Well I just walked the treadmill for 50mins....argh... boy only loosing a lb. really kicked my butt into gear...

Suz....good for you, I wish you mucho success on the three day diet... I know what ya mean about hubby's loosing much more than us I hope your hubby looses weight, but I hope you loose more Keep us posted.

Kiwi as long as you stay behind me where you belong, "no worries" cuz I don't look back...only forward...only forward....I gotta catch Suz...geesh 160's I would not know how to act, yes I would go out and by me some lacy undies that my fat butt could not fit into if I was in the 160's...
so you keep bringing up my rear Kiwi that is right where I want ya... and we are good

My diet is the HMR Healthy Solutions Plan...It is a medically supervised program through a local hospital, but you can join on line as well. When I was on WW I never learned how to eat HEALTHY..I always saved my points for junk, junk in junk out plus always counting points all day long day in and day out was just not for me, I was constantly thinking about food and worrying about how many points I had left before they were all gone for the day So needless to say I was not a success story on WW
With Healthy solutions I consume about 1200 1500 calories a day, they have classes you can attend if a local hospital is near you if you sign on line you get a phone sponsor...they practice "MORE IS BETTER" attitude and you need to stay in the box, meaning they give you a tool box so to speak and as long as you stay in the box you will lose weight. They really push Physical activity also known as PA and fresh fruits and veggies...for me this is something that is finally working I have always maintained there a million "diet" plans out there and they ALL carry success stories most of the battle we face is to find out which one really works best for our selves, so after numerous diets, WW, south beach, shangrali, slimfast, etc to name a few...this has been working the best so far for me, I hope to become one day a success story where I reach my goal!! so that is what I am doing good luck with WW it has helped alot of people obtain their goal weight...unfortunatly I was not one of them
Well I am off to eat lunch....and drink some more water, I think that was part of my problem last week too, you need to drink water to flush away the fat cells and I did not drink my min. let alone drinking over....so drink your water girls...

Hey Everyone

I didn't get to post earlier today. I did my exercise and I did my weigh in. I am at 199.2 no loss no gain. I am going to kick it up a notch this week.

Congrat s Kiwi- I tried doing the WW on my on from information I could gather from the internet, books, and other people. I love the Points System. That is what I was doing to lose the weight I lost last year. I just can't afford to pay for the meetings right now or I would so be there. I am proud of you for trying it. I think you will see a great result. I am so invious (sp).

Danni, Suz, Ivy, Misscindy, and Hp - Keep up the good work

Who is this teacher? I can't wait to meet her or him????

Got to go til tomorrow I meet you at 8:00.

OMGosh! Is this what I can expect from WW? Its seems all of you have tried it and then stopped for one reason or another.

I know what you mean about the Teacher. Actually, my sister and I went first to a Thursday meeting and I didn't like the Teacher. She seemed very uncomfortable speaking and seemed to just ramble seeking approvable from the crowd. She ignore the new people so I felt confused about her topic. Actually, this group seemed more like a selective club with many clicks so I felt unwelcomed by all of them. When I become a teacher I will make sure new people feel welcomed.
We decided to try Saturdays group. This teacher was friendly, funny and knowledgeable and could handle the crowd. I liked how she got the crowd talking including new people. People will tend to reflect their leader or teacher so everyone seemed friendly and as guest we felt welcomed.

I know what you mean about counting points. It seems I do that all day long. Then again I did that with calorie counting. But the point system seems easier for some reason and it includes fat and fiber count, which I never did when counting calories.
Of course my favorite way of dieting was the "I don't count calories or fat diet" Which means I didn't want to be accountable to what I ate so I cut back on what I ate assuming I would "know" when to stop or what not to eat. 77 pounds later I'm seeing my relection in a window wondering what the heck happened?

I believe that anyone successful at dieting had a good support group. I believe you ladies are mine. I also believe WW will be supportive. So for all of you dissing Weight Watchers I say this:
DON'T HATE ME 'CAUSE YOU AN'T ME!

Just kidding. I am prepaid on this thing for 9 weeks. So, I plan to work with it and if it doesn't work then I'll try something else on this non ending struggle to find my beautiful figure under this women's size body!

Good Morning everyone,

Its been wonderful so far. No Grandkids today which means I can get alot of things done! Yeah!!

How is everyone else doing? Suz how did the 3 day work for you? I hope it did. You probably could have been more faithful than me. How did your Husband do? Men! My husband can lose so quick!! grrr!

I know what you mean about not getting the support and that's why I'm so thankful for all of you. Like both you and Danni were trying to say. There are so many diets out there with success stories and we've just got to find what works for each of us. If this isn't the one that works for me this time, I'm going to run the next one before all of you FIRST before I spend any money! HA HA

Butterfly, just take one step. Figure out what you can do and do that. It took awhile to get the weight on and it will take awhile to get it off Just find one thing right now that you can change that will make a difference in your weight loss? Example, Do you drink cokes? Stop drinking coke for 21 days and drink diet or water or tea for 21 days. just make 1 small change. It will make a huge difference in your motivation. Make your goals achievable. You wouldn't expect someone to exercise 1 hour a day if they have NEVER exercised? That would be defeating? They couldn't do it and then they would feel like a failure so eventually they would quit all together.
Hang in there girl!

Hope everyone is doing great today. I skipped exercise, sorry, so much for 21 days of habit! I think I do better with weight loss when I limit it to 4 or 5 days a week. Does that seem like it makes sense?

Anyway, chat later.

Great Bonnie,
Drinking water is a great choice. But remember even that may take some building up to. I find it easier to drink the required amount by getting 4 -16.9 bottles of water and drinking one by mid morning the second by mid lunch the third by dinner and then I usually finish off the last one by bed time. I tried drinking from 1 big 64 oz mug. But I never finished it.

How is everyone else doing? Aunt Flo showed up a few days ago so I really expected to have a hard week. But its been great (still pumped) but I haven't lost anything either and I don't think I can retain water since Doc has me on a water pill.

I have a hair appointment today so Scalewatcher I will be exercising early today so I can get ready and leave on time.
Haven't heard from you lately. What's up with that? Did you over do it again?

Hope everyone else has a great day.

Hi Ivy,
That's great about the Voucher. We don't have a baley so I didn't bother with it. Had my hair done today. I didn't think you could thin my hair out to much but OH YEAH YOU CAN! Good grief,
lets not go there.

Still doing good not cheating or falling off the points.

How is everyone else doing?

Well hope everyone had a great day. I did great. I was planning on having this awesome soup I heard about but I forgot to buy some of the ingredients so I ended up with salad. It was okay but I'd would have preferred the soup.

My dog had pups so I'm going to go stare at them awhile before going to bed.

Bonnie how did that work for you today? Keep up the good work on the water. I personally could live on Beanie Weanies. LOVE 'EM!!

Scalewatcher what's happening with you lately?
