Zoinks! I ate well yesterday, too! Oh well, it just goes to show you that your body just does what it wants, when it wants. Time to keep on movin' forward.
188.5 this morning! Woohoo! I thought for sure I'd be back up to 190, because I ate a BIG ol' steak for dinner last night. I was so stuffed. I kept telling myself to stop eating but it was one of those things when it just tasted so good! I kept telling myself, "Okay, I'll have just one more bite" and I kept having one more bite till it was all gone! I'm glad proteins don't hold water like carbs do!
Lene! I'm so glad to see you back!!! Congrats on making goal!
Joy, oh good, I'm glad the October thread is worked out. It's best just to have one monthly thread to avoid confusion. Great job!
Turtle, yay! I'm so happy that the whoosh fairy finally showed up properly! Let's hope she hangs out for a while!
Tuscany, so close! I know you'll get there!
Emme, I bet with that rise you're about to get a drop, right into Onederland! C'mon Whoosh Fairy, throw a little pixie dust Emme's way!
Cheeri, my fingers are crossed for you! You can do it!
MzShaunna, keep working at it! You're not far off at all!
Great news! I just got back from jeans shopping, and I've dropped 2 sizes! I've gone from a tight 18 to a comfortable 14! Yay! Things like that are even more fun than stepping on the scale with a whoosh!
Hello everyone we are soooo close to October its crazy!! I didnt do to well weight wise but I knew that it was coming. TOM should be here this weekend and I have been super snackie. Im trying to stick with good snacks but you all know how it is. Went up .5 pounds which is frustrating but I know that I can get it off. I also added another routine to my workouts. Mon., Wed., and Fri. I walk on the treadmill at 3.0-3.5 MPH for at least 2 miles. This week on Tues. and Thurs. I added a stability ball workout. Its only for 15 min but it hurt so good
Not a great month weight wise but I have started exercising and have been sticking to it for 3 weeks now!! I wont hit to number goal but I have hit other goals that I never thought I would meet!

Lene: Welcome back! When I saw you hadn’t posted in a while, I was worried that your new diet strategy hadn’t worked and you’d fallen off the wagon, so to speak. Congratulations on surpassing your September goal. I’m SO happy for you and good luck getting into the 150’s! I had a fabulous time with my daughter and her fiancé, especially in Italy since the weather was fabulous and I’d never been there before. The weather in the UK was as per usual for September – cold and rainy. On the plus side, though, that gave us an excuse to stay inside, which translated into shopping! I bought a new jacket and a new suit, plus we found my daughter’s wedding dress and shoes. So, all in all, a great vacation!
Turtle: Yeah for the mommy whoosh fairy! You’re now at a new low. I hope the downward trend continues and that you’ll soon join Lene in the 150’s!
Jacqui: Enjoying a steak and losing a half pound is a fabulous combination, and dropping two sizes is a terrific result!
Joy: That’s a sensible solution to the errant October thread.
Emme: Sometimes the scales just have a mind of their own… that’s generally when I give them a stern lecture!
cheeriloos: Good luck getting to goal in these last few days… you’re now doing all the right things.
Amanda: Often the non-scale goals are the more important ones, since they’re what will see us through in the long run. Keep up the good work!
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still around. I got my TOM yesterday and my weight is back up to 66.5-ish (I used metric scales instead of digital this morning lol). Fingers-crossed it comes down in a few days. If it doesn't, then it's time to get back into a more strict diet plan again!
I fell off the bandwagon this week. It was super stressful and I reached a point of do I relapse with a certain something else or binge. Binge won out because I didn't even want to go there with the other thing. I've also been having really severe migraines but I continued going to school and work. I picked up a couple extra shifts this week because we had one woman (who works opposite schedule of me) quit for no reason. And then yesterday my coworkers got me a giant cookies-n-cream caramel apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory for my birthday and it was delicious. Today is my birthday and I'm gonna eat whatever because not worrying about it is my gift to myself. But I still feel really sick just from the amount of stress I've had. Hopefully I can take it easy today but I also need to do a lot of laundry because it's my first day home and off in awhile.
I plan to get back on track either tomorrow or Monday.
This morning the scale fluctuated between 144.25 and 144.50…hard to say, but I will record the higher number. I now need to lose another half (or quarter) pound by tomorrow. So it’s back to a light lunch plus an extra long walk for me today, in the hopes of shaking things up again. Fingers crossed!
Turtle: Way to go Greyhound. Grandma whoosh fairy must have come looking for Momma. You’ve had three generations of whoosh fairies this week. Look out October and the 150’s...here comes Turtle!
Jacqui: I’d say you’ve now left the 190’s behind…never to be seen again…way to go!
Joy: You’re back to below goal…good job!
Leah: A belated Happy Birthday. I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad week and I wish you good luck getting back on track.
Rhiko: I hope you drop a few pounds (or kg!) once TOM is over.
I can't believe that the final weigh in for September is tomorrow!! I think I'll be happy to start a new month, September was a little bit of a dud for me .
Happy Belated Birthday Leah Birthdays are free in my opinion, that cake sounds awesome.
Tuscany - keeping my fingers crossed for you! You are sooo close
Lene - come back and do October with us!!!!!!
Jacqui - I believe you have successfully left those 190s in the dust... and dropping 2 jean sizes..... just awesome. I'm a little scared to go and try on some new pairs. I've ventured into some of my smaller clothing, but they seem to fit differently than when I used to wear them.
Rhiko - 3rd/4th day of TOM I seem to get a whoosh, I'm sure you will too.
Emme & cicorn - you guys are soooo close to onederland.
cheeriloos - I'm sure the green tea and zumba will work, your so close to your 10 lb goal!
Joy - congrats on goal!!
southern - awesome job with those workout, 3-3.5 mph is a really fast walk. I've never used a stability ball, is that for core workouts?
