Cathy, the little arrows on the bottom of your posts are green when you are on line. With the time difference to GB I don't usually see anyone on line so was happy to know last night I wasn't the only one up in the world

Didn't do curves today, had all good intentions and got there to realise I'd forgot my tennies....gah! After work this was as well and by the time I drove home I just thought I wasn't meant to go today so stayed home and had a little nap.....it was a long day and miserable out too
Did walk as usual with Pen and Lew though, so have exercised, plus, during the work week, I always have a work out, this week more so than usual, cos my three year old keeps me on the move all the time...he's such a sweetie.

Walked over 5.5 miles on Saturday - didn't take my pedometer up the mountain or out on the town in the evening, but we did a lot of walking at both of these times too.

Rode my bike for over 11 miles over rough terrain yesterday. Was exhausted at the end of it and my butt was so sore. 11 miles is the conversative estimate of how far we went. We need to buy a map measuring thingy or a speedo for one of the bikes.

Apparently we are going out on the bikes again this weekend, was fun really, but I might not be so keen in the rain !!!!

Am going for lunch in an hour - can't wait. And will walk my usual mile and a bit then.

Carol

didn't walk at lunchtime, took the car to Sainsburies instead. Will need to do something tonight - even 10 minutes a day will make a difference to my metabolism.

Went to Curves this evening. They have just moved into a new facility which is a bit bigger as their clientele has grown since they first opened. Was a bit shocked cos it's not as big as I expected, the room for the workout is long and narrow so felt a bit like you were going to step on someone, still never mind. They added a new machine too. It works your upper body, it's like a bar that you lift up to your boobs and push down again, I could really feel my muscles screaming by the third round!
Walked Pen and Lew tonight, have had to hold off the past two days as Pen hurt her leg on Saturday so has had to rest up. She was pretty nippy on her feet tonight though
