May I ask what salmon tablets are?

Also, would anyone know approx. how many pts would be in the ciabatta bread that Big Boy Restaurant sells, it was a turkey/lettuce/cheese ciabatta sandwich I got, hubby watned BB and I thought they had a low fat turkey pita, but they discontinued it and now offer this...Hoping I made the best choice. Here's my day:
B: 2 slices red. cal bread w/ICBINB - 2pts
yogurt -1pt
L: slim fast/banana/strawberries/oil - 7pts
S: pretzels - 2pts
D: BB Ciabatta sandwich (I'm guessing 2pts for turkey, 2for cheese, 2 for ranch and 5 for bread?) = 11pts?
Yogurt shake -3pts

26/26....and a workout at Curves

The recipe is in one of my WW cookbooks. I'll look for it tonight and post it tomorrow.

We don't have a Big Boy here, so I can't help with that. It sure sounds good, though!

Me again. I don't edit my previous posts, because I don't know if anyone will go back and read. So I just finished dinner. It is kind of dangerous because it is only 5:25 and I don't go to bed until about 10pm. So, I have 3 points left if I need them.

Dinner
coconut crusted talapia (frozen from Safeway's meat case) YUMMY!!! 5pts
I loved this because it had nutrition info on it.
3oz creamer red potatoes quartered drizzled with olive oil sprinkled with garlic powder, salt, and dill. I baked for 40 min at 400degrees. DELISH! 3pts
1/3 box green giant frozen "seasoned" baby vegetable medly. 1pt Good too.

It is so funny that when you stay right on program and plan out your meals (especially dinner) how good dinner tastes. Husband and I joke that everything is so much better to me because I am ready to chew my arm off by dinner time. Anyway, it was fantastic. Kids liked it too.

AJsMommy, I have big boy in my dining out companion, but I can't find it anywhere! If I find it I will look for your sandwich. Otherwise, try www.dwlz.com. She lists tons of food joints.

Have a good night and a great start to your days tomorrow! --Amy

Thanks buffalosister, but dwlz is where I learned that BB would have the turkey pita, haha...which they now don't serve. I had the whole meal pre-planned, even took my own salad dressing for the salad bar...the waitress probably thought I was a wack, asking all sorts of questions before deciding I just wouldn't eat, and when she came back to refill hubby's coffee she asked 'are you sure?' and thats when I settled for the other sandwich...hopefully I did ok

Thanks again!!

You are too funny. I will keep looking for my dining out companion. Hopefully we can get an answer there. Is big boy the same place that used to be called Bob's Big Boy??? We used to have those here in Az and then they all closed. I remember them from when I was a kid. I loved eating there. Anyway, have a good night.

I checked my WW Dining Out Companion and it didn't have a lot under Big Boy. Definitely didn't mention ANY sandwiches or breads.

Sorry.

Nice Morrigan. Congratulatins on the new wheels. That is always fun. Congratulations on eating well too. Wish I had your problem of not getting enough food in. I have been having a problem of another sort lately. Have not eaten yet today. I am going to do yogurt or something different this morning. I am tired of oatmeal. I am not working out today. My son's last day of preschool for the year and my last day of 1.5 hours without kids. I am going to do something other than exercise. I eat oatmeal a lot because it sits well in my stomach during my workouts. It is the only thing that does not feel like it is going to come back up. Anyway, will post when I have some tracking to share.

Not eating is usually NEVER a problem for me, but I just never slowed down yesterday. There were a few times when some clearly bad food choices were presented, but I just skipped them altogether because I was so busy.

I only don't have kids if 1) I am at work and my mom has them or 2) if my DH gives me a break in the evening, except then I use to garden or clean house. My DH is pretty good about giving me time, expecially considering he works tons of hours and then comes home to kids and an often messy house.

Breakfast: oat bran cereal with huckleberries (4), Latte (2)
Lunch: Tofu (4) with spinach (0), and and some artichoke leaves (0)

That will set me with 10 points going into the evening.

My week so far is 25, 25, 20... I am doing pretty well. My scale at home, after showing a small gain, is now back to where it was a few weeks ago, so I am hoping to actually show a loss by Monday.

Turned out a great day. The kids were in the pool with my mom after work - went swimming. Then snacks (veggies), then swimming lessons (did laps), then back to my parents for dinner. More points than I planned but really yummy and I don't feel hungry at all.

wine (2)

Avacodo (7), salad (0), shrimp salad (5), wine (3), blueberries (1)

28 point day

Hmm, not sure if Big Boy was ever called Bob's Big Boy (that's a funny name!)...I'm thinking it might be similar to a Shoney's, if you have those? I went to lunch w/my friend today, and we saw some of our other friends there, who #1. the hubby manages BB, and #2. she's a waitress...so I asked them what the deal was w/the turkey pita being gone, lol...told them the choice I made instead, and her eyes got wide..said that ciabatta bread has a gazillion calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well great!! So I guess my choice wasn't as good as I thought, I counted the sandwich for 9pts total...just will make sure I don't use any flex this week, will count them as gone just in case. Whew, it's hard to eat out sometimes!
Today w/my friend I stuck to my usual, and it was delicious! A grilled chicken salad, it has a minimal amt. of bacon on it and for dressing I always use barbeque sauce. Call me crazy, but it's awesome!! and low pts!!
In the crock pot I have a ww recipe I found, a chicken dish of sorts...I'll let ya know how it tastes and post the recipe.

Have a good one!

Wow we have some ideas being tossed around here these days -
Glad I came back - You guys pump me up to get back on track.

The BBQ sauce on the salad sounds awesome to me !!! Good Idea. I sometimes use salsa..... It doesnt sound good but it really is.

Sorta like a taco salad minus all the fattening stuff.

Well Last night I didnt end up having sloppy joes because Hubby didnt make dinner - his only night is wednesdays because we have bible study

We went to burger king - because I used my dining out companion

I had a fire grilled chicken salad (4 Pts)
2 packets of croutons (4 Points)
1 Packet of Dressing ( i usually like 2 ) 4 points
And I had 3 bites off of this Yummy desert at bible study and gave the rest to Hubby ....

So I had alot more points then I should - But ALOT less then what I have been taking in - so I am okay with it

Today

Coffee - 4 Points
Oatmeal 2 Points
Lunch is a sandwich no mayo - no cheese - 5 Points . . .

Dinner i am gonna have left over chicken .... and broccoli 8 or 9 points

Not sure how many points it is - But it is YUMMY...

skinless boneless chicken breasts weighed out to right portion sizes in ounces . . . . . cooked in 1 tbs Veg Oil .... until browned ...

Then add 1 can campbells fat free cream of mushroom & garlic soup
1 Cup Low fat Milk stir so the milk and soup blend - cover and bring to a boil - let cook about 10 - 15 mins YUMMY .

I am not sure how many

I'm having one of those "Hungry" days today. I guess I need to keep finding ways to stay busy so I don't eat. I'll be volunteering in my daughter's kindergarten class this afternoon, so that will help a bit. Have to avoid "snack time" there, though.

Today so far:

Workout at Curves! Yea me!

2 Salmon oil tablets - 2pts
small apple - 1pt
1/2 cup Light & Fit yogurt - 1pt

1/2 cup Honey Nut Cheerios (dry) - 1pt

We didn't have the Mahi Mahi for dinner last night because my husband came home late from work. I just nuked some Tilapia and had a salad, plus some hummus and crackers. We'll have the Mahi Mahi tonight. For luch I think I'll have a 4pt Lean Gourmet salisbury steak w/ potatos. I calculated the points myself just to be sure and it does work out to 4 points. Probably full of sodium! I'm having a high sodium week eating too many processed/frozen foods. I wonder if that's why I'm feeling so hungry? Do processed foods make you hungrier? Something to think about...
