Well, not exactly 12.

After 1 skinny cow (2), 3 oz of chicken breast (3) and some leftover oatmeal (3) -- I made it to 20 points.

Still - a 100% improvement from where I was last week.

My daughter is 6 and finished with kindergarten today. I also have a son who is 4. He will be in his last year of preschool next year. My daughter cracked me up last night. Ever since she was born, I have told her she is my best girl. Last night, she finally caught on and said, "MOM!! I am your only girl!" I had to smile and told her it only took her six years to figure that out. I am going to keep saying it anyway. Before our son was born, my husband used to tell me mot to say it in case we had another girl. I guess I lucked out. I tell my son he is my best boy. Even though I have two best boys (son and husband).

I am off to eat my 3pt oatmeal. Get this, the scale shows a 1 Pound gain this morning. Darn Mexican food last night!!!

Breakfast: oatbran cereal with berries (3), latte (3)
Shouldn't have munched on: trisquits (1)

Today may be tough, I am having a pool party with kids this afternoon and then we are going to dinner at a new friend's house (serving beef Tanjin - they moved here from Morrocco) -- should be good at least. We are looking forward to a no kids dinner tonight

Chicken (6), crackers (1) , Cheese (2)

Had a pretty good day and then it all went downhill at grandmas house. She isn't home and I raided the cookie jar(8) and trimmed up the rhubarb pie (6), and had some almonds (2)

that puts me at 32 points

With dinner at my friends it may turn into a 50+ point day

Well I bit the bullet and weighed in.....well, not by choice...I left my no-weigh in pass at home, but I'm glad I did....I thought I was up 2lbs, I was only up .25lbs...so that was awesome!!!! I'm very pleased w/that considering my food choices this past Sunday...you DON'T even wanna know what I consumed! Darn Holidays!!
Today a friend and I went to lunch, had Applebee's...
7pt Chicken Tango Sandwich
5pt Lemon Cheesecake dessert...Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Dinner will be mexican, we always do pizza or mexican on Wed. I'm sure I'll be ok w/pts. though.

I hear ya when it comes to kids growing up, I cannot believe mine will be 9 in a few weeks...We've been trying for #2 since he turned 1, so 8 yrs of wanting another, with no luck...now our son is old enough to understand he too, wants a sibling, and he prays nightly that he'll get one...If only it were that easy. He's my pride and joy, so smart/sweet and oohhhh so complimentive!! I wore shorts for the first time on Sunday, w/a tank top and he walks up to me...Ooohhh mom, you lost weight!!! He's patting my front to back saying how thin I am...His new favorite saying is, and he said he made this up "Mom, if it was as hot out outside, as you are...i'd stay in all the time!" He melts me!

Had my weigh-in this morning and I'm down 3.2!!! I can't believe it. I definitely wasn't expecting to see such a loss so I am just thrilled! I didn't stay for the meeting, but I'm hoping to be able to next week.

I was so happy with my weigh-in that I picked up my husband for lunch and we had salmon tacos - 13pts. Oh well! That's all I've had today so I'm not going to worry!!

Pmoswife ~ I TOTALLY hear ya about doing good until you get home at night. Me too!! Arrrghhh!

Liz ~ I've been CRAVING salmon ~ I'll make some in a few days. Won't be tacos though, yuk. LOL

Today was fairly decent. I am supposed to eat 26-31 points, but have been eating at the top of that range ~ I need to cut that out.

B: lean pocket, starbucks latte = 7
L: Smart Ones frozen meal, diet pepsi, strawberries = 5
S: peach, 14 mini caramel rice cakes = 3
D: Healthy Choice sausage, salad with oil/vinegar, grapes = 9
S: frozen peaches with cool whip = 7

Total = 31

As much as I hated to, I also went to the gym tonight... walked 30 mins on treadmill, but was only 225 cals ~ better than nothing, I suppose!

Liz, Great Job! You have been working so hard.

Me, however, a different story. I must say up front that I had one of the best dinners of my entire life last night and I am really glad that I neither counted points nor worried about seconds. It was amazing food.

so after the 32 points I had tallied up before dinner

I had
bread (1)
Wine (2), (2), (2), (2)
Beef tanjeen with almonds and prunes (10-12)
Sweet potatoes salad (3)
Eggplant something (2)
lentils salad(3)
Orange slices with orange oil, cinammon, and almond cookies (4)

putting me in the range of about 65 points for the day -- and worth every bite.

Morrigan - your dinner sounds heavenly! Every once in a while we NEED to treat ourselves like that! Good for you!

This morning I went to get my blood test done at the doctor's office. I've been dreading it for a while and put it off for as long as I could. I'm hoping that these last two months on WW, along with the weight I have lost, will have made a difference in my cholesterol levels, and the other readings. They took my blood pressure and that was normal for the first time in a long time, so I'm happy for that!

Anyway, I had to fast before that so all I've had today so far is:

Pria 110 cal. bar - 2pts
Kashi Oatmeal - 2pts

I am having a bad day guys. Busy, unplanned.......blah blah blah........

skipped breakfast. Got up before my husband and went to the gym without any kids. I got to do this because nobody has school. I drank coffee and that was it.

Went to Costco for Mexico groceries. Ate 1/3 of a piece of pizza there. It was not too good so I did not even finish it. You know they serve two slices at a time. I threw over once slice away. However, I did polish off 1/2 of a yummy churro. They are my fav. I guess you can say I am on vacation mode already. Will check in later. --Amy

Hi everyone. I am just checking in one more time before I leave for Mexico. We leave today at 2pm. I am very busy getting packed. DD had her recital last night so yesterday was crazy with a play date even. I have not been able to pack. All I had gotten done was the grocery store. Have only had coffee today. Scale said 184 this morning. The lowest has been 185 and it went up after that before a weigh in. So, I think that I have lost 2 pounds since weigh in on Tuesday night. My nerves may help me not gain weight over vacation. I will try to journal on paper while gone, but don't expect to hear any of it. I will check back in when I am back in town. Good luck everyone. --Amy
