I am grad student so I am used to staying up pretty late and luckily don't have to wake up too early tomorrow. Still this is a never ending game, and I don't want to be up all night. Ugh Uggla again with an error....I don't want the game to end right this second either
Well, I made it to the 13th inning. Yawn! That's 11:00 here. What a game! Too bad it ended poorly!!
Good night for the Rockies, Holliday with a homer and Cook didn't blow it too badly. Whew.
I had to feel sorry for Uggla. What a bad night for him. I thought maybe my 12 year old son could give him some pointers.
I managed to see 99.9% of the game. Because I had consumed some extra liquid I was in another room when Young got that hit... I thought it was a pretty boring game, but couldn't shut it off.... I was happy for JD Drew, but what the heck is he going to do with yet another new automobile ? I suppose he'll park it next to the Red Volvo Convertible they got for winning the WS... I could really use a new car... (94 Honda here).
Anyone else little ansy w/out their games ??? I am...... Boston's games start at 10pm this week...

I just turned on the minor league all-star game on espn to see a friend of my son's pitching the 3rd inning...Brian Mazone...he got the side out in order...I only saw the last out...glad I DVR'd it! Not sure if he will pitch the 4th.
be back later
EDIT ~that is espn2 and no Brian isn't pitching the 4th...dang!
Was he the starter Gary... ? That's really cool...
SWEET-C, Brian has been AAA with the Phillies for the last 3 years. He gets close but just never quite to the bigs....maybe this year. He worked with my son for a few years at a sporting goods store when he was off-season and my son worked there during college. They became friends and keep in touch. There are other local boys that my son knows that have been in the majors for a bit but are back in the minors...but Brian is his only friend.

4 against the Padres. We'll do our best Gary to beat them
I am going thru major baseball withdrawal lol. Thankfully the Mets are also one of the teams playing tomorrow starting a 4 game series in Cinncinnati. Hopefully they can keep that win streak going!
I'm with all of you. Let's get back to our games!
Don't you head to Arizona, EZ? That should be a good series to watch!
WE are...without our closer SAITO now, looks like he may be out for the year/career...dang!
A local boy from mine and my kids/nephew's High School Alma Mater made the Olympic baseball team, a pitcher, Trevor Cahill He was a first round pick of the A's in 2006...now pitches for their AA team.
