Brid,
It may be the Welsh woman in me but I actually like to walk in the rain! I have good boots and waterproofs and it is very exhilarating!
Bonkers I know but when I was training for my charity trek 4 years ago I would walk mountains whatever the weather and my least favourite was when it was sunny as I get hot and sweaty( fat chick thing!!)
Hope everybody is safe from eth flooding/lightning/plagues of frogs that are going on the mo!

I somehow missed all of page 33 of posts earlier. Whoops.

It's raining in my back hall. This better not turn into floods like 2007!

Doing good so far today - a 90 calorie yoghurt and a cuppa is all I've consumed, and I've cycled 12k. My belly's making some impressive gurgly noises though, it may be time for tea soon.

Well done Jose, that's great!

Brid, hope the water's gone this morning?! Can't believe that's all you'd eaten by 6pm, blooming heck!

MW, yep, you're mad enjoying walking in the rain!

1987, sod it, you keep shopping and enjoying the new you!

Well, WI this morning and I'm bang on 12 stone, not an 11 YET, but I can't get any closer without being though so I'm pretty happy with that, and I've finally after almost 2 months been able to move down my ticker, yay!

Busy day today finishing off these last two assignments for hand in tomorrow, just a quick spinning class to break up the day. I CANNOT WAIT for tomorrow when it'll all be done (apart from my dissertation, but ssshhhhhh!!)

Got some treats planned for next week, and TOM due, so not really hoping for a big loss, but knowing I'm so close to the 11s should hopefully help me to stay focussed enough not to gain either, I hope!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good morning all! I weighed myself this morning, and it's the same as 5 or 6 days ago. I appear to have stuck, and it's immensely frustrating. I just wish I could get these exams out of the way so that I can focus on working out!

Have a nice Sunday, guys. I'm spending most of today doing Sociology revision!

morning all

stayed the same this week, kind of frustrating considering that i have mostly stuck to my calorie goal, maybe a few over or under on some days. my goal is 1600 and thats definatly not enough to maintain the weight i am, ahhh if only weight loss was linear lol. i think the problem is my recent purchase of a packet of soft (yummy) white rolls that i cant stop eating lol, i know a lot of people react badly to those kinds of refined carbs. no more rolls for me, and will see if the scale moves next week.

good luck all that are weighing today!

It's not looking like I'm going to be having a happy weigh in tomorrow - the past three days it's been down 0.2 each day, but I need another 0.4 off just to be the same as last weigh in. I was cursing and annoyed about this, but then I looked a bit further back, and realised that, while this week may be a bit stagnant, I've still shifted 5.6lbs in a fortnight.

I've had a few too many days off exercise recently, and been way too naughty with the cake. That stops now!

My minimal food intake by 6pm isn't so impressive / worrying when you bear in mind I didn't get out of bed until 3pm. One of the bonuses of not having a job.

EDIT: Wait, it was Wednesday I first weighed in! Still got three days! Excellent!

TC - love how.you're breaking up your study time with exercise and not food. Great to get those endorphins pumping lol

MM - its ok to stick for a while. I've stuck for 3 days now. Pointless worrying about it today coz its Sunday!! It's roast dinner day or as i put it, treat day lol then start afresh in the morning. Perhaps on Tuesday weigh again and if you're still stuck, look at ways to switch it up a bit.

MissSMcC - white rolls, white bread, or for me bread in general... BAD!! I haven't had any bread at all now since... Er.... Can't remember lmao!! I actually prefer rice cakes, I find them more satisfying and filling. Or try ryvita!! So many varieties, just be careful of the salt on some of the flavours. Just an idea

Well I've maintained from yesterday, but I'm ok with that, coz like I said its Sunday, its roast day and I need my roast dinner!! Lol tomorrow will be more of the usual, and I'll get some exercise done on the Wii at some point tomorrow too. Will have to take it easy tho... I've done something to my ankle... Not too sure what... Probably caused by this weight I'm carrying and my ankles can't take it but at least I'm making the effort and going for it.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday, and that the sun is trying to shine for you too.

Brid - I just read your last post, spotted the edit at the end and laughed. 3 days is loads of time to make a dent! Make sure you get plenty of water in to flush the bad cakeness out.and start putting some good stuff back in lol plenty of fruit and veg for you I think you can do it. I've got every faith in you

Mmm, roast dinner! I could really go for some of that. But the boyfriend's out this evening, so I'll be settling down to a bit of white fish and some more broccoli. My mother used to say "You'll turn into a sandwich at this rate" if I was eating too many sandwiches; I'm wondering if I should start checking for green bits sprouting out the top of my head, because I must be turning into broccoli by now!

I can't stop thinking about chocolate hobnobs. There's only 79 calories per biscuit... But what's the likelihood of me being able to stop at just one?

Pfft, I don't even temp myself with that stuff. I know I'll just get silly and eat the whole pack! Soooo not worth the risk. I know I'll have a test on the 22nd, its man things birthday and we always get cake... I'm having 1 piece, and one piece only!! Where as before...i probably could have eaten the whole thing. Not in one sitting, but still.

Lol right now hes trying to sort his fishing rod and swearing like a trooper... I can't stop sniggering lol he makes me lol so much sometimes

Uuugh, that must be such a pain MM! You have been working SOOO hard! I am sure with your determination you'll soon get over this *hugs*
All you who feel a little stuck also, I know you can get through it!

Oh wow, I can't even buy biscuits. It is just definite that I'll eat then whole packet. This is the trouble, it is not cost effective to buy individual portions but big packets of things are just hard to cope with!!

Enjoy your roast dinners, all who are having! A lucky thing for me is I have no strong feelings about roast dinners, I don't even think about it on Sundays (Oh dear, it looks like I might not be a naturalised citizen yet after all, awww!) Mind, I think traditional food from my country is mostly even worse, haha.

Default doesn't it drive you nuts?

Hey guys.......doesn't the weighing so often drive you nuts? Up a bit down a bit rinse repeat! I find weighing so bl&&dy depressing I only weigh every 2 weeks so would go bonkers doing it more often! And with us girls we are all at the mercy of hormones so fluctuate anyway
Back and sciatica better today so managed a 2.5 mile walk bit short of breath due to the change in inhalers.........moan moan!!
Have a good evening
Keep on keeping on!!!

Well done MW, a great walk considering. I know, I couldn't weigh myself everyday, for practical reasons and I think I prefer no more than weekly because the you can see more difference which motivates me better. But that is just how I work.
