I weigh 189 this morning!! Oh my gosh, I haven't been here in 4 years and I am only 10 lbs away from where I fell off the wagon on my last ticker! Of course, today is my cheat day, and you'd think I'd just skip it, but nope! It seems to be working for me and I'm not going to mess with it now. I can stand the 1 or 2 water weight lbs that I'll put back on for a couple of days because I'm losing weight overall! (Not to mention, Ohio State plays today and I need game snacks, lol!) I am just so excited! A week ago, I thought I had no chance of reaching goal!

Well it looks like the whoosh fairy has been pretty busy. Don't worry she will make her rounds soon to the others! Feeling really good about this weeks weigh in. I also feel GREAT about my exercise these past two weeks too. I have walked on the treadmill for 2 miles on Monday's Wednesday's and Friday's for the past two weeks! Yesterday I walked for 2.5 miles while watching Pitch Perfect on the iPad! (love

Hey!thank you! The last two weeks have been rocky but, I drink lots of water, green tea when I remember , occasional crystal light. breakfast is normally a cheesestick with an apple, or eggs with fruit, lunch is tuna or chicken with veg, dinner is Mostly veggies meat and legumes, creams like whipped cream on fruit is dessert, sour cream on dinner, no grains period. It works for me. Once I get chocolate in the house forget it, lol. We went out for two friends birthday last night, I ate half my Fatoush salad, half my chicken taouk pita, a d boxed the rest, I ate it when I got home at 3 am after dancing, but no booze just water. Had a little tiny cake. But last night wasan exception.I dance a lot. I take Zumba 2x a week and I bellydance, I use dance as my exercise, samba will kill your thighs been practicing that, i dance a little bachata nearly everyday but only a half song or so cuz the music is on not really for exercise.

9/21 - 154 <-- Better than expected after bingeing yesterday. I stayed within my maintenance range but I'm paying dearly for all that sugar. Between the sugar and the cold my joints are stiff and swollen. I'd take it easy but I'm working and it's Scrapfest 2013 at the mall I work at so it'll be psychotic day (make that weekend. It was crazy yesterday and I work tomorrow to which is the final day). But I'm back on track with eating.
Oh Jacqui_D Congrats!!! -- Last time when I lost 30 pounds I did it with one cheat day per week. I am thinking about adopting the same plan again. I seem to fall off the wagon when I am too strict and want the losses bad/fast.

Thanks Sum! I really am surprised by how well it works for me in combination with a low-carb diet. I just don't struggle anymore, and every time before when I went on a diet, I did. I struggled so much in fact, it took me four years just to work up the motivation to attempt to lose weight again. I wish I had figured all this out 30 years ago. I would have saved myself lots of yo-yo dieting!
