Delphi I am so glad to hear that you are at peace with your decision. It sounds like the wise choice and an opportunity for you to think about it. You are awesome- and so inspirational to us.
Will continue to pray for you guys.

I am going to be needing alot of will power this weekend... It is my 40th and we have alot of day trips planned and some festivities will surely be involved...
Wish me luck ladies....

I figured this would be a good place to rant.

I exercised a lot this week.
I don't think I ate too unhealthy.
Why am I up .6?
I wouldn't usually be this upset, but this totally throws off my 4lb goal this month.
I really can't lose 2 pounds in one week. I'm too close to my goal, plus my body just isn't made to do that.
I feel like I'm stuck in this weight range forever.

Delphi I am so happy that you had a good visit with the doctor and he gave you some good advice and some options. I know it is good for you and Canaan to both be at home. You are such a strong woman you are truely inspiring to me.

Well I am doing well today have eating really good today the only exception I have had today is I got me a diet pepsi and I haven't had one in a week. I have had only water so that is really good for me. I was thinking I might allow myself to get one diet pepsi a week until I don't want them any longer.

Well I am off to fix something for dinner. It is very slim these days since we have packed most of the dishes LOL we are down to cooking on the grill or tuna sandwiches with a fruit salad. I hope that is ok for the time being until we move anyway. Can't wait to get in the new house so I can start cooking regular meals again.

Have a great evening I will check in later.

Another quick check-in to say "hi". I did read back a few pages. Enough to see what was going on with you, Delphi. Wow! You had/have a lot on your plate in an emotional sense. You are handling it with amazing strength and wisdom! You are such a fantastic mother. My hat's off to you. I will continue to pray for you and all your boys. It's gotta be a trial for them too.

All is well here. Making decent food choices as much as reasonably possible. Still lots of activity. I didn't pack the scale as planned either, so I am guessing things are okay, but not positive. We'll see in a few days when I return. Well, it's off to supper...wish me luck!

Hiyaaaaaaaaaaa girls It's late here and I'm beat (due to a late night last night) but wanted to come in and see whats going on before hitting the hay and how everyone is.

paperskin

I scrolled back to catch up .............Jacqui and NSM...thanks girls Same here........miss you chicks a lot... I am so happy with Delphi's news.

soulmeetsbody, hi there. I don't know why your up if you have cut back and are eating OP. I can exercise like the dickens and still wont lose weight if I don't eat right too. You may be nearing TOM or maybe you had something salty or some carbs which are holding onto water. Sometimes our bodies are just pure stubborn! I know mine sure is. You hang in there and keep at it...we still have plenty of time left in the month (31 days this month). Don't let your goal throw you off.....just do the best you can and IM sure you will see some rewards (physical, mental, etc.) It's frustrating when we work hard and not see a loss but you keep at it and that darn scale is bound to move. Congratulationsssssssssss on your workouts...I think thats great Keep up the good work

Delphi...........so glad your and canaan are back home! This is wonderful news, and also the news of trying the other options and the pediatrician. Oh.....is this the buddy you have been referring to? wait a minute, that sounds like im being nosy now! lol : ) you know what? Whoever this guy is that came over and made you eat a sub.........I like this guy! . You must be tired delphi from everything and even TOM on top of it........hope you take a little time to rest up darlin. Ohhhhhh, also congratulationssssssssss on onederland Again.....welcome back home to you and canaan

Lewisssssss. hi doll. Are you kidding??? lol...........chat away....I love it. I was real happy to hear from you......as always. I am soooooooo excited that you got your hummerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, omg! I had all females and finally got a male hummer. (we only have once species here....the rubythroated....and the males have a ruby colored throat). OMG....you know what a perfect gift for you would be? a hummer book. Aren't they the coolest ever? keep me posted ok? did you eat that cantaloupe yet? ohhhhhhhh........remember I was telling everyone about that bunny? Listen to this....it comes in the yard every single night and dh feeds it a whole carrot like every other day. He is leaving monday morning and reminded me to feed the bunny! lol. I didnt see it the other day but DH has been spotting it and he said it looks a lot fatter! lol I have to take a look at the pics again........I do recall she is looking mighty fine. Where is the pic of jacqui in a bikini? how did i miss that? lol

i better get going..........I'm sweating again for no .....it must be humid even though it's only 50 out. Girls...............love you all.....keep up the awesome work and congrats to all of you on the losses.

MsPerception...........I hope you are having a wonderful time on vacation.

Jacqui,,,,,, are you going on the lake this weekend? HOw have you been girl...miss our chats............miss all of our chats and hope to catch up soon. Hug.

Newshinyme..............wtg on the workouts girl

Lene........hi there girl. Hope your having a great summer. Urockmom, did you move out of state? lol wouldn't blame you if you did! miss ya...drop a line sometime.

crazymama.........hi girl : ) a big hi to all of you. Blondie, Glutio, Lauren, tummygirl and to all of our girlsss a big hello.

merose.........wtg on the denim!

I have a job interview today and I'm sooo nervous!
This is my problem! I'm the stressiest person in the world, and usually when I'm feeling this way I'll munch munch munch all day to try to make myself feel better.
AND the last job I interviewed for, the interviewer said she could tell I was nervous (I got that job, thank goodness), and I really really don't want to come across like that. I really am a very capable person and a good worker and I want to project that in an interview.
I haven't been near the fridge since breakfast, which is a great thing, but I am needing a technique - something to do with myself - to calm me down.

Delphi - I'm so glad you've got a good doctor. That makes a big difference, I think? Someone who can inform you enough to give you confidence in your decisions. Keep being strong! And congratulations on onederland by the way

Lookingtobehealthy - happy birthday!

mystical - is the move underway now? or are you just getting ready to do it? Either way, good luck

Soulmeetsbody - maybe you should reset your goal for this month? It's definitely not a failure to do that. You're so close to goal and maybe your body wants to slow down a bit. OR I could be completely off track and you might just be retaining water or something else that simple.

That's all I have time for! Got to go make myself look professional and smart, exactly like someone you'd like to hire...

Good Morning ladies

Hey gal's. Just wanted to breeze by before my workout and catch up on all your news. TOM is still here and Darth Scale continues to spite me. That's alright though. I'll check in after my workout and when things settle down and catch up on personals. You ladies have a groovy day.

Jacqui ~ Morning

Jacque ~ Indeed. Enjoy your weekend dear.

Merose ~ Good luck with your interview today. Well I guess it just depends on what you think of when you think of calm. I usually have to walk, pace or pick up the phone and hear a friendly voice. I do hope you find something that works for you.

FSA ~ No this isn't my generous friend from Washington rather the man I was "seeing" sort of for a few years back. We have always been real good friends, but when we let sex get involved, I kind of backed off and pushed him out of my life..that's my MO. Anywho, he is a great guy but you ladies know me, I'm just not groovin' on the whole relationship thing. Thanks for the PM as well. How have you been doing? Busy lately?

MsP ~ Thanks Yeah, the unseen heroes are my other children. Toughing it with grandma while I was in the hospital. It is definitely something that affects us as a family unit. At any rate, I am so glad to see you still posting and keeping up with exercise and staying OP, even though you are on vacation.

Mystical ~ Hey don't you fret about that diet pepsi. It has no calories so it really has no affect, unless it acts like a trigger for you. There is nothing wrong with having a diet soda, so do not feel guilty about it. You are doing very well, just be proud of all the things you are doing for your new improved lifestyle.

SMB ~ It's very normal and typical for our bodies to frustrate us as much as possible. Our bodies do not like to lose weight, so it will do all it can to counter your efforts to do so. Hang in there and take comfort in the fact that daily fluctuations are normal and will happen.

Looking ~ Good luck with the weekend festivities. Sounds like fun but I'm sure you will do just fine. Just remember portion control and make the best choices you can. Oh and happy 40th!

As for me, I got back to my routine and the ST this morning was freakin' awesome. Dang how I miss that. Funny how I missed the ST but cardio..not so much. I don't know the ST just really makes my body feel all groovy and stuff. Well ladies I'm off to the grocery store in a few so I'll check in later.

Happy Friday All!

I am soooo glad it's almost the weekend!

So I didn't weigh myself today but not because I have had a bad week, I have actually had a very good week, I have just decided that I only need to do it once a week.

The reasoning behind it is that if I go up 0.4 or 0.6 or whatever I get too worked up over it, it puts me down and makes my day a whole lot worse even thoug I know there are like a hundred different reasons for small flucuations. However, it still get's too me so weighing only once a week going forward.

What do you all think about weigh in once a week??

On another note, I have got only 2 weekends to pack before I move so I am freaking out a little! I hate packing! But whatever I know that once we're done I'll feel like a million times better about it. SO yep that's what my weekend is going to look like.

Hope you all have a good one

Oh I should also mention that I had a NSV this week!

I hate exercising! I hate going to the gym! But this week I was there 4 times! Best yet for me! And I actually feel good about it!

Will have to keep it up

Crazy, who would've thought ...
