So, when's weigh-ins for TBL? Is it team-based or is everyone given a weigh-in day? I just saw Echo's signature and figured I'd be lazy and ask. I'll go check it out after I'm done posting here.

Today's confessions: Argh, I didn't exercise again. I am totally annoyed with myself. I know how good I feel after I've exercised, I KNOW that all it takes is me outside with my iPod and I'm ready to go. It's just that whole "getting started" part that gets me everytime. Boo to me.

Food confessions - not much! I actually stayed on plan and under calories - woohoo!!

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal (300 cals)

Snack - 5 olives (25 cals)

Lunch - homemade fried rice (600 cals) oops. It was just so tasty I couldn't help myself!

Snack - 5 olives, 1/4 cup of raisins (155)

Dinner - wholegrain pasta with chicken marsala (410 cals) I substituted cornstarch for butter and flour and it came out just as thick as if I used butter. I really spiced it up so it came out really good!!

Dessert - 2 cups of grapes (220 cals)

Total for today: 1710 if I added correctly. My range is 1800 - 2000, but I'm weaning myself for my new range when I get back from vacay (1600 - 1800). I'm happy I controlled my food intake today. I didn't feel as hungry as I thought I would. It's got me thinking that maybe I'm better suited to eating three times a day instead of constantly snacking/grazing. I thought that would help in keeping my metabolism up, but I guess this is also a personal thing. Oh well - whatever works right?

How's everyone doing?

I have never posted in this thread, but I have to confess!

This weekend is my 50th BD, and for the first time since I met my DH when I was 15, he has taken the bull by the horns and reserved us a weekend away. I don't even know where we're going. And I'm off work until Tues.

I have stalled out so bad this summer and gained 10 pounds. YIKES!

Right now I am enjoying a cold frosty beverage, ya only turn 50 once.

But, when we get back,........... I am back on the wagon hard core and lose that summer bbq and beer.

On a good note, I've kept up with yoga and I can do 15 side planks on each side.

Now, if I could just get DH to not be so stuffy about he Red Hat Society, red hat and purple feather tattoo I want on my right hip.

As stated in binge thread:

Did ok at work...had everything packed/measured.
Went to my grandparents' for dinner. Had veggie burger, small salad, and then they made me eat an oatmeal cookie that I of course noted was 90 cal. I had tea after, and felt full. I fully intended on eating nothing once home, and working out.

YEAH RIGHT -- then the evil twin took over: It was like I was in a trance, if someone was looking at my eyes they were probably spinning in my head. I drove to grocery store, got muffin mix, cake mix, and a can of pumpkin.
Ate some of the cake mix in the car. DRY.
Got home, made muffins, threw in some pumpkin to make them pumpkin muffins, scraped the batter and ate that, THEN ate 3 muffins.
Why I couldn't snap myself out of it while they were baking, I dont' know.

NO WONDER I tossed and turned most of the night and this morning look 16 weeks pregnant..

Sunni the first weigh in is 21st of september monday. for both teams.

you have to weigh in before a certain time on the monday. so to be
on the safe side, i'm going to weigh in on sunday and put my weight in on sunday.

oh i see Angela already answered the question hehe thanks!

sunni i can totally relate. the only thing that gets me motivated to exercise these days, is watching last chance workout scenes from the biggest loser hehehe

thats great Hydra seeing progress little by little.

shcirerf - love the avator photo very motivational ! nice to have you join us. have a lovely time on your trip ! and happy birthday!

lol at your hubby not wanting you to get a tatoo.

Dogmom, i can TOTALLY relate on the binge! i did it yesterday as well and as a consequence gained a pound! gah!!! okay today I will do better, fresh start starting right NOW - you join me
so i'm thinking all the snacking i did, is the cause! so i changed my ticker design aswell to reflect the gain lol. will go back to my original ticker design once i lose the pound again.

Last night was difficult because I worked an overnight shift and was late for an afternoon class. I also missed my workout which annoyed me too since I have already had 2 day's rest.

Up at 6am

1130am: Whole wheat wrap (too large) with deli turkey, mustard, guac, hummus, tomato, lettuce, onion, red peppers from the school cafeteria (probably 500-600 calories)
*First time I ate off plan in 8 days, was a little disappointed because I am trying so hard to avoid buying food or eating sodium-drenched deli meats, but it had already been 5 hours and I was late for 1130am class! Spent ONE HOUR finding parking at the damn school.

~nap~

5pm: seared pork loin (around 6oz) with olive oil, carrots and onions roasted with olive oil.

~work!~

9pm: 1 whole chicken breast, 4 cups spring mix salad, 1 tbsp olive oil, white wine vinegar and dijon dressing. One apple. Two HUGE black coffees.

Midnight: 1/2 cup oats + one scoop vanilla protein powder

3:30am: 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese.

***Looking forward to my birthday tomorrow right where I'm going to have my treat that I have been eating on plan for! Chinese food :-) And I'm not gonna care how much sodium I eat.

I came back from vacation last week at 126.1lbs, I'm down to 121.4lbs, I suspect from a very low sodium intake in the past 8 days. I was blooaaated!

DH is also down to 200lbs from 208lbs. Yeesh, vacations wreak havoc!

GREAT - Hubby wants pizza. Now what do I do? There is NO WAY IN H. I can watch him eat it and not have any.
I am a 3 piece minimum kind of girl so "I'll just have one" will never work.

(OK, I guess I shouldn't complain I am gaining, huh?)

my confession:

breakfast - water

lunch - rice and chicken. 1 packet of discos crisps bbq flavour.

dinner - chinese chicken shehlik (that i helped to make with my dad and uncle), with rice, and 1 toast with butter and organic garden cress (That i grew myself! they were yummy, very delicate flavour, my family liked them too).
oh and some onion pakoras.

i so overate!!!! bad me!

dessert 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream with a tiny drizzle of strawberry syrup and 1 wafer biscuit

i was craving haagen daaz strawberry cheesecake ice cream soo badly today! i even went as far to the local shop to buy a small carton, but they only had the 500ml tub, and that was way too expensive compared to the grocery store. so i went back home lol.
so then i concocted the above dessert for me and my family instead. will have to have haagen daaz another day! haha.

i have probably gained 2 pounds ! i am predicting when i go on the scale tommorow morning will be back to 168 gah! thats why i weigh myself everyday stops me from having too many days of over indulgence, because i know i will pay for it the next morning. keeps me on track.

will do better tommorow. im totally blaiming TOM hehehe

EDIT

omg i'm out of control! just went downstairs to have a few bites of the chicken with rice! okay i really gotta get a grip! TOM or no TOM, this has got to stop!! hehe i'm so bad

My turn! I was pretty bad today tooo... check it out below...

Breffix - 3 pancakes, 1/4 cup low cal maple syrup. I made the pancakes, but still, it was a lot of cals (600!!)

Snack - 100 cal popcorn bag

Lunch - chicken quesadillas (ate out, but it wasn't cheese-laden, which was good - very tasty!) (500 cals, 460 for the cq's but I ate some of hubby's chips as well)

Snack - 1/4 cup of raisins (130 cals)

Dinner - Chicken pesto pizza. Homemade with my basil plant!! Tasted delicious. I made the pesto with 1 tbsp olive oil and chicken stock - absolutely perfect, didn't miss the oil base at all! Added some pan roasted chicken from last night, olives, feta cheese, and onion to the pizza. Even though it was majorly delicious, I donated a slice to hubby. I was full before I finished my slices. (450 cals)

Total cals: 1910. Not THAT bad as my high range is 2000. I'm getting stuck between 161 - 160, so I think I need to drop my cals or freakin' go for a walk!! Grrr @ myself.

Lots of water. Probably due to all the carbs, I retain lots of water when I eat carbs. Le Sigh. I'll probably set my team back in 2 weeks.

Have a good night ladies!!

Morning, ladies!! This time tomorrow I'll be high in the sky on my way to Vegas!! Hee hee.
So this morning I was scared to weigh-in. Thought I would see a major "up" blip because of the food I ate yesterday. Turns out, I lost some weight, woohoo! It's probably a down fluke. I get those. My graph on Fitday looks like it has convulsions every other day. Speaking of, this is going to sound childish, but I made a weight goal on Fitday. I thought that when I reached this goal, Fitday would at least say something like "You met goal!" I mean, I know I met my goal- yay! - but I'd like to see it, know what I mean? Like on the tickers we use, it says "keep going!" or "You've met goal, congratulations!" On Fitday, there's nothing. Absolutely nothing. I hit my goal, I wanted to be 160 today and I made 159.9 (even though I like the 15 part, it's still 160), so couldn't Fitday at least say "Goal met!" What a letdown. I'm still happy with myself, but dang, Fitday! Ok, rant over.

I've got a LOT to do today. Blah. Hope I finish everything. How's everybody else doing?
