Hi Peahen, welcome back, at least it did let you in incognito luv
Cathy, how you doing with your pile of dirt then luv? I reckon you could use it to build a nice foundation for a dog house so hubby could have his own place for bringing it all home
I can't send mine over to be in the pile, he's absolutely lovely at the moment. He's been selling things on EBay and he's giving me all the money to spend for when I go home in a few weeks. I do love him so!
Mine is Crap
I have'nt touched the muck Chris its been too windy and everytime I take my barrow down to get a load it gets in my eyes its not so bad today so i'll go out and use some of it the stuff in the greenhouse is rubbish so i'm gonna dig it down about a foot or so and get rid of that and replace it with the good stuff and the rest i'll spread over where its sat and reseed it so I have a nice lawn near the picnic table that'll keep me busy for a while.
Linus, it is I (ex peacock). There is no better or worse half - only me!!! No, I haven't been to the vets or the Doctors either (wel not for a sex change anyway!).
I was a last night and ate about a dozen chocolate digestives after my dinner I just kept dunking the buggers in my tea and eating them enjoyed them too so too bad its a bit miserable today grey with light rain but I should'nt complain cuz we really need it I think i'll have to fire up the woodstove today don't think i've ever done that before in July hubby complained it was cold this morning even tho' its still 20 degrees soft sod!!
I am away for the weekend or at least I hope I am. My sister's car was playing up a little last night so have to see if it starts yet - lol. RAC said that it was the starter motor but it starts sometimes and not others. We are supposed to be going to visit my Grandma in Lancashire (300 miles from where we live in Devon).
At the moment I am cooking too different types of pasta and sauce (mild cheese and broccoi and mushroom and wine) to take with me in case I get hungry later. I have also filled a flask of coffee and packed a hi-fi bar and some low fat pop corn for the journey.
In my case I have packed pasta and sauces and savoury rice along with UHT skimmed milk, scan brans etc.
I DON@T INTEND TO CHEAT on my diet this time - lol. Diet usually goes out of the window when I get to my Grandma's but not this time. I am going to be good.
5 hours in the car with my younger sister (aged 20) and my 2 kids (4 and 6) can be a complete nightmare - lol - on the pther hand, with the right music we can have a great time - singing all the way.
Driving over there is a nightmare not so bad on the motorway tho' is it? I hope you have a great time Super You'll be near my home say "hiya" to your Gran from us
Still here. Have finished packing and am waiting for everyone else to come home. Am having my dinner - quorn meatballs in tomato and basil sauce with mashed potato - yummy and free. I have to fill up before they get home as they have all been to the chip shop and I will be tempted to pick otherwise.
@ Veggie I bought a litre of Rum and Vodka at the duty free in Canada took it to England, we drank the Rum and brought the Vodka home and its sat in the cupboard with the other stuff that was bought for Christmas etc and never drank i'm as bad as Super!! No doubt it will be drunk next month when the clan come over
Oh yeh, just remembered when I went on that cruise down to Florida I took some supplies i.e. biscuits those buggers went half way around the world and then back home again I never touched them and the packets looked a bit tatty when they got back so I eventually threw them out, but they saw some sights
