Fantastic work Gen!!!

And you too Kylie!

I agree, it is very inspiring to see us all getting back on top!

And so far today I have not even considered something yummy as a reward for my efforts! I just want to keep it as it is and lose more this week!!

Wow, well done everyone, we kick arse! I think we each deserve a carrot:

Ani
Lindor
Vonni
Kylie
Julia
Me
Kel

Hope I didn't forget anyone! Now if only we could bottle this feeling and pop it in the freezer for the weeks we can't find it!

OK, I think those scales may need new batteries, because I was just trying to weigh something to post and they were wrong, so I got out my scales from Sydney and I'm 95.2 on those, so that would be 1.8kg loss from last week, although on different scales. I think I'll make it that, as I don't want to under-weigh!!

Gen 1.8kg is still pretty awesome - I'd take it!

Kylie - woo hoo!

How cool is it that we have all had great results this week. I'm really proud of us.

I just changed my goal weight from 70kg to 67kg. Might not seem like much to some people, but to me it's important. I worked out that when I reach 70kg I will still be 'overweight' - and I don't want to invest all this energy, and change my life - and end up overweight at the end of it.

It has been in the back of my mind for ages, but I felt too overwhelmed by the numbers. The thought of trying to lose almost 40kg really did my head in.

But I don't have to lose 40kg to get in the healthy range now. I don't even have to lose 20!

I was *just* thinking about my goal weight when I updated my ticker, Ani. I know I put 70 because 65 seemed too hard (also 40kg for me!), but I was thinking I really do want to be 65, as it's smack bang in the middle of my "healthy" range.

Hmmm… here I was staring at those broccoli and trying to imagine a banana . Vonni sometimes it takes a while for weight to come off, even when you're being good. Are you drinking water? I know you had 500mL the other day, and I was scared you'd drown . Seriously, it'll make a big difference if you up it a little bit.

Gen I would love to get down to 65kg too, but the thought still scares me. I can cope with 67 as a goal, and might amend it after I lose some more weight.

Let's stay brave and focussed because we rock!

Lindor, is your profile or your ticker correct? 86.1 or 88.2kg to work out the caloric intake?

If 88.2: Daily calorie requirements: 2281

To lose:
1lb/week: 1781
2lb/wk: 1281

If 86.1kg then: Daily calorie requirements: 2251

To lose:

1lb/wk: 1751
2lb/wk: 1251

Yuck - I amended my ticker today too. I didn't want to, but I'm sure not 88kg anymore. So honesty rocks!

Kylie

PS Vonni - maybe that's why you didn't lose this week - can't tell the difference between fruit/veg? :P

Welcome back Karen ... it sounds pretty good to me that your ticker is still correct because that means that you haven't gained and that's something to be proud of.

Well I'm feeling sick again today and have finally made a doctors appointment for this afternoon. I expect to be feeling better once I get some drugs into me! Last night I kept waking up because my mouth was so incredibly dry and if I keep going through tissues at this rate, there'll be no forests left.

No gym for me today but I'm on track with my eating and will be back to the gym tomorrow.

Keep up the good work everyone

Welcome back Karen. I remember reading your posts when I was first lurking and thinking about joining in. That old Aussie Chicks thread got 'deleted' after we hit 100 pages!

What kind of plan have you got in mind for losing weight? We're doing a Spring Challenge - and you're more than welcome to join us with that .

Julia I'm glad you're finally going to the doctor - this has been hanging on for too long now.

I had a pretty good day again yesterday. I walked for 90 minutes, ate 1650 calories and drank 2.5L of water. It was 27ºC here - a stunning day!

My weight loss goals are pretty much the same today.
