Well we got the win tonight

Carpenter only went 4 innings but it's a start. He hasn't pitched since opening day last season. It's a long rehabilitation, nice to see him on the mound.

No more talk about Holliday for now. Since we are in a pathetic division, they think the Rockies still have a chance for playoffs, so he'll stay for now. I think!

Wow Manny a Dodger!? He had been rumored to be traded to the Mets every yr for the past 5 years and then he never got traded anywhere, so I really thought this would be one of those times again where its all a big tease. Doesn't seem like LA lost much and the Sox got themselves a solid player in Bay.


My Mets did nothing. Would have loved to see them get another bat for the OF, but I guess they couldn't find the right deal. Hopefully our surprise contributors will keep it up, and we'll get our RFer back healthy soon.

I think we gave up WAY too much... Manny, a reliever who could be pretty good, a decent outfielder and 7 million dollars... and we got Bay... which is fine, looking forward to him. But we didn't get any middle relief, actually Hansen was active bullpen..

Gary... I think Manny will be an interesting addition to former rival Mr. Torre, although I've heard they respect each other a lot...

Unconfirmed reports said that 24/25 Red Sox players wanted Manny OUTTA here... that was a little unsettling...

Yep SWEET-C the talk on the sports channels is the DODGERS got a sweet deal here. I think so, but I assume it will be just for this play-off run. We shall see.
