plant last week. Still thinking of names for it, hehe (suggestions welcome). It's looking bushy but I read the more I harvest the leaves, the bushier it gets. Tomorrow night, I'm making pizza for dinner and I think I'll make a basil pesto sauce instead of my ghetto tomato one. I'm so excited!

thanks !! you're right, will just take it 1 day at a time, and hope the weight loss is real and keep doing what im doing.

LMAO !! that's so funny! about you being paranoid after watching law and order, and the bit about the basil plant haha. you crack me up

oooh a basil plant how cool!!! i love that!

i am growing organic garden cress at the moment. and its been a week, and they have grown so well!! i should take a picture of them before i eat them lol. i'm planning on making cress sandwhiches tommorow for me and my family.

i remember when i was a kid in middle school, must have been about 8, and we grew our own cress. and then ate them in white bread and butter. it was soooooooo yummy!

i love basic pesto sauce! thats awesome. and its all natural and organic which is totally good for you!
i love growing plants and eating stuff you've grown its so much more satisfying. not that i've done that , but would like to do more in the future. my first project was cress. hehehe

although i once bought a Thyme herb plant from the grocery store, so that was fun eating fresh thyme and looking after it.
