Hello all,
Happy Friday. I have so much to do. I am hitching a ride with a friend and taking a short trip to Chicago. We leave Good Friday (a week from today) and I am basically coming in to surprise my Mom so we can be together for Easter. I was talking to her yesterday and she asked "isn't anyone planning on coming down to Chicago soon??? I said, "'fraid not Mom, they all seem to be busy but I will come down in the summer". I am getting a ride to Palatine and my sister will pick me up at Woodfield Mall. She is going to walk in the door at home and tell my Mom she picked up something for her at the mall and then I will walk in the door and yell "SURPRISE"!!!!!! It will make her happy. And yes, the irony that I will be in Palatine and Woodfield Mall Laura but this is a rush trip and I am not even sure I will be staying much more than a long weekend so I can't really make any plans for this trip I am not saying anything about it on Facebook because there are some FB friends who might question why I am not making plans to get together or might spill the beans to my Mom. But I have a lot I want to get done before I go and the days are going quickly past me. It will be interesting, I have not been to Woodfield Mall in 11 years - I hear things have changed a bit. Interesting to hear that the JCP there will be closing. Would not think that would be one of the stores since they always did a good business and it was one of my go-to places when shopping for work clothes. They closed the JCP at our tiny mall in the next town last year - it's where I got a lot of the display fixtures for the thrift shop. When we walked through the Sears store the last time at the mall - it was dead in there, even though it was near Christmas and the rest of the mall was crowded. Sorry to see these big stores shut down.
To your question Laura I put dried parsley and herbs in the compound butter and used fresh chopped parsley in the parsley buttered noodles. But only because I had some fresh on hand. I might use fresh herbs in compound butter but only if I was going to use it within a day or two. When I do the garlic butter, I keep it in the refrigerator and use it as I need it - I just figure the dried herbs will hold up better. A touch of butter, a bit of olive oil - really makes a flavorful sear on the meat. The pig lard I rendered also is a nice sauté option - even for eggs. The good news is that you only need a tiny bit of it, but it does tend to splatter a lot like bacon grease would. I went a bit overboard at the market with the fresh fruit - I sure have a lot of it to eat before I go. They had a giant box of strawberries at Walmart and they smelled so good. The small box did not have a strawberry scent even though the berries looked nice. I have learned that no scent = no taste, which means they got picked before they ripened and we gassed on the way to market. We had some sliced strawberries and rice pudding for dessert the other night and I ate a few berries but have to cut up the rest and either freeze them or make a sauce or something. Ugh a lady bug crawled in my coffee cup and I almost drank it Nina sees a bug on the wall and it makes her go nuts. She barks at it and chatters and runs all over whatever - animal, furniture or human - to get at it.
Laura - this must be the week for catching up on laundry
Terra - that would be nice if you and Scott can get to the dance. Hope so. Have fun!
Annie - we have to do the vet thing with Meadow and her nails. I wish we could sedate her for an hour and do it ourselves but she is soooo skittish. I try to tell her she would not have to go through the trauma of getting snatched and zipped into the carrier bag if only she'd let us do this ourselves but NO. And like Sassy, when she is at the vet, she is very calm and lets them do their thing. It's nice everyone fusses over Sassy - how can you resist those sweet eyes and face? Did Sissy make it through her babysitting adventure ok with all those kids?
Dee - I hope all turns out well with the breast nodule. That has to be scary, especially if there is a history of cancer in the family. I'm not sure how you avoid it except for awareness and routine exams. I think a lot of it has to do with luck of the draw too - the gene just "turns on" for some people. Hope you have things to do while R is away so you aren't missing him too much.
Michelle - bummer on the shoulder - I didn't realize you can get calcium deposits on the tendons. Hope you can manage the pain for the time being. It's good that you were given some alternates for exercising. Good luck on the job hunt.
Well it's noon - half the day is over. Best get busy here. Have a good weekend everyone.
Afternoon all.
Feeling better mentally this afternoon but the physical side of me is still that I don't want to move. This is day 5 out of 10 days straight. It's okay, L, did it for me last week.
The ups man sent me an email that I received via phone that he'd been to my house again yesterday. So I sent one back and paid extra for a delivery change of address and he brought to me at work. That was within 5 minutes of the email. I was shocked when he phoned and said he was down stairs. The package is still not opened. Last night I had to go to Walmart and decided that since my sister and bil had fit bits that I would get one too.
However, I've been a sloth today. I've linked it to MFP and I'm going to link it to my insurance page.
Looks like the light office has forgotten to switch over the phone. Sometimes they do it without checking. They switched it twice last night!!
I still need to do 30 minutes of exercise think I'll stop by the grocer store on the way home and walk around in there for that time.

Dee
So sorry the mammogram was not normal. Praying the biopsy is good.
Laura
We are supposed to have snow flurries tonight and tomorrow. It sure is cold today.
Michelle
Congrats on the new job at Apple. Is this the one in SF?
Terra
Do you set times to do your exercises?
Happy
I don't use credit cards to often any more because of the high interest rate. I use my prepaid debit card. I did use one on my trip to buy a tank of gas for my bil on our way back from Houston to Dallas.
Short and sweet this morning since I am going to go to the vacuum cleaner shop as my expensive machine has given up the ghost. I will take it with me but don't expect too much Joy with it. What a pain.
Ceejay - I am sorry to hear of the death of an Aunt. You are fortunate to have had the older generation for so long. If you ever think about doing a family tree get the information required now before it is too late.
Let us know how you go with the fitbit. I've thought about it but I'm not doing enough exercise with this job so I know I don't have the use for it yet.
Dee - also sorry to hear of the nodule cluster in the breast. Take care and get it checked regularly. The dreadful disease seems to be taking hold of more and more people.
Happy - so nice that you are going to surprise your mum for Easter.
Okay that's it for today. I need to go do some shopping for basic items. Then I should get into that spare room and see what I can do in there. I don't think there I much I can do in the garden. Every thing planned is going to take more time than I have at home for the moment and there is no point in planting any veges until I am permanently here again. No one around to water it.
So have a good day.
Shad
Glad you have a week end at home. You need some down time.
I'm loving my fit bit.
------
Nothing new since yesterday. Made my calorie burn goal yesterday. So I have a few extra calories to eat today.
Brought my single burner to work today. Didn't have time to fix anything last night so I 'll do it today. Gonna make a mac and cheese tuna casserole.
Laura ~ School was good on Thursday, We made Soft Taco's with Hamburger
Happy ~ We arent going to the spring dance cause its across town
Ceejay52 ~ Yes I exercise at certain times of the day
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woke up at 8 a.m. Its now 8:47 a.m. My plans for today are to do my 40 min. Chair Exercises at 11 a.m. and then go for a walk for 30 mins to an hour at 1:00 p.m. today. I also have plans to help clean out the garage and the shed.
Oh happy day - I thought it was Sunday. We have a fundraising event to help out at which will bust up my day. I looked at the calendar and see it is really Saturday which means I have the whole day to myself. I can use it.
Ceejay- Glad you like the fitbit. If you want to be fitbit buddies (haha, i first typed that as biddies), let me know and I'll message you with my email address.
Shad - we just bought a belt for our vacuum today & the guy showed us the Miele line of vacs. So quiet!!! We have a Miele dishwasher and it's been excellent & it's quiet too. That might be our next vac brand.
Happy - how nice you'll be visiting your mom over Easter. And what a nice plan to surprise her. Too bad there won't be time for us to get together, but I'm sure it’ll happen someday...
Terra - Sorry you & Scott won't go to the dance.
Hellos to everyone!
☆☆☆☆
Feeling lucky right now. No hot water this morning, but bf was able to change out the thermocoupler on the the water heater and we're back in business. Our water heater was installed by us in 2002, so we're on borrowed time with it.
The vacuum cleaner also gave us problems today & it turns out we should be replacing the belt every year. Now that we've got a new one in there, it's also been set to rights. Yes!!!
I probably should have thought twice about using the washer today given our issues with household equipment today, but I'm doing some laundry. So far, so good, knock wood.
Hi Everyone. From Wednesday on it has been a tough week physically. Long story short, I have had a reaction to the medicine that my dermatologist put me on (the topical med). It took me a couple of days to figure it out. I started using it on Monday like she told me to. By Wednesday I felt like I had the flu, was dizzy, headache, hurt all over. I was still pushing through. I went to bed really early that night and felt better but not a lot of energy. Then I started getting sore at the sight where they used the liquid nitrogen to burn away the lesions. Friday morning, I was hurting so badly. I went back and read the side effects of the medicine. For 3 % of people, it causes flu like symptoms and soreness and open sores at the site it is being applied to. I didn't use the medicine last night. I still have an open sore but my flu like symptoms are gone.
The dermatologist office was closed on Friday and not open today. This open sore is looking bad. It if it is like this tomorrow I am going to Urgent Care to have it looked at. I think it is infected. I will follow-up with the dermatologist on Monday, but I will not be using that topical medicine ever again.
My DH got some good news at his 3 month check-up with the surgeon who will do his fistula repair (sometime). He is not having any symptoms of diverticulitis nor from the fistula. So she moved him from a therapeutic dose of flagel and cipro to a suppressive one. Meaning his meds were cut in half. Also, since he first saw her in Oct he has lost 42 lbs! she was thrilled--a lot of that weight loss happened Jan-March. She said unless he has issues, she will see him again in July and we will talk the surgery then. She wants another 30 off by his July 28 appt date, but she said she will take 20-25. He said to her, it will be 30.
Happy: Your mom is going to be so surprised for Easter!
Ceejay: I'm sorry for your loss.
Shad: That job was toxic...the next one will be better. Be gentle with yourself for a few weeks.
Dee: you are certainly in my prayers and I am praying for that April 10th appt.
Michelle: I hope things work out for the Apple job. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your shoulder. Hopefully they can get that worked out while you are still on your insurance.
Did I see you post something about Bob's memorial? When is it?
Laura: Fingers crossed that the household equipment behaves!
Annie: Saw your posts on FB of the homemade noodles. Showed my DH--he loves homemade noodles....he said he would be right there!
Terra: sorry to hear that you and Scott missed the dance. What else do you have planned this weekend? Any Walmart shopping to do?
Ok..I'm headed to bed. Urgent Care opens at 10 and I want to be there ahead of the crowd.
Evening all,
Short post before I turn in early to get up early to catch an early flight. 2nd to last week of doing this. Thank goodness
Been a pretty lazy weekend. Haven't done much apart from fertilising and watering the garden, getting the laundry done and cleaning in the kitchen. Just didn't feel like doing anything.
So there isn't much to report. Hope that you are all enjoying your weekend and at least achieving a lot more than I am.
Laura
Would love to have a fit bit buddie. My co-worker was complaing about no hot water this morning in the sink. We have those very small hot water heaters. It's been acting like it has air in the lines so I looked this morning and it's leaking. It looks like it's rusting out too. It's 15 years old so what can one say.
Susie
Did you go to Urgent Care today? Don't blame you for getting there first. I have a couple of things that need to be taken care of before my doctor comes back from vacation. I'll be going to the doctor I used in Jonesboro.
Shad
Safe travels.
Happy
Hope you have enjoyed your day.
I was thankful this morning that the guy who mowed the lawn last year called me this morning to see if I wanted him to mow again this year. I said YES. I'm definitely to tired to do it myself.
As I mentioned earlier my doctor is on vacation and will not be back till 4-7-15. I have a few problems that need to be seen about. I brought back a tick from Texas. I found it Monday and have been doctoring it myself but I do want to make sure that it's all out of my arm. I also am having symptoms of a bladder infection. I don't want to let this go for to long and end up in the emergency room. And it wouldn't hurt to get something for the allergies. And the wrist that I hurt when I fell off my bike is still swollen some and if I move it a certain way it ouches a bit.
I've been logging my food in myfitnesspal and using my fit bit is making me more aware of what I put in my mouth.
I've worked L's shift and now starting on my four days. 7 out 10 day down. I'm doing well I might add. Been taking my b12 and getting enough sleep. Can't do everything so I pick one chore and leave the rest. Tonight it's ironing three pair of jeans and folding white clothes.
Monday, Monday,,,,,and here we go folks..............
Got my egg noodles made for Easter dinner next Saturday evening. YUM! Now part of my crew want chicken n noodles the other want beef n noodles. Probably go with chicken as I don't use much beef in my house and have chicken on hand. Need to get my Easter baskets down and figure out what to put in them. I still make baskets for my kidlets and for the grandbabes, even one for C. Just crazy and sometimes wish to stop doing it, but every time I mention it, my kids through a fit about it. No one makes me an Easter basket. Whoa is me. haha
C gets his colonoscopy on Wednesday morning. I will be taking him, get him home, tucked in and head to work. Trying not to use up all my PTO days, even tho I have 8 more, I may need them for Sissy's wedding.
My boss has become jabber jaws this morning. Figures as his wife and kiddo are in Destin, FL this week for spring break. I will come back for personals.
Mornin' everyone,
Had a nice weekend - yesterday was a good and bads kind of day. It started with us getting some sleet in the wee hours of the morning - not as much as they predicted thank goodness. I was looking on FB and a yoga friend posted some really nice bald eagle shots. I showed them to DH and he said the lake was about a 30 minute ride from our place so he got dressed and headed out there. About 10 minutes after he left I heard a weird noise - it was snow crunching - part sleet / part snow. It was snowing like crazy. I jumped in the shower and as I was getting dried off DH came back - said there were a bunch of eagles at the lake and he even saw 8 of them in one tree. He was all excited UNTIL he realized that he had taken the battery out of his camera and left it to charge here at the house He grabbed the battery and headed back out again. I told him to be careful. He came back about 30 minutes later and said as he headed out he saw 2 separate cars rolled over in ditch situations and decided that it wasn't worth getting into an accident just to get some photos. He got cleaned up and we headed to a fund raiser for the Humane Society. He was asked to be the photographer. I was a various helper out'er Don't know if it was the weather or what but attendance was disappointing. Part of it was a baking contest and there weren't many entries. Had I known I would have attempted something but I am a savory cook and not a dessert baker, but I would have tried anyway. We made (funds raised) about 1/4 of what we did last year. They had 4 different competitions - one of which was best dog biscuits. One of the rescue dogs was the judge. Several of the entries were shaped like dog bones but one was a peanut butter oatmeal jobber that was shaped like a dog turd. The dog judge was allowed to sniff each entry and then they pulled him back for a minute and then let him loose and whichever plate he went to was the winner. Crazy dog went right after those turd cookies like they were gold It was pretty funny. I was asked to help out at the end writing up credit card payments and counting the cash box. It's funny how many people "oh I DON'T want to deal with money". You would think they were putting their hands into a box of bugs or something. They just don't want to "be responsible". As I was prepping, DH was done with his photography duties and was itching to get back to the eagle lake. By then the weather broke, it was sunny out and I knew I'd be there awhile so I told him to go and take some shots. I got all my duties done and was sitting in the bar waiting for him. He was all excited except for the part where he was hurrying to get back to pick me up and got stopped by a cop for speeding. He was lucky to get just a warning. We stopped at the submarine sandwich shop to pick up some dinner and he realized he could not find the SD card he had switched out of his camera. The one with ALL the photos he had taken at the event. We looked all over - no dice. We went back to the restaurant, told the hostess but had little hope of finding a postage sized black plastic card on a dark patterned rug in a large room. I did a sweep and before I finished DH proclaimed it wasn't there and wanted to leave as our sandwiches were getting cold. He was very bummed out on himself. I left my name and number with the hostess and said that if anyone picked up the card and looked at the contents, they'd know what it was from and more than likely would return it since we were all there for the animals. Just before the restaurant closed for the night we got a call - the hostess found the card on the floor at the next table I WOULD have looked at had DH not shoo'ed me out of there. So all ended well, thank goodness. I had 2 tiny samplings of cake and the sugar really hit me. I just can't eat that stuff any more. Probably a good thing.
Today I REALLY need to kick it into gear and get ready for my trip. I was going to send a few extra clothes to my sister's house and it's do or die today or not bother. I have yoga in 90 minutes - it's the last session of the Kundalini class so I don't want to miss it. Wednesday is supposed to be unseasonably gorgeous out and again I don't want to miss yoga since I will miss it next week. I'm sure DH will want to do something but maybe we can do it in the morning before my 2pm class. The clock is ticking in overdrive...
Annie - my Mom used to fix Easter baskets for us "not so kids" and I thought it was really, really cute. I'm glad you keep the tradition alive. Your noodles looked yummy. That's funny that your boss is a jabber jaws with no one at home. Usually guys are the quiet ones - or at least that's what they like to think Smart of you to save some of your time off for later this year - you will probably need it.
Ceejay- it sounds like you have to be careful with the stomach or it sets into motion a whole host of problems. I hope you feel better and can avoid a doctor's visit. You iron jeans??? Haha I don't even know where my iron is... haven't fired her up since I moved here. If it needs ironing, I don't use it or wear it Good for you for getting the lawn handled by someone else - some things are worth paying someone for.
Shad - sounds like you are crashing a bit. This was a tense one, eh? Glad to be done with it. Just finish what you need to and get back home again. Don't get too stressed
Susie - what a horrid reaction. I hope you will be ok. Did you go to urgent care on the weekend? You raise a valid point with the reaction. How many times have I felt like I was getting a cold from out of no where never giving it a thought that those symptoms could be a reaction to something else. Wow - kudos to DH - he really is putting the pedal to the metal on the weight loss and regain his health back. Great job!
Laura - I will have to keep that Miele brand in mind. Our Sears vacumn is not working right - we replaced the carpet head and that didn't fix it so DH returned it and ordered a new pole connection because it appears the part the head plugs into is corroded. That was half the cost of a new appliance but if that doesn't fix it, we will have to look for another canister model. You might want to consider replacing that hot water heater soon - you are right - they are made to last about 10 years and you are on borrowed time - you know they ALWAYS die at the most inappropriate times.
Hellos to the rest of the crew. I'm going to grab some breakfast and get ready for yoga class. Have a good day everyone.
Susie – I’m so sorry you had a bad reaction to the med the derm dr prescribed. I hope the wound isn’t infected – was urgent care helpful? Of course it’s always the weekend when these things become something we’re really worried about. Big congrats to DH on his weight loss and the decrease of his meds!! Great news. Re the household equipment – turns out these things happen in threes…more below.
Shad – I’m glad you didn’t pack in so much this past weekend – you needed some decompression time. Hope your travels went smoothly. Countdown is on at work – 8 more days!!
Ceejay – Nice you’re having the service do the lawn again this season - as Happy said, well worth it. Before too long it’ll be time for my bf to get the mowing started and I’ll have to hear the usual whining about the heat, equipment, etc. Some household staff would be nice! Oy, you have a laundry list of ailments to bring to the doctor – can you go somewhere to see someone sooner? I’d be worried about that tick too.
Annie – Yum re those noodles, with chicken or beef, doesn't matter, I know it'll be tasty. What, no one gives you an Easter basket??!! No fair!! I think you need to do the “hint, hint” thing to the hub and kids…but I bet you enjoy making up their baskets and giving them to them more than you would receiving your own. Good luck to C with the colonoscopy on Wed, and I hope the prep isn’t too awful for him. My annual physical is usually around March-April, but I haven’t made an appointment yet, and I know when I finally get in there my doc will expect me to schedule a colonoscopy now that I’m fifty. Ugh, not looking forward to that at all, but I will do it.
Happy – Nice of both of you to help out at the humane society fundraiser. Too bad the turnout and funds raised were a disappointment. LOL re the dog going for the turd-shaped cookies, but not surprising that the peanut butter drew him – dogs just love it. Nice that dh got out to get photos of the eagles. What a scare about the lost SD card!! Thank goodness it was found – hey, didn’t a similar thing happen to you a while back? Why do I think that? Lucky day for dh – got off the speeding violation with a warning, and the lost SD card was found. You’re right about the water heater, probably should replace it before it fails. The only positive I can think of with the prospect looming of replacing it ourselves is that bf is even more skilled and experienced with plumbing than he was back then, so it should go alright. The worst part (IMO) will be removing that fiberglass blanket on the old one. Bah.
Hellos to the rest of the Worldlies!
~~
Well, we got through the rest of Saturday with no further home appliance mishaps. I walked doggy, did some laundry, and in the evening we watched the movie “Nightcrawler” (enjoyed it, Jake Gyllenhall played quite the character), and all was fine.
On Sunday I slept in ‘til just after 9 am! Odd, because I’m usually up early-ish on the weekends. I lazed around most of the morning and did some more laundry. Walked doggy, bf and I went to lunch, then stopped at Walmart. Back home, I watched some dvr’d tv.
At one point in the evening, bf went to the kitchen to refill his water glass. He found water pooled in front of the fridge, and pouring out of the freezer when he opened it. Aaaargh! So there was water upstairs, and I ran down to the basement and there was water down there coming from the ceiling directly below the kitchen where the fridge is. My initial response was that we should turn off the water supply. Bf’s was to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. I finally got him to focus on remembering where the water shutoff for the water line that supplies the fridge is (or I would have shut off the water to the entire house, because at that point we didn’t know what made the water come out). The rest of the evening was cleanup of the water in the kitchen and basement. Not a ton, but enough to make a mess. Bleh.
There was no water pooled under the fridge or behind it so there wasn’t a leak in the fridge or the supply lines. Water from upstairs found its way to the wall behind the fridge and went down to the basement through the wall, not a leak in a pipe or anything. It appears the problem is specifically with the icemaker, perhaps with the water line connection to the icemaker unit, not sure. Bf seems to want to fix it himself…I dunno, he’s very handy and mechanically minded, but I just wonder if we should just have a service tech fix it. There’s a lot of info out on the internet and you tube for repairs, etc. so maybe it’s worth a try. In the meantime, I dug out a couple ice cube trays, rinsed them off and filled them up.
In the kitchen we used our hoover Floormate to suck up the water, and in the basement we used our shop vac. I was rinsing off the shop vac’s squeegee attachment after I was done in the basement and somehow broke the squeegee insert such that the nubbies (crappy plastic parts, of course) that hold in the rubber strip broke off. Grrr. Now I have to order a new part. I don’t want to be without that attachment the next time we need it.
I don’t know what the heck kind of bad voodoo was going on at our house this past weekend, but I sure hope we don’t have a repeat anytime soon.
--
On a more positive note, I received my state tax refund. We ordered our water bottles, as well as some new taco holders – our old ones are too narrow for some of the bigger taco shells. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009JYMAV0/...I1XNDTIQQ0O3VR
That’s about it for me. Back to work, I have a bunch of long docs to read through for a project.
Laura & Susie ~ Yeah it sucked that we couldnt go to the spring dance but Mom bought us dinner since we couldnt go to the dance so that was nice of her.
I'm checking in late this afternoon, Its just now 1 p.m. I havent walked yet today but I will. I had an appt. this morning and then I came back home and took a nap from 10:15 to noon cause I was really tired this morning but I'm not sure why I was so tired but now I'm fine. I cant wait until Friday cause I'm in need of food, I'm not going without but I'm really low right now. Anyway I hope everyone is having a great Monday.
Morning all.
Day 2 of the last 8. Yesterday most people managed to ignore me as has been happening for a while now, a few said they were sorry to hear I was going and my so called manager just doesn't believe I am here. She doesn't speak, doesn't 'suggest' I might do some work and if anything comes up she doesn't know about then she asks J who is about 20 years my junior in SAP knowledge. So since I don't know anything, that is about what I am doing. Anything other than what I should be doing and can see lacking. I spend much time outside this little office and try to help others where I can. Bah humbug. There is a recruiter chasing me about another Melbourne role which is only for a month. I have said to put my name forward but that I will only work for 4 days a week and I wanted lots of money. They seem to agree with all that at this stage. However it will probably mean that I will have to go down on a Sunday night and catch the last plane out on Thursday since it is not close to the airport like this one is. Still I get ahead of myself here.
Happy - must have been your lucky day for getting out of things and finding things. That's got to be one of the benefits of living in a small place.
Annie - sounds like Easter is going to be fun in your place! Will C have to stand up to eat? or will he lie back and let you feed him?
Laura - the appliance ghost hits your house. It happens. Hope you get everything dried out and operational soon. I went and bought a Bosch vacuum on Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes soon as I get it out of the box. Cheaper than the last machine I had and has a 6 year warranty. Let's just see how it goes.
Ceejay - Mower service - how nice. Except if he comes at 7.00am Sunday morning. How is your uncle holding up.
Terra - must have missed the news about the dance. I see you have been really going on the weight loss. Last time I looked it was (I think) 282. Well done.
Okay, better go prep for this session today. It's called a 'Live practice session'. Unfortunately in their wisdom, the project has seen fit to take the system away and replace it with something that has no data in it. So todays live practice will be done with simulations. How exciting. Unfortunately there were no simulations available for the financial sector which I got landed with simply because no one knew anything about it and my manager 'thought' it was out of scope (finance is never out of scope). I found an old version of the system that I had access to, persuaded the powers that be that I should be put back in 'validity' date and I will be doing my demo and they will be doing their practice in a 'partially live' system. It's not up to date but it will do.
Still I should stop rambling and just get on with it. Have a safe day.
Have we lost Danielle????
