amy i put on weight my first hardcore week at the gym and my trainer did have logical reasons for it all and so next week you will kill the scales!
and also annoyingly enough next week you wont care what the scales say - i am here still over 100kg but not caring! i am feeling fitter and healthier everyday and i know that in time the fat will move around and then off my body

i have one hour til i have to go and get jemima so i best not be sitting in front of the computer and try and do something "productive" OR i could go and crack open the first episode of "little house on the prairie" that i have started to buy!!!

i had a fabulous day .. went for a wlak this morning after playgroup with Leah to the shops and back to the school .. that took an hour.. ..

after school i took the dog for a walk.. 5 kms.. up and down hills.. along the bike track and back through the neighbourhood.. ( all hills) then tonight i went and did my body jam clas... at it was fantastic...

I tell you what its a damn small world we live in i saw a girl from school there i havent seen in like 12 years... turns out she goes to the class as a regular and only lives a few streets from me.. way cool.. it was great catching up... she and i have completly different lives mind you.. shes just bought her first place with her new bloke.. ( 1 year relationship in love!! ) works .. and thin... then theres me..

still with the same guy i was with in school 15 years later and married fat 2 kids and not working .... lmao . on house number 2 and vaguely remembering.. what a kid free relationship is like... lol

but im happy shes happy and we both working out.. so .. i hope she is there next week . was great fun indeed. !

too cool who you run into sometimes! where did you go to school??

i am a little bit down but still a lot excited, i am so sick of ringing the banks and getting told we can borrow LESS and LESS each time, really mucks with your mind when you are trying to find somewhere to move to.....
so the banks changed it again and it is now about 60-70k less than it was a couple of weeks ago which changes heaps
today we were meant to look at 5 properties but after my phonecalls there is only one in our price range but i found a couple of others and hopefully we can see them too
its exciting because we are looking at rural properties, doing the 'tree change' thing - big lifestyle change, more room for the dogs and the chooks
its almost now that money is an issue is going to come down to landspace vs condition of house but benji and i were never afraid of hard work, the house we are in now was "partially renovated" which means they had started each room and gotten bored so we are ready to do it again, and may even go for landsize and extend a little country shack or something

anyway it is exciting and i've even lately been thinking if we do put a contract on a place it will probably be 3 months til we actually move which will be a great incentive and motivator for me to lose weight
at the moment i have no real deadline which means i am just "plodding" away and my goals involve "eating less than last week" i am slowly changing my portion sizes and it is working i think....

anyway have to go and kick my hubby and daughters butt so they get out of the house to gymnastics, saturday morning gymnastics a super stupid idea! but better than me having to take her thursday morning when i think my sister in law goes as well (very competitive) and it is nice for jemima to do something with her daddy

have a great weekend everyone, i am going to NOT have any milo all weekend (because i had some last night)

oh, and i went to dr for blood results. Iron levels are very low and apparently have been since 2001 when they were extremely low. Also my vitamin D levels are low. so 3 mths of iron and D tablets then a 2 week break before more bloods to see if iron has built up. if not then more tests to find why.

Iron tablets MAKE me go to the loo more often which is opposite to usual people (guess i am unique) so Dr wonders if for some reason my body doesnt WANT iron so gets rid of it like that when on tablets. go figure.

Back from my work trip to Nashville.

Not liking the new roommate. The day after moving in, she told me she bought cleaning supplies so she could clean the bathroom (I JUST cleaned it the day before and I am anal-retentive cleaner!!!). Cheeky upstart. Plus her room already smells weird, she has all these rugs that smell musty. Ugh. And I got home from my trip to find flies all over the kitchen and a stinky rubbish bag. She said she was waiting to ask me how to handle it. I said "What? How to change a trash bag?" Idiot. Anyhow. I think I'll keep doing my thing and let her hang out in her room (hopefully). This is month to month so we shall see. Major dork. At least school starts next week, so hopefully she'll be studying a lot.

Hi everyone,
Amy I wish I was as motivated as you about exercise. I was pretty good food wise last week, but I had waaaayyyy too much red wine last night. I woke up with a medium hangover (not the "Oh my God I will never drink again" hangover, but it wasn't pretty). But I hopped on the scales & I've lost 1.5 kilos since last week! I bet it was because I was dehydrated lol.

Harvey Norman had a promo with 4 years interest free during the weekend and now I have a new toy. Bought a lovely new laptop yesterday and last night I played a game until my eyes went funny! Still haven't managed to get it connected to the wireless internet connection but clever flatmate has offered to figure it out for me on Wednesday. It's amazing what you can buy when you're broke!

Diet wasn't very good over the weekend so need to knuckle down and get back on track today. Will also go to the gym tonight and do weights and pump.

lila -

me - ok coz i cant trust my adding up hehehe last week i was 104.1 today 103.6 by my calculations that is 500grams GONE GONE GONE

gen - your flatmate sounds annoying, i guess you just figure it could be worse she could be bringing home lots of extra dorks?

julia - i am thinking about getting a netbook - i really dont need one but it would be cheaper than me doing internet stuff on my mobile when i am feeling lazy, i was also thinking of bringing it to Jemima's swimming lessons and next year dancing so i didnt have to talk to the other mums, seriously in most cases all you have in common is a child that is having swimming lessons
we didnt end up getting our pearl jam tickets what was left when they went on general sale was crap (and not cheaper) so we will go another year, but we got our wiggles tickets!! wooo

vonni - we are wanting land so bad but the banks are making it hard for us, we looked in Laidley on the weekend and now looking and thinking other suburbs, i just wish benji didnt work in fortitude valley it is SO far from all the cheap land and then when you find the land it usually has a mega crappy house on it sigh sigh sigh
so are you going to take the iron tablets?

ani - how is your book going? can you tell us what it is about???

my little girl has just found a little thing that you wind up and it makes noise (like the inside of a music box) and it looks in her mind like a tattoo gun so she is giving me a tattoo on my arm.... too cute but a little scary that that is where her mind goes first... my little tough chick.... (but she wont wear anything she cant rina rina in - ballarina skirts ONLY)

today is going to be a good week! my study is almost tidy AGAIN and same with all the other rooms.... the chooks are walking around the backyard i am just praying they dont jump the fence (we have to clip their wings yet) but i didnt want to keep then just in chicken world (their pen) coz it doesnt have any rain proof i just realised and it has been raining since 10pm lastnight here

ok - half a kilo this week i'm on my way down to under 100!!!!!!!

renny sue - tell us more about jenny craig? how does it work?

alan - hi

amy - your girl looks SO adorable in the school trip photos... what ARE yougoing to do with yourself when she goes to school full time?? how scary

danni - how are you going???

if i have forgotten anyone please slap me!

ok i can add up but i have a memory of a shiv! i think my problem and 200gram discrepency last week was becuase i couldnt remember when i got to my whiteboard in the kitchen how much i weighed so must have guessed?

so get this according to my whiteboard i weighed 104.3kg last week and 103.6 this week which is so so so cool that i have lost 700grams this week but i am going to stick with 500grams as the computer is closer to the scales so i would have probably updated computer first who knows - from now on i write it down - i am glad i just weigh in once a week
