Will do Hun, I not a big lover of Slayer but I've never seen them live so **** I'll go for a nose for you. I love Feeder and would you care to make a small wager as to how far into the set Mark E Smith passes out/falls off the stage/wanders off? the mans a bloody loon

I'm hoping its not too muddy (old age - ha) but I've survived 3 extreme Glastos so this will be a doodle

The Fall are coming to my out of the way town in a few months, my sister loves them (for 20 odd years). I don't think they'll turn up myself.

Mark E Smith, what a character! Seen them twice but never seen Feeder or Slayer - I just love their records!

Now c'mon peeps, you know why Maddona never reaches 50 - it's that Kabbalah stuff - that water she drinks- obviously fountain of youth stuff! I am wondering what essence of Lewisham as oposed to my usual essence of Hammersmith is doing to me. I don't think I have aged any!

Ok Nosey Sarah I am aka Suzi!

I remember liking Bingo Masters Breakout back in the day but I've never really liked them, I'll pop along and see them seeing as I'm "an old person". (I was told this on the bus the other day by a couple of "Emo" kids) WTF!!! if half of todays kids are still around listening to Alternative music in 20 years time I'll stop going to Glasto!

Just cos I be nearly 40 doesn't mean I'm to old join a mosh pit (err perhaps not , I'll just jump around at the sides.

RAWK and ROLL!!!!!! and where's me Vody

Oooooh, Reading! Moo you lucky thing! I was a regular at the Leeds end of that particular fest up until I moved to the US. I saw Feeder a few years back at Leeds, v. good. I see Pearl Jam are on the bill too *jealous*.

The area I moved to has a "festival" once a year but no decent acts play it. One year they had Oliva Newton John ffs!

Have an (overpriced) beer for me!

I wanted to go to V. I'll probably watch Reading on tv but watching V on E4 and them hardly showing anything of the bands I like has put me off festivals on tv.

I know what you mean veggie, I tried to watch Live 8 over here only MTV was broadcasting it which meant they showed a minute of the band then cut to some moronic "VJ". Most of the programme was commercials and said "VJ's" yapping. Most annoying.

I'm off for an early night I shall return on Monday with tales of Drunkeness, fruit, chemical toilets, campfires and mud

Lynne - I never went to Leeds, it just didn't seem right if you know what I mean. I shall have a letch at Eddie Vedder to see if he still as fit as ***k, bet he's got fat singer out of Feeder is quite foxy though perhaps you ought to come back to the UK next summer and do a few festivals?

Peacock - What are you planning on buying? or are you just browsing?

Veggie - Vody drip it is then *hic*

Oh and I'm taking my pedometer! I'm curious how many miles I walk at a Festival.
