Thanks all for the well wishes and prayers. I'm excited about my second cataract surgery now that I know what to expect and what the results will be. I'll check in as soon as I can!

Way to go everybody, keep up the hardwork.

Diva-I use livestrong (TDP), i also use Sparkpeople but not to count calories. I tried it for a bit but just didn't like it. Tried looking you up there a while back but couldn't find ya. I'm dream710 over there too. Sorry to hear you quit plurking, I didn't get into it too much but at that time of my life I had so much going on that I didn't have the time. I wished I had it seemed like a lot of fun. I also use fb. I don't know if we are friends on there or not.

Anyways I best get my butt moving, going to do 45 minutes of pilates this morning.

Be back later

Dream, I still use TDP to count my calories because their database is WAY better than Sparkpeople's. I like that you get a choice and it shows the calories and serving size BEFORE you actually add it, that way you know it's right. But I really like Sp's Fitness and articles and stuff better. I guess ya have to take what ya need and leave the rest. As for posting and support, I still prefer 3FC's. I wish the Message board/teams were set up more like 3FC message boards but I guess ya can't have it all.

omg, I guess I really shredded my abs, because the pain is crazy when I walk. and the wierdest thing is it's in my love handle area.--I guess where I would have obliques if I wasn't so chunky there.

I think I can still do my stationary. I am going to try. even if I have to do just 16 mph for the whole time. I will definitely do arms and legs. Might leave abs alone again though.

i haven't done any exercise yet. i was going to go for a run, but it was midday and the sun was really hot. so thought i'd wait till the afternoon. and now its nearly 6pm, and i'm feeling not so motivated and abit sleepy! so i'm going to listen to Paul Mckenna's cd of exercise hypnosis and see if that will help me, like it did yesterday morning

LOL Onderchic! hehe.

well i listened to the hypnosis cd, and it worked i went for a run.

but sadly, the shin splits have returned! i guess the extended rest i had with no running, probably was the reason why i had no pain in my shins yesterday.

so i only managed to run between 30-1 minute intervals, but the pain in my shins was quite painful, so didnt push myself to injury. will take rest days between running from now on.

i did a total of 6 minutes of running (with interval walking).

i'm going to also increase the number of steps i take each day. yesterday i took 7174 steps.

so today i want to increase that by a couple of hundred steps. so far i am on 4965.

Paul Mckenna said that there was a study conducted by this scientist, and he found out that the difference between a normal weight person and a person overweight is only 2000 steps. that is a person who is normal weight, only takes 2000 more steps than an overweight person. so i'm motivated to increase my steps, by taking little walks here and there throughout the day

ps i have to admit this thread and you girls does motivate me to do some exercise each day, so i have something to report! hehehe

Hey all! My second cataract surgery went well, but I think it triggered a migraine and my stomach is very upset. The vision in the new eye is blurry but I can tell its a big inprovement! there's a lot of gunk in there still so it will take a few days to clear out. I get to throw away my contacts and solutions, and donate my glasses. I got a new set of drops for the right eye and now have to keep the left drops seperate from the left's drops so I don't get them confused!! But if this is the worst I have to complain about, I feel I'm doing fine. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.
