Hi all

Well I am back after a short break in the UK and weighed in yesterday, I din't go mad but did take some time out from the diet and had a little of whatever I fancied including fish and chips,
Neither Phil or myself have lost anything but we haven't put it on either which is great news. From 2morrow I shall be back on track as I wantto loose the only 2 and half stone before we go to Florida in Oct.

Hope you are all doing ok with the weight loss.

Val

Evening all. Or morning depending on the time zone! Just found this site and what a relief! Am doing SW at home (2 v. young boys to look after means it's hard to get to classes) and finding it good but hard to stay motivated without the support of a class. Love the red days - can you just do red all the time?

Yes Mum to 2 - as Cat90 says you can do red all the time, or you can have alternate days - just don't mix and match on the same day!

Thanks for info. Have lost 1 stone so far but have been alternating red and green but much prefer red! Am getting dh to sponsor me each week if I lose weight (monday morning WI) - good incentive since I was pregnant for almost 2 yrs non stop since boys are only 14months apart so haven't had any new clothes except maternity for at least that long! Can't wait for new wardrobe of outfits!!!!!!!!
Only 2.5 more stones to go!

Hi all,

I've recently been told by a friend that foods such as Macaroni cheese, and vege spaghetti bolognese (both canned) are now quite heavily sinned. Being as I don't go to class anymore, I wondered if anyone could explain why this is so??

Thank you,

Jo

Thanks for info all.
Well done Linus - 3 stone since March is amazing! I had my second son in March and am trying desperately to return to my 'before kids' size or perhaps below (like most people I always wanted to lose that extra 1/2 stone!)
Finding avoiding alcohol hard though - after such a long time of abstenance during pregnancy I really crave it now! Any tips on low sin drinks anyone?

they changed there policy and syns so that you have to make your own meals from scratch so that you get used to fresh food and such

Seems a bit of a barmy policy to me i mean if it worked before and people lost weight why change it?

Mum-to-2, God i'm having trouble with your name think i'll just call you Mum from now on i typed Mum-2-two then Mum-two-2 had to go back 3 times to get the bugger right think you'll be out of luck with the low syns drinks you're not supposed to enjoy yourself on a diet (did'nt you know that ) so i say bugger it and drink them anyway Spirits are 2.5syns on both days so not so bad with diet coke or something. Stay away from them Bacardi Breezers tho' they pack a whopping 11 syns looks like the only things that are low are the low alcohol and NO ALCOHOL drinks.

I've just started on the Slimming World kind of diet but unfortunately can't afford to join the classes or anything. All I have done is read their site and one of their food optimising books. Anyone know where or can give me more info or recipes?
