Probably after months or years. I've been at it for almost 8 and I still haven't learned. You haven't felt a stomachache until you've eaten a pound of whole milk mozzarella and some Chinese to wash it down with... not my proudest moment.

It used to bore me, too, until my mom watched it so much that none of us can go a day without it. I just watch it to see how Pierce and Hunnicut pi$$ off the army that day.

I could wash that truck everyday, and it would still be filthy!
That sounds like my dream life, except the cars are clean, everything is greena nd sustainable, and we raise chickens and pigs not for meat but for companionship. -_-' I'm such a hippy...

So I'm doing tons of laundry, and cleaning my house is nice and clean when we come home, and all I'll have to do is unpack. I've been 100% on plan! I'm so sorry I don't have the time to do personals but promise to catch up with everyone sometime tonight or tomorrow. I miss talking with everyone (I hate having alot to do)! Have a great day and be good to yourselves!
Sounds like what we do when we leave for Disney, lol. Its the only place we go. Ahhh, I miss Mickey.

Well, I've been doing well without exercise, although I'm itching to find something. Question, does anybody count their warm-ups and cool-downs towards their cardio time? I have a bellydancing tape that's 26 1/2 minutes with the warm-up and cool-down, but would it be more beneficial to not count that time so that I'm working hard for the full hour or 1 1/2 hours that I do during the day?

I zonked out on the sofa and was useless! No wonder though! Hey at least I finished off my red badge and then some!

Today is supposed to be a bike ride of about 1.5 hours. Trying to muster up the energy to get out the door.

On the bright side the weight loss looks really good this week so I'm psyched.
I'm in awe! That's alot of exercise for one day! Keep up the great work!

OMG 21 pages. I think I am back at page 9 or so. So it might take me a day to catch up!

I am holding at 189 so far, so maybe no loss this week. I gained and lost 2 pounds. I think the 190 number is another bumped number for me, ugh!!

ok i needed to update my may goals after this week so i have redone my blog and added them and set up tickers so everyone can see what i've done (and keep me accountable - This is the MAIN reason)....lol
and I just put them into a Word doc in big bold words! and printed two copies, one to put on my computer armoire (to remind me to workout before getting on the laptop all day), and the other to go outside where we work out so i can see them each morning and keep me motivated so here's my modified goals for May.

Mandey's May Goals:
--1600 minutes of exercise.
--75 miles of walking/jogging.
--Lose 3 pounds. (I started May 1st at 145.6 lb, so I need to be at least under 142.6 lbs on 5/31).

Default Greetings Fellow Red Team Members

I am checking in for the week. Being without the Internet at home is such an eye opener! This week was not a great week. I hate feeling like I am barely making it (in life in general) and it flows to my food choices. What's worse is that I know I am making bad decisions. I see the bad decision going on and I still follow through. Now if I could only do that with good decisions!

As Scarlet would say, tomorrow is another day!

Hey everyone!
Just checking in quick...I have my parents here visiting this week and haven't had much computer time. But I AM staying on plan- yay! Today I had an awesome 45 minutes on the treadmill and another 20 minute walk with dh tonight.
I did go to a chinese buffet for dinner tonight- but was my one meal splurge this week and I only had one plate! So I consider that a success
Had a good weigh-in today too- need to update that.
Will try to check in again- life will get back to normal on MOnday
have a great weekend!!

I'm no expert, but here's my two cents. If you want to count just your actual cardio, then I wouldn't include the warm-up and cool-down, but I would definitely include it in the total time exercised, because even if it isn't as strenuous as the other activity, it is a great deal more than you'd be getting if you were sitting on a porch swing drinking iced tea.

ArmyWife02 - Great job on the not smoking. I'm glad that you are finding ways to decrease your desire for a cigarette.

Still on plan here, though I almost lost it yesterday. I try to stay under 30 carbs, though I allow myself up to 50. Well I started out the day rather poorly with a slice of bread (10). Then I started feeling a bit faint at work so I had a bag of peanuts (9). Fortunately we went to a fairly nice place for lunch, and I had the presence of mind to tell the waiter to not even bring me my potatoes, so that wasn't a total disaster. Then I came home and ate 1/2 cup of Breyers chocolate icecream (another 18). Thank goodness I was able to stop myself, or things could have gotten very ugly!

I'm pleased with my exercising, and in my running program I'm now up to 5min walk/4min run. Yesterday was the first day at that increase, and it wasn't nearly as bad as it was when I jumped up to 3min run. My exercise Dvds should arrive today so I'm practically jumping up and down waiting for the mail to come. As soon as my sister gets up we are going to go for a long bike ride together. I'm only 89 minutes short of badge number 2!

Good work everyone! We may have our little bumps and tumbles, but we get right back up and hit the trail.

Sorry I've been MIA alot this challenge so far. I've been so overwhlemed with school work and my apprenticeship and then I was miserably sick all week this past week. NOT FUN! I am happy to report a 3.8lb loss this week for the red team. WOOHOO!!!! Being sick can sometimes be a weight loss opportunity, so with as miserable as I have been, i'm glad somethign postitive came out of it. Now I just have to make sure to keep it off now that I'm feeling better.

My class is finally done and my apprenticeship is finally done. Today i'm putting my finishign touches on my portfolio and then on Monday i'm handing it in and i'm done with it. So hopefully I will have more time to post now. Although, 21 pages, YIKES!! I could never catch up. LOL

I hope all of our mothers have a wonderful MOTHER"S DAY!!! XOXO
