I have no idea how my weight is up. I haven't cheated at all. My calorie count has actually been a little low so I was going to have a higher calorie day today.

I was maintaining at 205 for a long time. Gave up 6+ Mountain Dews a day and replaced them with water. Not water with something added. Just plain 0 calorie water. Gave up snacking. All snacking. Even my all night graze-a-thon. Stopped taking seconds of meals. Added a lot of veggies. Watched portions. Just the Dew alone should be taking off 2 pounds a week.

I dare someone to say to me today that losing weight is easy all you have to do is eat fewer calories than you use and I will beat them about the head and shoulders with my scale.

I'll keep going but I'd even be happy if I plateaued at this number for a while, you know, just so it's here to stay and not an anomaly. I think now that I've fallen into the swing of school and work, my stress has decreased which made my weight loss at the end of August stubborn.

Good morning, everyone. I went for a run last night for the first time in two weeks (my knee had swollen up), and it felt great. Granted, I only ran one mile and walked the last two, but the last thing I want to do is make my knee swell again.

I'm up 1/2 pound which is expected. I ate some pretty salty things over the weekend, I ran last night (which means my body is holding onto water to repair muscles), and I wasn't totally on plan with calories. I didn't eat horribly, but I ate a smidge more than I should have.

1: DNW
2: DNW
3: 207.6 (1610 calories)
4: 206.6 (1730 calories)
5: 205.2 (1695 calories)
6: 204.4 (2019)
7: 204.0 (1956)
8: 203.8 (DNT)
9: 204.4

pnkrckpixikat, I'm a big fan of eating out. I'd do it everyday if I could afford it financially. Good for you for eating out on Saturdays only! Maybe it will become a day to be focused on, meaning you'll eat really well all week knowing that on Saturday you will be going out for something different to eat. Good luck!

B F R, my scale is always three pounds less than what my doctor's office weighs me in at. If you want an accurate weight daily, weigh yourself as soon as you wake up in the morning with no clothes on.

cheeriloos, mmmm, Chinese sounds delicious! I'm sure you'll be back on track before you know it.

Changergirl, contrats on the loss! Woo hoo!

Angelique, the Monday after the weekend is always highest for me, too. I don't get a lot of water in during the weekend (I get at least 120 oz during the week), and I think that really affects me. I'm sure the scale will start its downward trend for you. Keep hydrated!

Stay Puft, ugh, I hear you about calorie counting. That's what I'm doing and it's what I did a few years ago to drop my last 30 pounds. It's so maddening at times. How the helll can I eat on-calorie, drink a ton of water, and be UP!?! It's frustrating, isn't it? This may sound bizarre, but some days when this would happen, I would eat an extra 500-600 calories for one day and then go back to my normal calories. I would always start dropping again. Of course, this is just my own scientific experiment, and may not work for everyone. The extra calories were fun, though.

LovelyLeah: AWESOME job on the weight loss!!!

Woohoo! Back below my SW. Let's see if I can keep this going this time. The long ride up and back down was not worth the off day I had.

SW: 78.45kgs
CW: 78.4 (-0.45)
GW: 77

Hang in there Stay_Puft and Rooster! Scale woes, whether of the mechanical type or the weird biology type will get worked out!

Rooster, are there batteries in your scale? Sometimes replacing the batteries will fix odd readings.

Still at 197 today. Still not feeling well. (Wonder if they're related.) Will do personals again when I can!

Talking My September goal is to lose 6 lbs.

I started at 166.6 and today I weigh 165.4, so I may not make it. I would be ok losing 4 lbs., though.

It just dawned on me that I've officially hit the healthy/normal bmi category, barely, but I've made it nonetheless!!!!!!

And welcome Gloricat!
