Default Bopeep

Its the Almanac, Its for both All of Canada and the US. I am sure someone, somewhere needs to mow their lawns, dig holes, harvest, pick apples and pears, prune trees, or Kill Wild Onions and Weeds.

But right now in Canada just about everywhere in Canada NONE of the above is happening. But I sure would love to mow the lawn just for a little while.

Today the temps were -49 with the windchill. I darn near froze to death shoveling! I don't care what my next vehicle is, but I do want it to come with a plow on the front!

Another nasty cold, cold, cold (but sunny) day in Nova Scotia. I hear that the Western provinces are enjoying a mild spell. Glad somebody's got a little warth.

Thumbs up

Weather report from the West Coast. We had sunny days forecast for this week, but noooo! We are engulfed in fog below the mountains. GRR! I think I will go to SFU today to visit the sun or go to the mountains.

I banged my knee so I am rehabbing it for a few days.

Take care.

Default It's snowing and blowing again

We from Ontario are beginning to sound like stuck records. Here in Wardsville its snowing and blowing again. Up to 15 cm expected. Dh went to his brother this morning so I hope he doesn't try to drive home in this. I just took DS to a friends house in the next town over. Drove real careful. So right now its just me and the dogs and if I am very lucky it will be like that until morning.

I love winter and snow, but this bitter cold takes it out of me, but its getting up to a balmy -9 tonight, so there is improvement coming. Its been too cold for the dog to sleep in the garage, even tho the woodstoves chimney heats it a bit, but the veggies, sodas and beers were freezing, so dog in the house. She doesn't like it so warm, but better than too cold for her.
Hope the snow doesn't get bad, I want to go to a sing around in Heidleberg tonight. And need to drive to Welland to check on the elder parents tomorrow.
have a nice weekend friends, stay warm. Cie, hope you see the sun!

We were only -22 at daybreak this morning and it's definitely on the rise with a -6 predicted for us overnight -- with lots of snow, of course. The bad part is that the sunshine is fading fast. Hard to bewlieve, but they are sayining +4 and rain for Monday.

Its warmer here. Its all the way up to -6 with a wind chill of -11. That is so much warmer that I could turn the Thermostat down a few degrees.

Its still snowing lightly though here.

Yesterday my DH went to his brothers near the lake about 30 KM from home it took him more than an hour to drive home last night b/c the county he was in had not plowed their roads. He was home an hour when the snow removal guy called and asked him to come into work. He had now sleep. He was home by 6 30 and will more than likely go in tonight too.

Yay! The sun is out today. I guess it is supposed to stay shining for a few days.

I used to live in BC north so used to love the cold too. Now I'm glad to be here.

Hope you had a great weekend.
