Ok, very quickly because I gotta walk to work this morning...

Despite a very naughty weekend foodwise (but none of 'that' stuff ), I somehow managed to drop 1.3kg this week to 87.9kg.

I just wanted to report in, I'll post more after work this afternoon.

Well done Julia and good luck everyone else

Wooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo Julia!!!!
Here Is A WELL DESERVED
DANCING CARROT PARTY!!!!

You lost an awesome amount and you were crook, that is so good, I am so excited for you getting to 10kg lost..... so so close....... to be honest that is when I always slack off when I am so so close, it is like I get cocky and think i'm an expert.... so keep going, and start looking at your next goal......
(i in my life have lost 9.5kg and 14.5kg so when I lose 10kg this time there are going to be carrots everywhere)

BUT for your reward..... how about shouting yourself a trip to the movies, goldclass? or a differenrt hairdo? or a pedicure? or a goodbook or something?

Lindor - I am always gobsmacked when I hear about people losing more than 1kg without 'cheating' OMG here is a for you, holy dooly of course seeing you are now 100grams under me..... that means I have to try and beat you to 80 as well...... i think i work well when i am using my competitive streak....

Cheat? Me?

Standing in the shower just now, all chuffed with my efforts, I realised the following...

It is Monday morning,

It is early,

And 88.2kg to 87.9kg is only a 300g drop!!! I am soooo dumb!!

Thanx for the party...but they will have to go home and come back in a few weeks!

Gawd...I hope today improves

Hi girls! 94.4kg for me this week! Down 1kg on the dot!

Well done everyone! You guys are doing great!

Kylie

I just realised that I'm back to where I started when I first found you lovely ladies. I managed to get down to 84kg, thanks to some shakes, then dumped it all on again and then some. I don't know why I thought that I would be different from everyone else, and keep it off!

Let's keep going, we can only go up from here! (maybe down?)

Speaking of going up Kylie - that would be me! I gained 0.4kg this week, and I don't really know why. I was 85.5kg today.

I know I'm feeling very stressed about the housemate saga (I still haven't seen him since he went out to dinner on Friday night). Because I paid all the rent last week, including his share, I don't have any money left for food - so I scrounged what was here on the weekend, rather than being able to plan.

I want this to be over!

Congratulations to everyone who lost weight this week - I'll be back joining you next Monday… I hope.

Congrats Lindor, Julia and Kylie! That's awesome! Ani, 400g is nothing, I can't believe with the stressful time you've had that you didn't have a kamikaze blowout - well done on that!

I was happy this morning (although not as happy as when I cheated yesterday morning and looked at the scales - ate some snakes last night!) at weighin:

I lost 1.7kg this week!

I can only think that my great losses the past few weeks must be due to my weight training....? That's the only thing I've done differently. Although I'll soon be back to where I was before losing the plot, so we'll see what happens when I get there!

A carrot party? Looks more like a magic mushroom party to me Kel

Now don't you worry, if the housemate is still missing by tomorrow afternoon I am going to enlist a few able-bodied souls and put his stuff outside … and get the locks changed.

Gen somehow your comments gave me perspective, and I feel a bit better about gaining that weight. It will come off again - I mean it!

CONGRATS to all

Kel arrowroot biscuits are pretty good. They get soggy and when a bit breaks off it melts. Thats a snacky thing.

My Ebony was a funny baby to feed. She ONLY like things if it was pureed until she was one except for the bikky thing. Bananas are good too, just as long as they're ripe enough. Jemima is still pretty young, so I wouldnt be giving her too much yet. Let her be your guide. Maybe some custard with stewed fruit. thats nice and soft yet still has 'bite'.

No loss for me AGAIN this week. grrrr getting bloody ridiculous.

Oh good Ani, you're always the soul of sensibility, so I'm glad it helped. And even better, it's true too! Hah. You have to the most unlucky or untalented housemate hunter I know though! Have you tried flatmate finders.com.au? I know several people who had great success on there. At least they must be somewhat savvy if they can get online and organise themselves, is my rationale... heh.

Not to worry Vonni, as long as they aren't moving UP, everything is okay! I didn't get to the gym today, did walk the dogs briskly and cleaned house for an old lady for 4 hours, will get to the weights tomorrow.

Can't wait for tonight and the coming weeks - my sister gets here from Brisbane tonight with my nephew, then her hubby and my other nephew arrive on the weekend - woohoo!!

Oh Vonni, I really feel for you not having lost again - it kills the motivation that's for sure. However, as Gen said, at least the scales aren't moving up. Keep on keeping on and you'll get there.

Last night I went to a work function and I guzzled down 3 glasses of wine and had lots of their nibbles. Luckily what I ate most of was pieces of calamari so it didn't blow my points for the day by too much.

Couldn't bring myself to get out of bed early this morning (perhaps the 3 glasses of wine had something to do with that?) so will be hitting the gym after work today.

Someone's brought in a box of chocolates and they're sitting in the staffroom looking at me. I had one at morning tea so my challenge for the afternoon is to not have another one!

The hideous housemate popped in last night - brought a mate with him because he doesn't have the fortitude to face me. He tried to tell me I hurt him by asking him to move out… until he realised that I'm not the kind of woman who is sucked in by manipulation and guilt-tripping.

So he is supposed to be moving out in the next few days. I really don't expect him to pay his rent, but I'm willing to write that off just to get my home back!

Gen thanks for the website - I had a quick look, and will have a closer look at it this morning.

OK - yesterday I ate 1370 calories, walked for an hour and drank 2.7L of water. I actually need to eat a little more than that, but food supplies are limited, and I didn't want to go over my calorie allowance.

I'm determined to have a loss this week. Just because my housemate is a complete failure, doesn't make it an infectious disease!

Ok...so this is random but I LOVE THIS recipe so much you all have to try it!

1 bag mixed lettuce (from woolies or wherever)
1 400g tin chickpeas
1 punnet cherry/grape tomatoes
1 medium tin chilli tuna
spray oil
pepper

Mix tuna and lettuce in a bowl.
Cut tomatoes in half, place on tray with chickpeas. Spray with oil and season with pepper. Roast for 15 minutes in the oven.
When they're done, mix tomatoes, chickpeas with lettuce and tuna.

Wa-la! Fancy looking, very tasty, uber-healthy yummy salad! This is meant for two people, but I eat it all coz bf doesn't like chickpeas or tomatoes! I'll have to find the calorie info, but I'm sure its low as.

have a great day
