Does anyone collect baseball cards... ?
-------------------------------
I have a very limited collection, my favorite is Pedro Martinez rookie card, he signed it in 2001, but it was pouring out, ink got wet and smudged... Makes for a good story though.... I didn't spit on it, I swear
What's your favorite ? Which ones do you seek ? Which reference books or sites do you use ?

My signature is looking a bit Easter-y no ?

SWEET-C My son is 27 so he started collecting when Kenny Griffy was a rookie. He has several of his rookie cards still in the box. He had over 10,000 cards which I gave to kids at church this past year. He kept some of his favorites but there wasn't much value for the cards from 1990 to 2000....so many collecting. He has several autographed...Tony Gwynn (around here everyone does) and Jim Abbot plus several Dodgers.

We had a great time collecting and organizing them....a lot of fun for me and him and his sister! She collected too...Disney cards.

Damn crazy game. Both teams left a zillion guys on base before Albert finally came through. I had a feeling that would happen that inning, he's never really killed the Mets its always the lesser guys that seem to kill us, so I had a feeling he was due.

I am also not liking that Shoemaker guy much either lol. 6 hits, a diving catch...goodness!

And the umpires have been terrible this year geez what has happened to them?

Well I hope the Cardinals are all pumped up after last night's win.

We have Lohse going today. Should be a good pitching match-up.

Oh.. RAZZ I so agree with you, I don't mind that much if the calls are consistently bad, but its really been one-sided a lot... and the make-up calls so obvious..

Game three with Yankees is tonight at 8pm... I'll be glad when our local announcers are back, these 'network' guys make me crazy... We really, really need this one... I'm hoping the tit for tat throwing at each other is over. I think we are even, Joba threw at Youkilis on Friday a couple of times, not hitting him though (I'm not buying that it slipped out of his hand, I believe Joba would put the game on the line to make a point) so yesterday Hansen threw "at" A-Rod and hit him. Who knows what today will bring... Boy, losing really puts me in a foul mood

Let's go, Red Sox!!! Yankees have taken the first two of this series at Fenway ...

We don't have MLB in Raleigh so I have to look out of town for my team!

GO RED SOX!!!

hmmmm... it's a little damp out my window right now - actually raining. Might not get to see the Red Sox strike back.
