Everyone is doing so great!! Keep up the awesome work! I need to get back into exercising. I haven't gone for a run in almost two weeks because...I just don't wanna <------that's a big ol' whine. I'm kicking my own butt into gear and going out tonight. I'm the same weight I was at last week's weigh in (I WI on Tuesdays), so something's gotta change.
Just call me Broken Record. I’m at 146 yet again, and this is getting boring! I think I need to shake things up today, so I will do two things. First, I’m going to take an extra walk. I’ll walk about 8-10 km, rather than my usual 4 or 5. Plus, I’m going to eat a very light lunch…perhaps some Greek yoghurt and a bit of fruit. I find that increasing my exercise and reducing my calories by a few hundred just for a day often jolts my body back into gear again. We’ll see if it works!
Turtle: You and I are both on the proverbial slow boat to China. I think it’s about time that the whoosh fairy paid the two of us a visit. Are you listening whoosh fairy?

Emme: Sometimes you just need to change things up a bit…getting back into running should do the trick. I can’t run (age-related issues), so I walk instead. Sometimes I don’t feel like going for my walk, but if I drag my butt of the chair and start walking, I really do enjoy it and I’m always so happy I did. It just perks me up, especially if the sun is shining!

Tuscany, that's a great idea about shaking things up! Sometimes we need that extra boost of exercise or a change in our food to make our body shift in the right direction again.

Well, I did as promised: I ate a very light lunch yesterday and took an extra long walk (almost 12km), on top of which Joy and Jacqui convinced the whoosh fairy to take pity on me. As a result of all that, I dropped a full pound this morning. Only one more pound to goal…fingers crossed!
Turtle: I hope the whoosh fairy took pity on you too.
Jacqui: Yeah…back in the 180’s…good for you! I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I reach a new decade. I also noticed the October “weightloss challenge”. I’m ignoring it and waiting for Joy to start our usual thread. I like the crowd that hangs out here.

So it appears that a baby whoosh fairy visited me. I was hoping for the giant Uncle hairy fairy, but he must have been busy somewhere else. Down .6 today. Keeping fingers crossed
Although at this point in this month I have lost 0.0 lbs, friends and family have been noticing the difference. I've gotten a bunch of "om goodness, you look skinny" comments and they saw me at the beginning of the month. Wierd, but definately helping the stall.
