I was'nt here to say goodbye to Chris

and also advise her about the permanent resident card

cuz I went through the same thing

They did'nt get my paperwork done in time for me either so I left without mine and decided to get it done in London but I did'nt have time to do that either

cuz the office closed early in the afternoon and I would have had to travel during the night to get to the office in time

and then I found out it took longer to process the paperwork than the length of time I would be in the UK anyway

so decided to 'sod it' and take my chances

and I walked back on that plane without a problem

the immigration guy in Canada had a great laugh when he asked if anyone had challenged me about my status and I said "No, in fact they flew me from Manchester to London too"

when I got home and went to the mailbox my permanent resident card was in the mail and had been issued 2 DAYS AFTER I'D LEFT

Anyway, if you manage to get online over there Chris "I hope you're having a great time"

and YOU BET we'll meet up sometime

I'll look forward to that.
We had a blast camping and extended it another day cuz we were enjoying ourselves so much

only came back cuz I had to work on tuesday

otherwise I think we'd still be driving around

oh well, you have to get back to reality sometime don't you
Poor Carol or should I say Poor Ray

I hope he is'nt suffering too much now.
Well, I'm back to reality with a thump now

off to put another load of laundry in the washer
