Uh oh Kel! Hehe.

I had PT yesterday and she upped all my weights, so I am *SORE* today! Managed to get to the gym this morning before work, and was great with my food today, luckily.

I think I'll gain this week though - was hungry early in the week and ate far too much.. plus it's Grand Final weekend, and there's a Victorian team in there for once, so I expect I'll be getting extraordinarily drunk. Although I am going out (I think) with my errr.. "friend" from the other weekend, so might *accidentally* work off some of those alcohol calories.

Ani, did one of your cats walk across the keyboard while you weren't watching and send that last post of yours?

Vonni, I have had that e-mailed to me before, but I think I laughed just as much reading it just now as I did the first time I read it!

Ok, I'm going for another positive post...

On top of the 600mls of water yesterday - add another 1.2L!

Also, I only consumed around 1400cals!

And I did my step-ups!!

And I woke up feeling good this morning!!

I give it to you all now, that if I start getting negative again, remind me of this post!

Today I managed around 1300cals, just 1L of water, and some step-ups too!

Kel, I had a fresh salad with tuna tonight! And yes that involved shopping and I was very good with what I walked out of that shop with!!

Sounds like some of us have a fun weekend ahead! I'll be watching for a 1kg loss again on Monday Gen?

As for everyone else, have a good one

Sigh. Decided to go back to WW as that's where I lost most of my weight earlier this year. The calorie counting is doing it for educating me about what to eat, and how long to burn foods off, but I regularly go over and it's too easy to cheat and then make it up with exercise. So I know WW works. Went to a meeting this morning, and weight was 94.8kg!!! That's fully dressed after breakfast, but still, 3.3 more than last Monday! Ah well, gotta start (again) somewhere. Also met a nice chick who was also signing up, and she goes to my gym, so that'll be good! Bought a new WW cookbook called "Meals in Minutes" which has some yummo meals that cook in 10 mins or less - just my type! Am going to go back to planning evening meals a week (at least) ahead and shopping from a list.

This is what it's all about. Daylight savings starts tonight so I feel like summer really is on the way. It must be around 17 degrees outside at the moment and it's really gorgeous! I've just been for a 1 hour 15 minute walk and am feeling really good

Have a great weekend everyone!

HAHA Ani! Speaking double dutch is good.
I've drank a litre of water today.
Yesterday I managed to go shopping with NO KIDS. I was so excited. 1 was at grandmas, one at daycare, one at a mates ..... etc...etc...
I got my groceries done in half the time with LESS CRAP in the trolley. I did by some ricey vege chippy things though from the snack biscuit aisle. Just to see what they are like as apposed to shapes (which I don't eat anyway). I did NO HOUSEWORK when I got home but enjoyed my time sitting on my behind doing diddly squat.
Just thought I'd share my elation with you all.

Oh, and it's my birthday in 3 weeks. I have asked my other half to choose from a list of wants, and one of them is a professional massage. I hope he picks that one. I've never had one and I want to be spoilt a few days before my residential starts. Going to try detoxing a little before hand by drinking plenty of water and starting up my walks again.

I'm baaaaack!

Well you girls are going to fall off your seats! Usually at the conferences I go to, there is unlimited food and beer, and of course, I made full use of both!

HOWEVER - this time around, I made a promise that I wouldn't go back for seconds, and I only ended up having 2 beers/night!

I am amazed! But I am also feeling pretty good, considering all the brain stretching, and walking for miles across uncountable train and bus stations, not to mention the airports! (what do you mean my flight leaves from the -other- terminal?!?!)

bf wants to go back home to the country tonight (blerk, I would rather go to bed), and we will stay there until Monday. Bad news is I have about 10 million essays due this week, but whatever, hey :P

It is so great to see you again, Barb! I missed you! I did the whole "oh god I ve put so much weight back on I cant possibly talk to the girls about this oh my god aaaargh" thing, but I'm so glad I came back!

I'll do proper replies later, but I am glad to see that Ani and Lindor had a good time in Perth together, Vonni take care, keep enjoying the salads and I reckon a muesli bar is probably just as quick as a choc bar, Kel, hello, glad to hear everyone is feeling better at your house, julia OMG Rage is coming!?!!? Maybe we should go to Auckland together!! Gen, hope WW is what you need.

Take Care

Kylie

PS Hi to our newcomer! (I'm 19 too, are you at uni?)

Well, there was drinking and there was pashing, but I tore myself away and got on a train home at the end of the night haha.. I'm so good!! However that means that I didn't burn off that kilo... LOL. It's very odd though, all his friends act like we're a couple, and as the night wears on, we act like it too. Who knows what the **** is happening... I think we're just killing time and having fun since we're both single.

Drank 4 Smirnoff black, and about 5 vodka lime and sodas. Oops.

However I did go to the gym yesterday, then walk home from the train station, then go walking this morning.

Also chucked half the toasted sandwich I had at the pub up, so I don't think those calories count.... ? Heh.

Evening all!

Kylie welcome home! And well done on your self control! Isn't it weird how we can be so proud of ourselves when we can be so good, yet we can so easily forget how good it feels? Or is that just me?

And I reckon airports are the best place for a good brisk walk with a session of weights thrown into it - not to mention a lesson or two in anger management!! I had issues at the airport in Perth - over an hour in a slow moving line waiting for a taxi lugging a 30kg case, one heavy bag off one shoulder and a small bag and jacket off the other!!

Gen, I am trying to work out if you had a good time last night or not?

Good luck with WW, maybe it is the variety you need as well that might get you going again?

Julia, hope summer brings good things for you...although at 17C I wouldn't be doing much more than maybe sticking my head out from under the doona for a few seconds!!

I've been really good these past few days - food, water and exercise - and I kinda feel like I did when I started this battle over 18 months ago! It's like something has clicked and all of a sudden I am ticking again! I really hope I can stick with it to the end this time!

Weigh-in tomorrow, and this week it's not 'do I have to' it's 'ok, lets do it!'

I did have a good time! The older I get, I just have a certain point, beyond which I chuck after drinking. It was all quite civilised, just woke up and thought "Hm.. I could spew..." so I did. LOL. I got up early as I had that feeling-dodgy-can't sleep very well thing going on, but had a nanna nap.

Walked for 90 mins, drank a couple of litres, ate within my points allowance - yay!

Yes, Kylie Rage certainly are coming and I'm so excited! I'll be going to the BDO in Auckland so if you are keen to join me that would be awesome!

Gen it sounds like you had a good weekend you now have the honor of keeping us all amused with stories of your mischief

I had a great weekend. Went out to the pub on Saturday night but didn't overindulge. Sunday I had a nice long sleep in and then walked to my parents house which took about 55 minutes.

Weighed in this morning and have gained 600g but I'm not worried about it. I didn't exercise as much as I should have and I certainly wasn't as focused with my eating.

Goal for this week is to stop snacking so much in the evenings as that's where I tend to fall down.

Here's to a good week ladies

Just checking in...

...at 89.0kg.

That's a 0.9kg loss. I'm happy with that
