Yep, they all are great entertainment too. One of mine needs some exercise too cause he's getting HUGE, guess I feed him too much food, lol

That can be a problem. I can't believe how expensive food is - and we just have one cat!

Jelly, 30 cats is way to much, And I'm willing to bet not many, if any, of them are spayed/neutered and properly vetted! If your folks and you can't afford "healthy" people food, then surely they can't afford to vet 30 cats!!!!!!!

Loving cats is one thing, but not being able to care for them is another, and in order to properly love them you need to be able to afford them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of activity today!!
I took the kids to get their hair cut this morning. I also got my cut and my highlights touched up. Went a little darker on the highlights with it being fall and all.
Then I went to my brother's house with Dh and the kids to watch the Chicago Bears lose in overtime.
I cheated a little. The first time really since starting SB on 9/1. I had a few forkfuls of dessert tonight. Wasn't that great! :-)

Finishing up homework with DS, then a walk, showers, and bedtime. Can't wait to watch Entourage tonight. That show is so funny!!

Made the bean brownies last night. They are horrible!! I felt like I wanted something "brownie-cake" like, no way. Took away the craving anyway!

If we had known what we know now with vet bills we would've never had that many cats.. but we are stuck with them so.. and my mom feeds raccoons too.

Most of our cats are old, we had them since I was like 10, and it was cheaper to have animals back then.

how about giving them up for adoption? There are a lot of no kill animal shelters available just for this kind of thing...or listing them on craigslist?

You're never stuck with an animal.

Nobody will take animals that are grown around here. My town people already have alot of cats which is why the stores are always out of cat supplies.

Jelly, that doesn't make sense! List some of them on craigslist! Cats go like crazy on there!

And a store constantly out of food?

Ya a store always out of cat food. It's rediculous.. sometimes we have to go a half hour out of our way just to get crystal cat litter, cause they are always out of that, and one store is always out of the 24 cans of 9 lives.. and 24 cans of 9 lives cost $7.99 here which is cheaper than having to buy them seperate.

BTW, crystal cat litter lasts a couple weeks with multiple cats which is much cheaper than buying them fresh step clay litter..

We used to use crystal cat litter before we switched to the pine stuff. The crystal lasted our one cat household a month....I guess if it lasts your thirty cat household a few weeks...we were definitely throwing it out too soon.

Ugh. I hate cleaning the cat box.

LOL, I hate cleaning the cat box too. Used to get the pine stuff but my cats made too much of a mess with it. It was good mulch for outside though so it never went to waste

Default So.....

I just got back from my nephews 5th b-day party.... I must say I am proud of myself. My mom didn't really know about my new plan and I didnt get a chance to tell her what I could so there was nothing for me... They had pizza and huge cupcakes loaded with frosting which I happen to love..... I didn't have any.... The only thing I could find to eat was some sliced turkey from the deli in my mom's fridge.... She didn't even have any veggies.... So the turkey was tasty.... I went to the local farmers market on my way home to grab some veggies and an enjoy some P1 fare as I type. Tomorrow it is on to P2. Good Night ladies!
