Ceejay - I am sorry to hear about your aunt but if the relatives are all up there in years, I suppose one has to expect it. Hopefully she went peacefully. I'm glad to hear the uncle was released and is recovering. I think most insurance companies have a health group or pair with someone who will give advice on many health issues and provide support for things like weight loss- after all, it reduces claims for them. Give it a try if it's part of your program. Can't hurt. I'm glad you will eventually get your shipment delivered.

Laura - what kind of water bottle did you settle on? Or are you not telling so that we don't snatch them out from you? I bought a metal one last year - it keeps hot or cold - might be Thermos brand, not sure and am too lazy to go down and rummage through the cabinets for it but I do like it a lot. I bought it more for long distance car travels, especially in the warm weather. Sorry you missed seeing Fed Up but thank you for reminding me I could probably rent it from the library. I like those "bands" you got tickets for - is Michael McDonald still touring with the Doobie Brothers? He was the sound of the group - just like John Fogerty with CCR. Doobie Brothers music will always remind me of my college days. As for your question about Saucony shoes, I have never worn them - I think they, like Nikes, tend to run too narrow for a good fit for me. Let us know how you like them.

Annie - oh that salad sounded really good. I am really liking pairing fruit with chicken in a salad - oranges, mandarins, grapes, cranberries - just about anything good. Yum. Lite House brands makes a spicy Citrus (orange) vinaigrette that we sometimes use - DH more than me because it does have a bite to it. I think it's pretty conservative in calories too. We had a salad with rotisserie chicken the other night too - DH said it was a nice change of pace. As for your question on hair color - after being blond more than half my life, I went darker a few years ago and I really liked the darker color - sometimes I went even a bit darker than my natural color. My Mom hated it. The one problem with the medium brown is that pretty much the top half of my head is white hair so not only did the roots show quickly but they tended to make my thin hair look even worse because it looked like I had bald spots where the white started to show through. I was also reading that dark hair tends to age you. I was debating about just letting my hair grow out - it's pretty white on top so I'd look like a platinum rather than salt and pepper. When I told a few people about my plan they all said no - especially the guys. They told me I was too young and did I want to look like "those ladies", meaning the other ladies at the shop - most of which have let their hair go natural. My DH said it was my hair and it didn't matter to him what I did with it as long as I didn't look freaky - ie shaved on one side or rainbow clown hair. In the end I went back to blond - very light blond based on my hairdresser's suggestion. I do have very small lowlights in my hair but I have to admit, while it took me a couple of weeks to get used to it again, everyone really likes it and the few lowlights actually bounce a lot of light off of it. I like it because I can stretch out colorings to about 8 weeks - even at 8 weeks the outgrowth is not that different than the color so it blends well. My sister was going even darker than me and she went to an Aveda salon and the hairdresser did not listen at all to what she asked for - cut her hair differently and put a ton of highlights in and really lightened up her hair to a light brown with lots of dimension. We checked out each other's looks on a FB chat and she looked incredible. I would have to agree that the lighter, softer color really made her look much younger. The dark was "harsh" when I saw the 2 in comparison. If you decide to go back to brunette, it might be better if you got some highlights to frame the hair around your face to catch the light. But if your hair grows fast, you will probably have to color it more often than you do now so that might be an issue. I'd vote to stay on the light side. Also... maybe you and Sissy can do a girl's day out and go over to a wig shop - just to try a darker color on for size to see what you think. As for Sissy's comment that people will know you are not a natural blonde, at this point, who cares???? Most of the people you see on tv or in magazines have been "altered" so no one is natural any more That was nice of you to help out the kids with an extra appliance - the older ones probably are more durable than what you'd buy new today anyway which is why the ones in our basements that are 20 years old are still running And I don't blame you for avoiding manhole covers either after the explosions. Those things are cast iron and weigh as much as a car - total death bomb if they get launched into the air! I never liked stepping on them anyway - one of my friend's brother's stepped on one and it was not sitting correctly over the hole and he fell partially in and really bashed up his man parts ! True story. City living is dangerous!!!!

Laura - I have to agree with you - if you can't afford a salon color, then at least get someone (you trust) to apply the color for you. It is SO HARD to do the back of your own hair and after a few times if you aren't covering it evenly, it looks horrible from the backside. Sometimes I wonder what all these years of dye might have done to my brain but I've drank Coca Cola for all of my adult life and smoked for half of it too so I'm sure I have done lots of damage to my poor old self.

Hope you had a fun cooking class Terra - I can see why you'd be happy to get out from the house after being inside for several days.

Michelle - although working from home or a short commute is desirable, I guess you have to go with the job that will offer the most security and benefits. Hopefully you won't have to travel all the way to SF daily. I liked BART - except for the last time I was on it travelling to my friend's place outside of Oakland. Took the train, was in the tube (underneath San Francisco Bay) and when we got to the other side they stopped the train to check for track damage as there had been a minor earthquake while we were travelling underneath the bay. I stayed calm but that totally freaked me out - after that train: yes, riding under a giant body of water: no, no, no. The train beats driving too - at least you get some free time to yourself while someone else drives. That probably will complicate things with Santa though. Oh and I meant to ask - did you change Santa's name because he was originally named Santo after Ron Santo - the famous Chicago Cubs baseball player?

Hello to the rest of the fine Worldlies.

I am bad - I NEED to get some things done here in the next 8 days and I keep vowing at night that I will tackle them first thing in the morning and then the day runs away from me. We were supposed to go to the next town to Kohl's as I need to return a bunch of stuff I ordered - bras are as hard to fit as shoes are! But we were supposed to get snow so we put that on hold. I really need about 2 days uninterrupted by myself to focus, focus, focus. And it starts by getting a decent night's sleep NOW.

So goodnight all, check you in the morning.

Good Morning/Evening All...

Got my hair cut last night, hard to believe 5 weeks has passed since the last cut. I went back to even sides but instead of layering it from top to bottom I am going to try keeping the same style except no layers. Just frustrating deciding on a style to go with, I have style burn out at the moment.

HAPPY...I tend to agree with you on all your hair advice. Heck Sissy doesn't even have her natural color. Yes, very dark hair, unless natural, does make one look older. Kind of Morticia-eee. I believe I will stick with the blond. I would not be able to stand the new growth of white at the roots. You are not bad, you are retired and you have all the time in the world to do things when the heck you want to do them and if they don't get done at all, I bet time will go on anyway. Hope you slept well.

CEEG...do take advantage of your insurance to help with weight loss. My insurance is supposed to pay for weight watchers, but have not investigated that yet. Sorry to hear of your aunt's passing. May she rest in peace. Hugs sister.

LAURA....we have some logo water bottles here at work, I will see if I can snatch you a free one. Probably not what you are looking for but what the hey it is free.

CHELLE...any news on the work front? How did the interviews go?

SHADDIE...come up for air sister.

Hello to the rest of you sweet ladies.

Morning all, It's been raining but not to bad.
I've been talking with my sister when my aunt's were sick and she had told me about my niece, her daughter. She confirmed that she was an alcoholic and she's so young. Can't keep a job. She depended on her dad, who abused alcohol while he was alive but now she's been depending on her mom. My sis told me that she has a dwi and that she's cutting the apron/money strings on bailing her out. That was the last straw. I know it's been tough on my sis to do this but I do understand. My niece has even posted pictures of herself on FB at drug parties and doing heroine. This is why I'm depressed. My sis says it's time for her to pay for her choices. I know that she, my niece will have to hit rock bottom before seeking help. My sis has tried counseling sessions but my niece is not ready for this.

Annie
Have you though of putting brown highlights in your hair? My aunt does this and it looks good on her.

Happy
I am going to go with the insurance program. Been wanting an excuse to buy the FitBit.

Okay, the plant has come back on so I need to go downstairs and bleed off a line to see if that will help. Don't think it will as I think that's for the wells themselves.

Morning all.

Ceejay – My condolences to you on the death of your aunt. You certainly seem to have longevity going on your mom’s side of the family. I’m sad to hear about your niece’s alcohol abuse issues. What a very difficult thing for a parent to have to finally stop rescuing a child from their own choices. It must be so troubling for you and the rest of your family. I hope she seeks help before it’s too late. I also hope your sis continues with counseling (or perhaps a support group) to help cope with this. Re the programs your insurance offers – my insurance offers that too. I wasn’t very committed when I did that a few years ago, but I might give it another try in the future.

Happy – No secret re the water bottle – here’s the link: http://www.amazon.com/Thermos-Intak-.../dp/B001EGO64U Aside from the usual features, it also has a ring around the lid that acts as a meter to track the volume of water you drink – nothing fancy - you manually turn the ring to the next number each time you refill it. Re the Doobie Brothers – I don’t like them, especially the voice of M. McDonald, so I don’t know who’s still in the band and not. That’s a show that bf will go to with his friends and I will not. You are so right – no one you see on tv or in movies is natural anymore - they’ve all been altered in some way. Well, maybe there are some older male actors who haven’t done anything to themselves, but that’s about it. I hope you make a dent in your to-do list today!

Annie – I can see not going back to your natural color if your natural color is now more white or gray than brown, lol. I don't think I'd be ready for that! Thanks for offering the water bottles, but please don’t go to any trouble. We actually have a lot of water bottles we don't use that are just taking up cabinet space and bf mentioned getting rid of a bunch once we get our new ones.

Hellos to the rest of you! Hope you’re having a good Thursday/Friday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nothing much to report. I’m down to my last pad of checks, so I ordered another box yesterday. What an ordeal! I knew the pricing had changed (the last time I ordered checks was 2009!), so I decided to call the 800 number instead of using the old order form. The rep tried to upsell me on everything, and what I really didn’t like was how she tried to make a lot of the fees sound like they were not optional, and I had to keep pushing back to just get a single box of checks. Very annoying. I might as well have just gone to a different company if they decided to treat a returning customer that way. Grrr. I think I will next time...but that'll be a long long time from now since I use very very few checks anymore. How about you - how many checks do you use in a month or year?
This morning at work has been something of a train wreck. Hope the afternoon is better!
Tonight I’ll go to the circuit class. I haven't worked out since Saturday and I'm feeling guilty about it!
Signing off now...
LAURA...
Why are the diffferent colors, different prices on the water bottles? Checks, funny I just ordered and received new checks last week. I only order them about every 4 years. I rarely use them either. I just go through the bank to get them. Easier and about the same price as on-line once you factor in shipping etc.
(CNN)Get out your lace hankies and prepare to sob quietly.
"Downton Abbey," the cultural juggernaut that offered the unwashed masses a glimpse into the staid yet dramatic life of early 20th-century English nobility, will end with its sixth season.
The show announced the decision Thursday and offered a warm thanks on Twitter to fans who've stuck with it through five seasons of "Upstairs, Downstairs"-style intrigue.
quick post to answer Happy's question about Santa...yes, he was named Santo by his previous owners after Ron Santo. And being a brewer fan, I couldn't have a dog named after a Chicago cub. I didn't want to change his name too much since he was 2 years old when I got him. Plus since he has the white beard and mustache, Santa seemed like a good name.
Annie – Yeh, I don't get that pricing except maybe different sellers have different colors. I try to have to all come direct from amazon.
Re DA - guess I'm not surprised. I like the show but wasn't sure where it could really go after this. We'll see.
Michelle – I thought so.
I'm still here and home for the weekend. Not feeling too well. Chronic indigestion and reflux. Stress!
Handed my notice in yesterday. Will finish in Melbourne 10th April.
Back tomorrow.
Hi ladies,
Quick post as it's nearly bedtime. The phone and email were quiet today, but I found another job at Apple that I'm a perfect fit for, so I asked the man from the dog park who works at Apple to submit my resume through their internal process for a third position. I told you he submitted me for two others earlier in the week. Such a nice man. He's been with Apple for 35 years. He and his wife are so nice and their dogs are super sweet.
Today I did some cardio at the gym, followed by lower body strength training with my trainer. I'm only working out with her once a week. Then this afternoon, I went to see an orthopedist about my very sore shoulder...I've had the pain for about 5 months and it's getting worse. They took an xray. I have calcium deposits in my tendon so everytime I use that tendon, it hurts like heck. There is surgery to drain the calcium, but not many surgeons have done the surgery. The doc wanted me to just do ice, stretches and physical therapy, and I explained that I only have insurance until the end of April, so she asked if I wanted a cortisone shot...I said yes please. As she was giving me the shot, she tried to wiggle the needle around to maybe break up the calcium deposit, but she was doing it "blind". She said the calcium was not from taking too much calcium but rather is very common in women who are diabetic and who have low thyroid...and before surgery I was all three. I just hope it helps. She also said that there are some upper body strengthening exercises I can do, and she gave me diagrams to show my trainer which ones I can do and which ones I can't.
Tomorrow morning is physical therapy, followed by a haircut. And tomorrow evening, I'm either getting together with a friend from Oregon who is in town for the weekend for Bob's memorial service on Sunday, or I'm going to Bariatric support group, or I'm going to the dog park.
I really hope you all are doing okay.
Annie, I saw I got two missed calls from you...but by the time I saw the missed calls, it was too late to call you due to the time difference. I hope you're ok.
Much love to all,
Shad - sorry that things came to a head but if it's negatively affecting you, then it's probably for the best. Sounds like things are getting even more bizzare on the work front. Hard to stay afloat with all the insanity. As always, do what is best for you.
Laura - that bottle is very similar to the style that I have too and I really like it a lot. I will have to look at others - no wait. I don't need another. But I can see why you like it. Regarding checks - I bought 4 boxes when we moved here 3 years ago because I got a deal on the pricing and figured we were not going to change banks or move any time soon. I would say it's probably a 1:3 ratio of checks to online bill pay. I think we have used slightly less than half the checks in the 3 and a half years we have been here. Also there are several places in town - including a VERY popular candy and fudge shop - that only take cash or checks. No credit or debit cards. I'm sure it's because they don't want to pay the bank fees and not at all to underreport their sales
Ceejay - I am sorry to hear of your niece's problems and I empathise with your sister. It seems with addictions that one has to hit rock bottom in order to turn their life around because no amount of care, yelling, cajoling or prison can make a person change what they don't want to. I am sad to hear that drug use is more prevalent than back in the 70's when I was young. I hope she can get back clean and sober. Soon.
Annie - I sort of figured that this would be the last season of Downton Abbey. I sure wish they would film more than 11 hours in a "season". Maybe we can get a couple of extra episodes to wind up all the story lines? Probably not I hate to see something with good writing end. Back to the Food Network I guess. I hear you on the hair rut thing - I have baby fine, straight hair and a square face and eye glasses so that really limits styles. Long hair does not look good once you get older, especially if you don't have a lot of it so I reluctantly had to give that style up. Doesn't leave me with many options other than the standard mid length bob. I fantasize about losing weight and maybe being able to wear more styles Why did you decide to just keep the angled cut for only one go round?
I had a fairly productive day today. Got 4 loads of laundry done, 3 more to go. I figured I was pushing it with 4 loads of water in the septic system although thank goodness we are not getting a lot of ground seepage due to melting snow this year. I got a bunch of greeting cards prepared to send out tomorrow because DH had to get to the post office today before I was ready to send my stuff along with him.
I had to fiddle with a recent Kohl's order. I got the magic 40 percent off from the email as well as a $10 off card for intimates. Wouldn't you know it, I don't like most of the stuff that came. Why are bras so darn hard to fit???? Worse than buying shoes. I had to spend $40 to get the $10 off and most of the bras are getting returned. I'm keeping 3 and wouldn't you know it that those 3 came to $39.70 - I will lose 10 bucks off because the 3 I am keeping are 30 cents less than the amount you had to spend. Kohl's now too splits and order into 12 separate shipments so I had to assemble all the stuff I am returning and match up receipts so I have one neat package to take to customer service. It's getting to be a pain to shop there. Please don't go the way of Sears and Penneys Kohls. That took well over 90 minutes of assembling and try ons.
Then I went an paid my JC Penneys bill. I noticed that even though I have outstanding credit I had a measly $500 credit limit on this credit card and worse than that, an interest rate of 26.99 percent I called customer service and had a really difficult time getting through to a human. When I finally did they said everyone got that rate - it was the rate for people with Excellent credit - others had higher rates. And they would ask if my limit could be increased if I wanted it. I said no way. That is robbery - seriously I don't understand how credit cards can pay you .0000001 percent interest on your money and charge you 27 percent interest on credit. Thank you proponents of free enterprise, deregulation and big business. I said obviously JC Penney does not want my business so cancel the card, I don't need it and I will take my business elsewhere. She said - once you cancel, you can't go back - I said that's ok, I don't want to. Oh but you will lose offers to card holders. Don't want them either. Maybe I'm just one person and customer service reps don't want to hear this but it's time to take a stand. JCP is struggling big time. I bought some linens and curtains from them but the quality of their clothing (which was once a favorite) is now cheap and flimsy. I also cancelled my American Express last month - a card I have held since 1986. I hated to do that but I don't travel any more and paying $55 a year to hold a card I never use didn't make sense. I have their blue card also which I am about to cancel because of a similar ridiculous interest rate. Actually I pay my bill in full each month and never carry a balance so interest rates don't really affect me but it's the principle of it.
I also returned an overdue library book (one way to support the library ) It was the Chopped (tv show) Cookbook and I liked it so much I actually ordered a gently used copy from an outside seller. I saw a dish that caught my eye and it was funny that DH pointed out the very same dish. Since I had the ingredients on hand, I made it. Very easy and quite delicious. Take a skirt steak, trim it and cut it into strips - like fajita sized strips. Season with salt and pepper and let it rest. Bring a pot of water to boil for a bag of wide egg noodles. While the water is coming up to temperature, finely dice some onion. Saute gently in a bit of olive oil until soft, then add minced garlic for another 30 seconds of cooking until fragrant. Add to this mix a can of Italian seasoned chopped tomatoes in sauce. Add more dried basil and Italian Seasonings for flavor. Simmer to cook out the canned taste for at least 20 minutes while the other stuff is cooking. You can also use fresh cherry tomatoes and smash them in the pan after they get soft from cooking a while but DH does not like cherry tomatoes or all their seeds (silly boy) so I used canned. While the sauce is simmering and the noodles are cooking, heat a pan to medium high heat. Add some olive oil or I use a compound butter I make ahead of time where I add several cloves of garlic from a garlic press to softened butter and stir in some parsley flakes and refrigerate to be used as I need it for sautéing meat. Add the strip steak to the pan and cook for about 8 minutes, until it is cooked to the doneness you like. I actually cooked this all through even though we favor a medium rare. Turn off the heat and let the meat sit in the pan for a few minutes to rest so that you don't get blood or juices on your dish. Meanwhile drain the egg noodles, add a healthy dash of butter and chopped parsley the them. Toss to coat. Put the noodles on a plate, top with some of the tomato sauce. Add some fresh grated Parmesan Cheese and finish off with the steak strips. Yum yum yum - this was soooo good. You can marinate the meat with anything of your choosing as well as season it with other herbs but I find that when the meat is of good quality (from the farm co-op), salt and pepper are all the seasoning it needs. Let the flavor of the meat shine through. I'm glad there was only one serving of this and DH took the extra on his plate because I would have been tempted for seconds on this. It sounds complicated but it was actually quite easy to put together.
Well I have been on this website for almost 2 hours diddling so I will post this and bid you all a good night. Time to hit the comfy bed. Sleep well all - rest up Shad!
I just said good bye to R leaving for work @ 5am. I thought I'd touch base before napping till 7am & starting my day. It's been a extremely busy week for me w work & personally. My mamo still shows a oddly shaped nodule w a small cluster near it so I had a appt w a breast surgeon that ordered a needle biopsy for April 10 & if it's benign, I'll continue the 6 month mamo w US she said. I told her if it's cancer w stage 1, I'll feel blessed because of 11yrs of what I've lived through w my Dh cancer & my 2 brothers struggle & sister to live during their cancer & their death. Please add me to your prayers for my biopsy. I had a dental cleaning & had a repeat of the same question I get @ every cleaning w a big compliment on my bright smile; what tooth whitening system am I using? It's from me eating a variety of peaches, nectarines or strawberries weekly that naturally whitens my teeth.
R is going back to WI to help dS1 w his home after work today. Because I got bored & lonely last weekend by myself, I'm having my 2 oldest g-babes (boy 13 & girl 11) stay w me & take them to see Cinderella Saturday night. They begin their spring break so I may try to keep them a few days more & rework my job schedule.
Ceejay~ I'm very sorry for the passing of your beloved family member & the heartache that your sister is going through w her daughter, my prayers r w all of U. I hope U enjoy your Fitbit, I like my Vivofit. When U feel sad maybe take a beauty bath w music & scented candles & give yourself a facial & a mani-pedi & paint your piggies pretty for sandals. This reminds me to check my shea butter & coconut oil to replenish. I hope U can get together w your sister to play or send her a handwritten note.
Laura & Happy~ I smiled when U talked about the water bottles. Reminds me that I need to put all of ours together & clean them, freshen w a solution of baking soda for the warm weather. I have a few w the meters also in different colors from Amazon, for different purposes.
I'm sleepy, I'll b back later for more personals when the kiddos r busy or sleeping tonight.
Have a wonderful weekend girls
TGIF-FO SHO-and GOOD FRIDAY (payday), of course out the door on bills, on the brighter side, the money is there to make the payments!
Took Miss Sass-a-cakes to the vet for her nail appointment. It is worth 14 bucks every few months so we don't have to do it. I am just not good at it and end up making a bloody mess. Leave it to the pro's! She did great, not even a whimper and got two treats on the way out of the vets. They all just love all over her since she is so small and sweet and she loves them right back.
Gotsta go get some coffee and iced tea. Will do personals later.
CHELLE...no was just calling to check on how your day went and how you are doing. hugs.
Make it a great Friday if I don't get back, may cut my day short and do some errands.
Hugs all.
Morning all. Happy Friday. Woke up to a dusting of snow. It's sunny out now - hope it melts quickly!
Shad – I hope you have a chance to relax this weekend and recover from your workweek. I’m sure the 10th can’t come quickly enough for you. Hang in there!!
Michelle – Good luck with the position at Apple. It helps to have connections! I’m so sorry to hear your shoulder problem is so painful. I sure hope the cortisone shot helps. Re the doc wiggling the needle around
Happy – There’s a few places in our area that don’t take debit or credit, including Johnny’s Beef. I suppose they’d have to accept checks for large (catering) orders. The bagel place doesn’t take plastic either... We usually use cash if that’s the case. I buy single boxes of checks, and those have 125 checks, and if I haven’t purchased checks since 2009, that’s about 6 years, or about 20 checks a year average. And I’m certain it was more back then vs. the past couple years. I’ve written 3-4 checks in the past few weeks, and that’s a LOT for me nowadays. How times have changed. I’m sure the 6th season of DA will try to wrap up the storylines, though it seemed they did a lot of that at the end of this last one, not completely, but enough. Oh well, we'll see come January. Gosh, bra shopping is probably the worst. After trying on a bunch of bras, my skin is irritated after dealing with the new (stiff/scratchy) fabric – ugh. Bf tells me when I find a bra I like to buy in multiples. Okay, clearly logical, but you don’t really know if you like it enough until you’ve worn it for a bit. And then you forget…and then you do shop some more and like everything else, the model you liked isn’t available or has changed slightly. Bleh. Wow, that’s the rate for excellent credit customers?? Geez. Speaking of Penney’s – a friend said they were closing the store at Woodfield, and when we were in the area a couple weeks ago, it looked like they were still open but part of their space had been closed off. Sad to see them having hard times, even if I grew up with Sears (also dying a painful death). Honestly, I don’t know where you go to find good quality clothing and shoes anymore. Some specific brands are good. Lands’ End and LL Bean are alright, but the styles are basic and casual and not for everyone or for every occasion. I noticed the athletic shoes and other shoes at Famous Footware all seemed to have been made in Viet Nam. Leather isn't what it used to be, and it seems a lot of glue is used vs. stitchery. I digress. Anyway, don’t blame you for paring down your credit cards. Why have a store card with a low limit and high rates, especially when you're no longer satisfied with their products? And why pay an annual fee if you have other cards that have no fee? Yum, the steak/noodle dish sounds delicious and fairly easy. Great idea to put together the compound butter – the parsley you use is the dried parsley variety? I should think that would hold longer. Yum, just imagining cooking a steak in that butter!
Dee – I hope the biopsy goes well, will certainly keep you in my thoughts. How nice to have two of your grandkids staying with you this weekend. I’m sure the 11-year old girl would like Cinderella…good luck with the 13-year old boy, lol.
Annie – I completely agree re getting someone else to trim the doggy nails. Well worth it!!! Of course it’s a lot easier for them with little Sassy. Coal hates it and they need “assistance” when he comes in (even if he’s taken some of his calming pills in advance of the appointment), and of course that costs a bit extra. Poor baby, he gets so scared, and is so relieved when it’s all done.
Terra - How was school yesterday? What did you cook? I hope you and Scott can get to the dance tomorrow.
Hellos to the rest of you! Have a great weekend.
Nothing much to report for me. I didn’t go to the circuit class. I did a load of laundry and a 30-second plank instead, lol. I will go to a class on Saturday morning. If I were feeling more brave, I’d go to that challenging class they have on Friday nights and then have Saturday morning open for other things. Because I have the yogalaties class until May, I only bought a punchcard for the equivalent of 1 class per week. I’d always like to get more than 2 workouts in per week, but it never works out that way lately, so I'm playing it safe with the punchcard.
Nothing going on this weekend except stuff around the house. I didn’t do laundry last weekend, so I have several loads this weekend. And then there’s a couple dog walks. And going through the mountain of mail that I’ve let pile up. Bleh. Oh well, I’ll have the tv going and it’ll help.
TTFN!
