Haven't done any exercise so far this week, apart from a 1.6 mile walk yesterday lunchtime.

Need to get my butt in gear

Cathy, I tried the Pilates tape a couple of times, felt like I was trying to be a contortionist....so I figure I stay with Curves for now, maybe I'll try them again when I'm more limber?

Tell me about it Chris..i tried to do a little of the advanced workout today and you have to lie on the floor lift your legs right over your head and put your feet on the floor behind you they had finished the set before i'd even gotten my arse off the floor think i'll just practice with the basics for a bit.
Today i did 3.15mls on my treadmill..15 mins of weights and 10 mins of trying to do myself an injury.

LOL Cathy, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a bit of trouble with it luv. I have to laugh cos the people on the video don't even break into a sweat and I am puffing and panting whilst trying to contort my body and like you say, by the time they've finished a set, I'm not even in the first position and that's the end of me. And all the time they do it, they keep saying to breathe evenly, it's definitely a multi task programme to follow....

Used to be able to put my feet over my head and touch the ground when I was very very young. Doubt I could get them anywhere near my head now.

Stick to the treadmill and TV, sounds a less painful alternative to me.

Glad your still enjoy curves Chris, am dead jealous

Went out for a bike ride with the boys this morning, had promised them yesterday we would, but I really didn't feel like it today - too much booze and lack of sleep last night.

But we went. We rode about 3 miles and were away for over an hour.

Was too much fun too be good for me

Still doing curves four times a week, am still enjoying it as well. The salsa vid sounds like fun though, might go out this weekend and see if I can find one. I do have a friend who is of latin origin and she taught me to salsa on a night out with a bunch of wine and jello shots in me, I must say, I looked pretty good and kept with the beat....but I was a bit piddled so might not have been as good as I think!

I'm glad you two have sunshine. I haven't seen it in days. Actually I lie, it's just popped out now through the horendous thick clouds that have become a part of the NJ sky line for over a week now. I am feeling rather run down today, been busy at work and due to high winds recently am having allergy problems, due to all the blossoms and bits and bobs flying off the trees. Still I will walk the dogs tonight as per usual and I know it'll make me feel better too. Enjoy your sunshine

Fell by the wayside today. Was in Dundee and went to the pub for my lunch with a couple of the guys instead of walking in the rain.

Will make up for it tomorrow am going to tidy both boys rooms - am a glutten for punishment, am trying to convince myself that all that bending and lifting will be good for me.........
